13/01/2026: Il Balivo, a Champoluc institution, has become a must-visit for lovers of fine dining. It offers high-quality food and impeccable service, thanks to its friendly and knowledgeable staff. Reservations are required.

11/01/2026: Very cozy place. I had the sirloin steak and the beef fillet which were good. However, it lacked sauce which in my opinion should be included.

17/01/2026: What a find!!! Tucked away in a beautiful residential apartment building, we walked past it several times and only that we asked the security guard on the door if hed heard if it. You need a code to access the building and I guess if you book ahead (we didn't) you'd get directions and the code. Either way it was soooooo worth it! The food was amazing, tasty, skillful combinations beautifully presented a.d served by delightful staff. In a beautiful vaulted room the atmosphere is calm and unhurried. Crisp white linen tablecloths and countless original portraits lining the walls complete the picture. Can't recommend highly enough bit a bit worried that it will be so popular we might not be able to get in next time!!!

07/03/2026: I hadn't visited the restaurant in a couple, maybe three, years. Something must have happened in the kitchen, or perhaps I just had a night that wasn't up to par with previous visits. Let's hope for a full return.

22/02/2026: Dining at the Atrium Bar inside Four Seasons Hotel Firenze was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the insalata di barbabietole to the risotto al limone and perfectly prepared pollo griglia, every dish was executed with precision, balance, and authentic Italian elegance. The ingredients were vibrant, the presentation refined, and the pacing flawless. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the service. Kudos to both the waiter and the sommelier — they were extraordinarily aware of my needs before I even voiced them. Water refilled seamlessly, wine perfectly timed, courses delivered with intuitive rhythm. Their level of anticipation demonstrated a highly skilled, synchronized team that made everything feel effortless. The sommelier’s wine selection complemented the meal beautifully, enhancing each course rather than competing with it. That level of expertise is rare — it reflects training, passion, and pride in craft. The entire team operated with quiet confidence and professionalism, delivering an amazing experience without ever feeling intrusive. It was refined hospitality at its highest level. Florence offers many dining options, but when service, cuisine, and atmosphere align like this, it becomes more than dinner — it becomes a memory. Bravo to the entire team.

03/02/2026: We went to this restaurant for my spouse’s birthday. The plate portions were very, very small, as you can see from the photos. While this can be expected at Michelin starred restaurants, the small portion sizes of the dishes were still a bit disappointing. Honestly, after leaving, there wasn’t a single dish that really made me say “wow.” The service was excellent. They prepared him a birthday cake as well. The atmosphere is formal and elegant.

13/01/2026: A pleasant surprise in Siziano. Beautiful, meticulously maintained restaurant, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. I enjoyed the braised beef ravioli and the Nebbiolo di Ghemme.

25/11/2025: A wonderful experience. The venue is beautifully decorated, welcoming, and quiet. The staff is highly qualified, kind, and attentive. The food is an explosion of flavors. The tartare is beautiful and abundant, prepared in front of you—a unique experience. Then there's the tagliolini with white truffle, truly superb. They even gave us complimentary pieces of hazelnut nougat and a chocolate biscuit. The price is right for those looking for a special evening.

18/01/2026: In the beautiful setting of a Walser house, overlooking the small square of Riva Valdobbia, with the Monte Rosa in the background, this restaurant embodies perfection in (apparent) simplicity. From the raw ingredients to the wine list, from the elegant and always balanced dishes to the impeccable service, from the refined atmosphere to the rigorous seasonality of the menu, everything contributes to the excellence of the experience. To be repeated regularly.

08/09/2025: I stayed for a weekend at Agriturismo Capuccina. It's a magnificent place, with beautiful rooms and extremely welcoming staff. The restaurant is fantastic, with excellent cuisine and products grown on site. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: We had dinner there about a week ago, a very pleasant surprise. A very nice place with a contemporary and youthful feel, a unique menu with a gourmet twist, beautiful and delicious dishes, well-chosen combinations, and fast service (a highly respectable kitchen team... The open kitchen is beautiful!!! Well done, keep it up!!!

31/01/2026: We visited this restaurant after a show at the Philharmonic. It's an intimate place, the food is excellent, and the staff is knowledgeable and available to offer advice. Everything was delicious, especially the dessert. We ordered the panna cotta, which also included cinnamon, but we asked for this sauce on the side, and they very kindly accommodated our request. We were truly satisfied.

14/02/2026: Excellent restaurant/trattoria (plus restaurant). Typical Piedmontese dishes, including seafood, are all very good. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service. Excellent six-course wine list.
