Today for lunch, the two of us plus our dog Stella. Excellent welcome, fast service and excellent and well served gourmet dishes. We will definitely return. I recommend it..

The dishes are all delicious and carefully prepared... the dining room staff, including the chef's wife, are friendly, quick and able to put the customer at ease

Very nice restaurant, beautiful view from the windows, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Recommended dishes cotechino on Jerusalem artichoke cream, risotto with saffron, marrow and black truffle, the only flaw was that the truffle could not be felt either on the palate or on the nose. Overall very good and well presented dishes. Unfortunately very rude service which leads me to only give 3 stars, being a restaurant with prices decidedly above average I also expect another type of service and friendliness with the customer.

Family run restaurant with 'Fine Dining' a la carte, inspired and informed by the surrounding alps. I go here every year when in Italy. Book ahead of visiting, especially during weekends.

Dopo il suo trasferimento da Rassa, abbiamo ritrovato l'hostaria ancora più raffinata e di classe. Dalle finestre, il panorama abbraccia tutta Varallo: un quadro! Servizio gentile, cortese. Carta dei vini ben selezionata (noi abbiamo scelto un Alta Langa 100% pinot noir eccellente) e possibilità di gustare le pietanze alla carta o con un menù degustazione. Noi abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione (50 euro a persona), consigliatissimo perché permette di assaporare una selezione del menù alla carta con portate più contenute: tre antipasti, un primo, secondo e dolce. La cucina porta in tavola tutti i profumi della valle, con grande ricerca della materia prima a partire dal pane di Fobello, eccellenza gastronomica e vanto della Val Mastallone. Fantastico tutto!!

Dopo 5 anni e una pandemia, siamo tornati nella nuova location a Varallo. Offerta ricercata per la valle, nella formula del menu degustazione quasi economica considerando i 6 piatti a 50€. Vini economici non ce ne sono, ricarichi che potrebbero essere leggermente più bassi, ma ampia scelta non solo di piemontesi. In definitiva una bellissima esperienza, buon servizio e molto bello anche l'arredamento, il legno ovunque, i balconcini. Torneremo magari per il menù estivo.

A distanza di un po' di tempo devo rettificare.. menù che si è molto ridotto e spesso ti senti dire "sì ma ne è rimasto uno solo" oppure "oggi non c'è questo e non c'è quello" Prezzi in alcuni casi folli, tipo tagliolini al tartufo 43€, Insomma non essendo in centro a Milano a mio avviso quantità e prezzi fuori contesto.
