The extensive and carefully curated wine list expertly complements the chef's every offering. A complete and memorable gastronomic experience, fully deserving of its Michelin-starred recognition.

07/10/2025: Highly recommended if you're not too fond of Michelin-starred restaurants with unique and unusual flavors (I'm a fan of those cuisines). I recommend it if you want to try traditional dishes revisited with top-quality ingredients. Excellent wine list. The staff is the strength of this restaurant; you feel right at home.

24/10/2025: I found this restaurant in the Michelin Guide and stopped by for lunch yesterday with a friend. We tried the seasonal forest menu featuring chestnuts. All the dishes were exceptional and beautifully presented. The service from the two ladies, who we later learned were sisters, was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

08/10/2025: First of all, a big thank you to Antonella for her kindness and help! Our room and that of our traveling companion were exactly as shown on the website, beautifully renovated and always clean. I would have liked instant coffee to make myself, in addition to tea. The mattress and pillow were good, but there was only one large duvet (difficult for two people). The bathroom was well-lit (indirectly) and the shower was a good size. I would have liked a shelf in the shower. The view from the breakfast room is sensational! The Italian white bread isn't my taste; I would have preferred the whole-wheat baguette from the restaurant for a change. Alternating between the cured ham and the delicious salami from the restaurant would have been nice, too. Antonella prepares every hot drink fresh, along with various egg dishes and a delicious apple and carrot juice on request. Delicious. The food in the restaurant is truly high quality, but also expensive. In my opinion, however, the price for the cheese clock and the vegetarian lasagna is excessive. The hotel is located high up on the mountain, so you always have to drive to the lake. This is something to keep in mind for the evenings. Nevertheless, we would absolutely recommend the hotel.

24/10/2025: I've been going to Gambero since I was a child, it's hard to find a restaurant like it... super accurate and super attentive service. Dishes that in my opinion have never changed in terms of goodness and taste in 20 years. I grew up with their asparagus risotto! Truly incredible, every dish releases a taste in the mouth that is very difficult to imitate! The service leaves you speechless with how professional they are and how attentive they are to your every move without being seen or invading your path, whether it's lunch or dinner. What can I say, I know, it's home game, but this is an experience to try over and over again!!!

02/11/2025: I returned to La Trota to celebrate a birthday, and for me it remains the best restaurant in Rieti, where you don't just go for the food but for a true sensory experience. The dishes are sublime in flavor. The autumn dessert of persimmons, chestnuts, and coffee meringues was truly exceptional. Definitely worth a try.

31/10/2025: A truly wonderful experience at the Cavallini Restaurant in San Severino! As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the care and attention to every detail: an elegant yet welcoming space, a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and extremely kind staff, always available with a smile. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: carefully crafted, beautifully presented, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each course speaks to the chef's passion and expertise. The fish cappellacci are truly unique—delicate, balanced, and bursting with flavor… truly a dish worthy of applause, a small masterpiece that alone is worth the visit. The other dishes also stand out for their flavor and originality, with always spot-on pairings. My only personal complaint concerns the champagne risotto, which I found a bit too intense in flavor: for my taste, the champagne slightly overpowered the other aromas. That said, it's still a well-executed dish and a testament to the kitchen's desire to experiment. Service is fast, attentive, but never intrusive. The portions are just right, the timing between courses is perfect, and the prices are absolutely in line with the quality. It's one of those places where you eat truly well and leave feeling completely satisfied, wanting to return. Highly recommended for those seeking high-end cuisine, without too much formality but with lots of passion and authentic flavor.

10/11/2025: This was our second stay at Il Borgo but it won't be the last. The staff, from top to bottom, are dedicated to their jobs and you can tell they love working there. The wait and kitchen staff at La Taverna and La Sala dei Grappoli are true professionals. We enjoyed one meal at each and both were the highlights of our visit. We will happily make reservations next spring when we have our annual spring trip to Toscana. Keep up the great work!

01/11/2025: Our stay at Castello Banfi was the one the best vacation experiences. The staff was excellent and just the best. We loved every minute of our stay at Castello Banfi. La Taverna was amazing, the food excellent. We will do everything we can to stay again.

11/11/2025: Excellent food, excellent service, refined atmosphere. Not your average restaurant; you come here if you want to try specialty dishes. Prices are generally high, although we took advantage of a special menu, 10.10.10, which allowed us to try 10 different dishes at a reasonable price.

06/11/2025: I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant last night... A culinary journey that was nothing short of incredible, each course was meticulously described, every detail was meticulously crafted. The food was of the highest quality. The service was excellent, attentive to every need... I highly recommend it.
