11/05/2025: Historic Monferrato restaurant (among the oldest in the area, opened in 1965), it is a place very dear to me. I went there with my family already 45 years ago. Historically run by the Ferrero family, it offers excellent local cuisine in a simple but elegant and refined setting.

15/06/2025: Amerigo is always a guarantee, I have eaten here several times and the winning combination of traditional dishes and excellent quality ingredients is always confirmed. They only work with local producers, both for food products and wine, and as a worker in the wine sector I am always very happy to find a wine list composed only of medium-small companies in the area. The bill is also excellent. Highly recommended

29/04/2025: The food is really good and the environment is very accessible with a fabulous sea view. The only flaw is the staff. To be changed immediately. We went on Saturday for a ceremony and it's really a shame to see the preparation work disappear due to terrible waiter service. I understand the restaurant manager's justifications because there was sudden rain and it wasn't possible to have an aperitif outside but the waiters who take the appetizer back to the kitchen without serving it to everyone cannot be seen. They almost made me feel embarrassed for asking for what I was entitled to. If I ever held a ceremony in this venue I would definitely bring the staff unless they have already been sent away

16/05/2025: Excellent dinner with my partner, Mrs. Lorena puts you at ease with her professionalism and friendliness.. the dishes are one better than the other, the ravioli al plin and the lamb with artichokes are amazing, not to mention the egg poche' with asparagus, all accompanied by an excellent lagrein. 20/05/2025: There is no doubt that going to a restaurant like this has high expectations The location is five stars, or even more The staff is kind and attentive just right, without being too pushy, but always present. The sommelier was the person who fascinated me the most, passionate, competent, with a touch of lightness and a strong personality: compliments Mise en Place light and elegant at the same time (the chairs are too low for the tables though) Bread, focaccia and oil (of their own production) very good The fish products are not of great value, apart from the caught sea bream, the rest, bonito, cuttlefish, white shrimp.. but this does not mean anything, in fact the bonito was the best dish... The presentation of the dishes... Beautiful but not fantastic. The cuisine The famous Adriá olive, too thick but I really appreciated the inside. The other small insignificant entrees Good sea bream carpaccio: period. Instead, the Pernambuco with gin, brought in combination, was worthy of a wow Bonito, as already said, perhaps the best dish or rather, it could not have been cooked better and also the combination was definitely spot on, the garlic mayonnaise, perfect consistency, balanced flavor, special dandelion. Red mullet with ciupin... No wow... The ciupin combined with the red mullet was very pleasant, if tasted alone, it had a hint of sweetness too much. The cuttlefish was nothing special, I would say delicate, but in reality it had little flavor and the sauce was too strong. Worthy of note instead was the revisited buridda!! Great idea and also very good The pasta: a good product, but here too no wow... Also because white shrimp are not really "pasta" The cod with a flavor too strong The rabbit... Alas, the rabbit!! Out of respect for the chef, I'll just say the rabbit, alas. The cute and pleasant dessert and that's it. In the context, it didn't live up to expectations. But.... There's a but... Everything I tasted of vegetables was instead special, both as a product and as a chef and I think I would have been much more satisfied if I had chosen the garden menu, and if I were to return I would definitely choose that one.. I gave three stars to the cuisine, not because it is an absolute three star, but evaluating as always the whole context I'm almost sure that with the other menu my vote would have been higher...

02/05/2025: Exceptional experience in this starred restaurant. Impeccable service, attention to every detail. Refined food, with the right and balanced portions. Ingredients linked to the territory expertly combined with fine national wines. Advised.

31/05/2025: What a wonderful and incredible experience. The food was divine. And the service - nothing short of enchanting. I am so blown away by this beautiful restaurant. The hospitality was the best I experienced so far in all of Italy. The food, the wine, everything was magical. Not enough beautiful things to say about this wonderful place. We were seated in the balcony overseeing the piazza - book this experience for sure. What a magical evening. Grazie mille per l’esperienza!!!

05/05/2025: Già sotto l'Arco è un ristorante di altissimo livello, e lo è da sempre, con Teresa chef e Teodosio in sala, padroni di casa formidabili, una cucina di territorio nel miglior significato del termine, sempre aggiornata e semplicemente, BUONA! Un ristorante che mostra la Puglia al suo meglio, ed una scelta obbligata per chi viene in regione

08/06/2025: What can one say?  Our group was led on a culinary journey we won’t soon forget by true masters of service and cuisine.   Do yourself a favour and leave your expectations outside.  Contraste is worthy of your full trust. Buy the ticket and take the ride!
