13/06/2026: Very typical place, very good food. The lemon mousse was incredible! The owner was really kind and helpful.

08/05/2026: The owner is extremely professional and friendly. A quiet little corner in the city center where you can relax, accompanied by good music, exquisite dishes and beers, as well as an impressive selection of whiskies.

16/05/2026: The tiramisu was to die for, the coffee is their own blend and was unbelievable. The place is so pretty, definetely a must if you are looking for a cafe in Trieste. The service was nice however very slow and they were missing a lot of cakes on their menu.

04/06/2026: Very good pizza, shame they serve water in plastic bottles like at kebab shops, homemade dessert is not up to par at all €7 for a small portion of mille-feuille, cream tastes like nothing, avoid

03/06/2026: The pizzas are fantastic. And the variety of options is gourmet. The restaurant menu is also very good. Outdoor seating is available in the summer. Highly recommended.

15/05/2026: Very friendly staff,great service and some of the most delicious food I have eaten.

10/05/2026: The man who served us was kind and explained everything very well to us even though we didn't speak Italian. The atmosphere was cheerful and homely. There isn't much seating so be prepared to stand, don't let that put you off this place as it adds a special charm and atmosphere. The price is very fair and the food is delicious, something for everyone. There are also numerous wine and drink options.

08/05/2026: Finally found a gem again! A very charming restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. The food was fresh and flavorful, absolutely top-notch! I highly recommend the goulash! Tender and delicious!! And plenty of fresh toasted bread! I'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: A well-designed and welcoming restaurant. Outside, there are three or four tables facing the entrance on Via della Madonnina, but inside, thanks to the well-arranged seating, it feels larger than it actually is. Service is efficient, and the kitchen is very quick in preparing dishes. The quality of both the meat and vegetables is excellent, and for a Serbian restaurant, the portions are larger than at other places. Need a little tip? Try the ajvar with any cut of meat; you won't regret it.

04/05/2026: We stopped by on Sunday for lunch, having made a reservation. The road to get there is very narrow, and parking is difficult to find. The restaurant has remained unchanged since our last visit. The service is very good, with knowledgeable staff who can offer advice. The quality of the fish is excellent, but in my humble opinion, it's a bit pricey. You can expect to spend between €50 and €80. But it's in proportion to what you get.

19/04/2026: ...a quick, light meal before an afternoon engagement in the area, which we were led to by chance by a third party's recommendation... A very well-maintained, welcoming place, with a refined, yet unobtrusive, menu. Unique and well-chosen combinations of ingredients. Research and attention to detail...Very positive.

02/05/2026: "Decent" food, basic service, and a typical buffet atmosphere. Buffets are becoming extinct, but there are better ones out there.

Yesterday we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary, reconfirming this choice, and it was a dream come true. We received a wonderful welcome from the great Ivan and enjoyed a fantastic lunch in every way; first-rate quality, a variety to please every palate, admirable creativity and professionalism, attention to every detail of the service, and a knowledgeable, courteous, and elegant staff. In conclusion, we said to ourselves, "DA NANDO IN MORTEGLIANO" IS AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN NUMBER 1! 20/04/2026: A very nice hotel, great rooms, and excellent hosts. Be sure to reserve a table at the trattoria and enjoy the incredibly delicious menu. Excellent service.
