22/06/2025: It's been a few months since our last visit, but even if late, we wanted to compliment the girl who takes care of the reception and manages the room: very young, but really professional and prepared, hold on to her! Also worth mentioning is the quality of the suites and the cuisine, we will definitely return for a new stopover on our travels to the south.

15/06/2025: The place is very characteristic in the center of the town, to get there a little difficult you have to walk a bit, the food very delicate but very good, compliments to the chef, the service more than positive, the meter very expert in displaying the dishes and very joking, more than positive as a first experience, I can not indicate the price as I was at a birthday party, but for what we ate I think it can easily exceed 50.00 euros per person, but it is worth it, since you eat very well.

07/06/2025: Unique atmosphere and cuisine that conquers La Taverna del Castello is a true pearl in the heart of Vico nel Lazio. Situated in a suggestive position, at the foot of the castle, it offers a warm, rustic and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. The menu is a tribute to traditional Ciociaria cuisine, with dishes prepared with genuine ingredients and generous portions. From homemade first courses - such as fettuccine with porcini mushrooms or wild boar ragù - to grilled second courses, each course is rich in flavor and care. The selection of appetizers is also excellent, with local cured meats and cheeses, seasonal vegetables and homemade treats. The desserts, strictly homemade, end the meal in style. The service is courteous, fast and attentive, and the prices are fair compared to the quality offered. A highly recommended experience for those who want to eat well in a historic and welcoming context. A tavern with a soul, where tradition and passion meet at the table.

10/06/2025: A very authentic Italian dining experience. Very welcoming, attentive staff. The owner greets all his guests with a friendly smile and handshake. The food was excellent and very well priced. Highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in that neck of the woods.

26/05/2025: We stopped with the kids to go to MagicLand the next day. We had a great time, the location is really well kept and well equipped with quality structural supplies and furniture. A special mention for all the wooden works, from the windows to the fixtures such as doors, the chairs and tables of the restaurant, the exposed beams, the furniture. Even the greenery is very well kept. We spent a night with perfect silence, sleeping very well, woken up by a rooster and the birds. For those who are used to the city this is a dream. The restaurant is delicious in all the courses, an informal but accurate and courteous service. Upon departure we took away many products including wine and oil. Excellent experience.

L'accoglienza e la gentilezza sono solo alcune delle caratteristiche di questo locale, del quale abbiamo apprezzato molto anche l'attenzione al senza glutine. Piatti originali e cucinati sapientemente, con porzioni giuste. Ottimo il rapporto qualità - prezzo. Chi si trova in zona è consigliato

05/07/2025: We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant last night. An evening with friends made exceptional by the service, the friendliness of the owner and the excellent quality of the products! Value for money 10 out of 10!!! We will return because you deserve it!

15/05/2025: Quiet, intimate, well-run place. I really liked this tavern in the village of Casalvieri in many ways. I give 10 cum laude to the appetizer I had called Vignarola: a mix of artichoke wedges, asparagus and courgettes, I think browned in a pan, with the addition of mint leaves for a taste and aroma that is now unusual to find, unless the meal is prepared in our homes. Followed by roast chicken with potatoes made as at home and a side of cooked wild vegetables. All very good and well cooked.

29/04/2025: Noticeable difference, when Luca was there he was excellent, now with the new managers his level has dropped. Even on Easter Monday we couldn't have coffee because the "powder", that is, the coffee, as reported by the manager, ran out.

13/06/2025: We spent our anniversary dinner here and were pampered by the staff, all very attentive to service: helpful and very knowledgeable especially in their knowledge of the wine cellar (exceptional). Exquisite food: we were impressed by the chicory tempura (brilliant!) and the ravioli of the day with duck filling... a gem in the heart of the historic center of Ferentino
