29/03/2025: We went to this tavern for the first time to eat at lunchtime at a fixed price, the dishes are of good quality but the portions are slightly small, the side dishes that I thought were a buffet are served at the table, even here three onions as a side dish seems really little to me; the quality of the wine and coffee is good, the service is also very fast, it seems like they want to close quickly; the chef is very available for dishes that you don't like; I was thinking of spending a little less, for 15 euros you can find better in the area....,.,...... ..................................given the piqued responses to the unwelcome comments, it's clear what kind of character is behind it, if you then threaten customers with a lawsuit we've hit rock bottom, after all you have to pass the coin for what it's worth! The photo is of the vegetable buffet that you can take as much as you want, always spending 15 euros like at your place.................Dishonest person who writes, they won't delete part of the comment and not even the threat of a lawsuit, shame on you......this way you're only shooting yourself in the foot!

23/12/2024: What can I say…. Simply perfect. You can eat very well in a very elegant and refined environment. Excellent pizza, excellent meat, excellent value for money and excellent service. In Alba you can eat well everywhere, but I can say that here they are particularly good. Congratulations, absolutely recommended.

03/02/2025: I had the chance to stop by this place on a Sunday on my way back from a walk in Bassano del Grappa, intrigued by the words "home cooking" which I appreciate very much. As soon as I entered, a very kind lady asked me to wait until they had prepared the table for me and in the meantime, chatting with her a bit, I was attracted by a plate of meatballs displayed in the window. By having them give me one to while away the wait, I was immediately able to rediscover flavors that unlocked my memories. Meatballs made as tradition dictates and as I am used to making at home (if you want the recipe, write to me privately :-D), finding the same flavors that immediately prepared me to savor the dishes that would be served to me. Simple cuisine with ancient flavours: mushroom pie and boiled beef and cotechino, accompanied by the inevitable horseradish. All prepared with expert care, very tender and quality beef (due to the presence of a nice intrusion of gelatine it resembled scapino). Mashed potatoes where you can really feel the flavor of the potato, good wine, homemade desserts, coffee and friendliness made this meal particularly appreciated. I highly recommend giving it a try! P.S.: keep in mind that during the week at lunch you will find the fixed price menu.

12/04/2025: We had dinner a few nights ago, and it's always a guarantee. The fried egg was fantastic, the yolk exploded as soon as it was cut in two. The white asparagus was delicious, delicate and tasty and the foie gras with renette apples shaded in port was simply a dream of flavors and softness. The handmade tagliolini 42 yolks with white asparagus and aged ricotta were excellent. The lonzino tonnato was also good, a note of merit because it was seasoned with its own stock in addition to the tuna sauce and an excellent extra virgin olive oil. Basically, you can see a search for excellent raw materials. We drank a bottle of Selosse Initial champagne, tempted by the very extensive wine list with a lot of research and at super affordable prices. Friendly and easy-going service, let them advise you on your choices, they will be able to guide you with a lot of passion. We will return for both the food and the wine! Highly recommended

23/03/2025: La Sosta restaurant was a pleasant discovery, far from the chaos of the center. The atmosphere is intimate and attention to detail, but the real strong point is undoubtedly the cuisine. We started with two crostoni: one with snails and the other with creamed cod and onions, both exquisite. Next, two first courses: a lasagna and gnocchi with fish ragù and cod, both delicious. To conclude, a delicious black cherry cheesecake.

19/03/2025: I almost have to think about where to start with this review. As a retired chef with a bounty of culinary experience, I was not too happy with this establishment. I have been passing this restaurant for the past six years and have always wanted to stop to see what they offered as opposed to the competition down the street. So I finally decided to make a decision to visit the restaurant. On the inside, the establishment is beautiful very well decorated gives a really good atmosphere for a first date or a place to go and chill. Have drinks with colleagues. The wait time was a little slow only because this was on a Tuesday and not many people go out to eat during the middle of the week . The staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs. I ordered my food and drinks after waiting 10 to 12 minutes. I ordered a margarita with the enchiladas. The drink was good nothing to complain about there, but the enchilada platter was something of a nightmare. The enchiladas did not have any flavor nor did the enchiladas have enough sauce on them as you will see which traditional enchiladas. Also, I was not very happy about the sliced american cheese that you would put on a hamburger to be on my enchiladas. The Spanish rice was OK and the black beans were super dry. I did not receive any lettuce, tomatoes, and onion to go with my enchilada, which I will call sacrilegious because that combination always goes together based on my experience. Looking at the dynamics of this restaurant, it almost baffles me as to how they have been able to stay open for so long representing a cuisine that from my plate seems there is a lack of experience in the kitchen as well as level of responsibility from the owner to maintain the tradition of Mexican cuisine . If you choose to go to this place, please do not get your hopes too high.

02/03/2025: Small restaurant but with a typical Mexican setting with very good and simple dishes as required by Mexican culture, excellent cocktails also recommended for eating, a little less the wines... I also recommend it for the very cheap price compared to others in the area with menus that have little to do with Mexican cuisine...

16/01/2025: For those who like US-style pizza this place is perfect! Special green peppers, finally sliced ​​black olives and many other ingredients are as found in the USA. I like it very much!
