I went to Ristorante La Pausa and the experience was truly special. The atmosphere is welcoming, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The dishes are prepared with great care: balanced flavors, quality ingredients, and presentations that are inviting from the first glance.
The best part, however, was the owner's attentiveness. At the end of the dinner, she gave me a completely unexpected surprise, a kind gesture that made the evening even more enjoyable and demonstrates how much passion she puts into her work and into taking care of her customers.
A restaurant that makes you feel truly welcome. I'll definitely be back! 🍽✨
15/10/2025: We just ate there. Typical Neapolitan pizza, superb spaghetti with clams, and delicious wine. Everything was very good and at a fair price. Top-notch service and a dedicated chef.

22/07/2025: Ho mangiato 2 pranzi ottimi, con ingredienti freschi e ottimi. Ho gustato per la prima volta il baccalà alla vicentina con polenta: a dir poco strpitoso. Buonissime le torte. Inoltre il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile. Si prende cure di ogni cliente.

03/08/2025: I've been to much more prestigious and expensive places that weren't as good as this one!! First of all, the service was exceptional, the prices were really fair, and above all, the food was simple but good, without having a thousand things on the menu :) I recommend the takoyaki. Perhaps the only criticism I'd make of the chef is that the katsudon-style chicken bowl doesn't fit much sushi-style rice, which is too sticky.

07/11/2025: Once again, after giving them multiple chances, they lied to me. They tell you a time, but it's never the right one. They'll be half an hour late, which is laughable, and then, while you're waiting at the restaurant, they'll continue to tell you that the pizzas are almost ready. I felt like they were being taken for a ride, and I repeat, it has happened to me not once, but several times. It's a shame because the pizza was actually good.

“My experience at KFC was disappointing. In addition to the long wait and the poorly organized service, they didn't bring straws or napkins to our table, even though we'd ordered for five people. Furthermore, we were given a free piadina, which was listed on the sheet as being usable immediately and valid for seven days. When we tried to redeem it at the cashier, however, we were told it would only be valid the following day, creating further inconvenience. Overall, service was inattentive and unclear. I really hope they improve, because I wouldn't return.”

13/06/2025: I've only been there twice, so that's too short a time to judge, but I'm optimistic that if I return, I'll find the same atmosphere I loved, especially the blonde barista who's incredibly quick with her work and does a great job. The clientele is made up of local workers, some of whom I know personally because they've made history in the area.
