Visiting Villa Valmarana from Verona, we were greeted warmly and extremely helpfully by the owner, who, in addition to entertaining us amiably at our table, delighted us with a selection of cicchetti (the meatballs were sublime!!!). It was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise to discover that there are still people who care and respect the tradition of an authentic "old tavern," which, sadly, has been lost in my city.

10/05/2026: The place was incredibly welcoming, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was very, very good, and the price was perfectly in line with the quality of what we ate. For Mother's Day, they provided music, a photo booth, and even offered everyone a sombrero. At the end of the meal, they gave a rose to every mother in the restaurant. I recommend lunch or dinner at this restaurant, which I think is superb because the food is so obviously handmade and made with so much care.
