21/07/2024: We ate a spaghetti with seafood which had 3 small fish on it and brought to the table after 4 minutes so I presume also pre-cooked, a spaghetti with clams which looked as if the shriveled molluscs were in a jar. It's been a long time since we went there, I'm sorry because the service was very courteous, the wine was good, but we weren't satisfied with what we ate,

23/08/2024: We chose this place to eat a pizza but when ordering they told us that they didn't make them because they no longer had pasta, so we ordered from the restaurant menu. At the checkout we kindly asked if they could give us a small discount given the inconvenience, the very kind cashier called us the manager and she told us that when ordering we could choose to leave instead of staying anyway. Be careful because you could make a bad impression on your guests.

28/08/2024: Location estremamente bella e suggestiva, mangiare su una palafitta praticamente NEL mare non ha prezzo. Pesce più che fresco, in quanto pescato quasi in diretta e messo nel piatto nell'immediato. In tutto questo il gestore è molto particolare, bisogna saperlo prendere in quanto in determinate occasioni puo' risultare molto scorbutico e nervoso con chi arriva in ritardo o nota atteggiamenti che lo irritano. Con noi è stato gentile, sia nel dare indicazioni per il parcheggio, sia su consigliarci il cibo e venire incontro alle nostre esigenze ma abbiamo assitito a un paio di scene piuttosto imbarazzanti nei confronti di un gruppo di ragazzi e ragazze arrivati in ritardo con una ragazza vestita tipo da "sposa" (forse un addio al nubilato o qualcosa di simile) presi a male parole. Questo non si fa. In ogni caso ci torneremo volentieri perchè il posto merita.

28/08/2024: Cibo di discreta qualità, ma non vale la pena per la maleducazione e l'atteggiamento scorbutico del proprietario in quanto se innervosito provvederà a trattare il cliente male, mancando di rispetto e facendoti passare una brutta serata. A parer mio la gentilezza dei camerieri è uno dei primi requisiti per chi lavora nella ristorazione, a maggior ragione se si è il proprietario. Se non si è in grado di saper gestire lo stress di un determinato lavoro si può tranquillamente cambiare.

09/08/2024: Unfortunately the food wasn't really that good. The pizza resembled a ready-made pizza with a little more ham. The carbonara was okay - unfortunately only sample portions. (15€)!

09/08/2024: The restaurant looked generally good from the outside, but the whole hearts were a bit exaggerated. Pizza Prosciutto and Spaghetti Carbonara were ordered. - The Prosciutto pizza tasted okay, but had the appearance of a frozen pizza. But 10€ for a pizza was ok. - The spaghetti carbonara was not listed on the menu and the portion was extremely small. 15€ per portion was a huge impudence! The glasses were all dirty and we had to drink the Coke from the cans. All in all, it had an extremely “bitter aftertaste” and we definitely won’t eat here again. Afterwards it was thought to be a tourist trap. 3 x Cola, 2 x Speghetti Carbonara and 1 x Pizza Prosciutto for 55€!!!

14/08/2024: Happy to frequent this beach establishment for many years. Nice and very kind staff. Once upon a time we even came there on the day, now as we get older it becomes a little more problematic. But when we have a little more time, we spend our days at the beach here. Big

19/05/2024: Let me start by saying that I gave the restaurant one star because I haven't been to the beach. Cesar salad €14 to have a few pieces of chicken and the rest just lettuce and some dry bread (of parmesan there were 4/5 tiny pieces and cut so thin as to be transparent - very little sauce, so much so that to finish I prepared a sauce with ketchup and mayonnaise). The salad bread basket was nothing special. Honestly, I expected more for €14... besides the fact that they charged €3.70 for water. And at the checkout they also replied annoyed when we asked if we could do separate accounts.

14/05/2024: Gorgeous bathroom, super staff, great food, beautiful little bar... I can't wait to go back. *** I also went back on Sunday, I'm from out of town....it's still my favorite place 😍

10/08/2024: Very well stocked pastry shop but the staff should be a little more polite.. I stopped in for a quick breakfast last Saturday, to my question 'do you also have sandwiches?' I heard them perhaps he replies in a dry and rude manner 'the grocery store is ahead'... I'm speechless because it's fine to have a good day - no - but it doesn't seem like the way to respond to a customer who has simply asked if it's an alternative to a sweet breakfast they also served savory food.. however the coffee was good and so was the brioche.. I'll consider whether to go back given the ways.

27/07/2024: Such a high opinion seems cloying and obvious, but given with good reason. Came in today, Saturday 27 July, at midday in the hope of finding a "last minute" cake: on the advice of the shop assistant I booked and purchased 2 meringue cakes, with the aim of bringing an all-round satisfaction to the party, one chocolate and one pistachio, to 12 guests. To have them ready, he advised me, and then confirmed on the phone, to come by in the afternoon to collect them. At 5pm the cakes were so popular that only a few crumbs were left on the plates. Pasticceria Nordio, the reference point in Sottomarina.

16/08/2024: Excellent pastry shop in the morning and excellent restaurant in the evening... The Flora pastry shop in the center of Chioggia was a surprise! In the evening the restaurant offers excellent fish dishes, taking inspiration from the nearby "Bacari" with cicchetti, or an excellent fish menu for connoisseur palates. I suggest the "cicchettone", a dish with mixed boiled meat and some fried food, with which you can taste all of Chioggio's cuisine!

10/08/2024: We were not guests in this restaurant. Our daughter had to go to the toilet and, after I asked politely in English, she was allowed to do so with clear resentment. When I went out I thanked him with a friendly grace, only to be greeted with an unfriendly prego. At the door I was then greeted with a mushy "Grazie" by an older lady who I hadn't noticed behind the counter. I didn't react to that. I always thought Italy was child-friendly!? Unfortunately not there and so I won't visit the location another time. You can understand that the employees are tired after a long day and 10.30 p.m. but this location also lives from tourism.

19/08/2023: From the photos on Google it seemed like a welcoming place with beautiful and refined dishes. Quite the opposite. Dull environment, inattentive and disorganized staff (we waited 20 minutes just to order and there were only us), menu with very little choice and poor quality of dishes. Also, prices too high for what they offer.

16/08/2023: Delusione perché non è più il ristorante che era ma non è proprio un ristorante … è una trattoria con un menu limitatissimo. Metabolizzato il cambio abbiamo ordinato quello che c’era giusto per mangiare qualcosa: non abbiamo capito se non sanno la differenza tra tagliolini e lasagne o pensano di prendere in giro…i cicchetti noi veneti sappiamo cosa sono …un’altra cosa. Per cortesia, non usate foto che non rispecchiano assolutamente!

01/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato due sere in questa locanda. Cibo ottimo e personale simpatico e gentile. Fritto e saor indimenticabili.

06/06/2024: Ho cenato una sera alla Locanda alla Frasca prendendo un primo e dell'Insalata. Qualità del cibo ottima e anche la location romantica e caratteristica (tavoli all'aperto ma riparati da una tettoia (c'è anche la possibilità di mangiare all'interno della locanda stessa ovviamente) Consigliato!

20/08/2024: The environment was okay. The menu included gnocchi with bacon and parmesan. My friend wanted them without bacon and that didn't seem to be a problem. I wanted to order them with bacon and the waiter said that wasn't possible. Either both with bacon or both without. He couldn't explain to us why this was so. The portions were relatively small. You could count the gnocchi on the plate on one hand. It wasn't filling at all and hardly tasted like anything. The gnocchi cost €15. The service was bad and unfriendly. It's absolutely not worth eating there.

20/08/2024: We had lunch here on August 16th. The restaurant opens onto the square, and eating outside is really pleasant, even in the August heat as there is a lot of shade. We ordered grilled turbot and spaghetti with clams which were really good. The service: professional and kind.

20/08/2024: I can't say anything about the food, but I can say a little about the service and kindness. We booked for 13 people, we arrive and they explain to us that they had to put us inside due to rain (and it fits) too bad there were 12 seats! They explained to us that they didn't have tables we could add and so we proposed to squeeze in. We order, the drink arrives in installments, after several reminders and rude responses from a waiter, everything finally arrives. The starters begin to arrive (not everyone had taken starters and a second course) and immediately after the second courses while some of us were still finishing the starter! My husband, who had only taken one course, arrived last when we had almost all already finished. We arrive at the cash register and ask for the advance bill and the lady already looks badly, we ask to divide the bill by 3 and she tells us that it was not possible that the sign was there. REAL shame that the sign said Saturday and Sunday no separate accounts and we went on WEDNESDAY! and we didn't spend much... Still good food but organization and kindness need to be improved and the air conditioning needs to be turned on
