25/06/2025: Excellent artisanal ice cream shop in a quiet area. The ice cream is very creamy and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is also a nice gazebo outside where you can sit and enjoy the ice cream. Easy and free parking nearby. Highly recommended for a fresh and quality break!

28/07/2025: We went for aperitivo at this recently renovated lounge bar. Delicious cocktails and a much more welcoming atmosphere than before. We were told they're also open for lunch with sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, and platters.

27/07/2025: Delivery was on time and I must say the pizzas were good. There were 10 of us and we were all very satisfied.

02/07/2025: I returned to this pizzeria after a few years and I have to say that they have really improved a lot. Good pizza, light and just the right thickness. Short waiting times and very friendly staff. I recommend it

13/11/2025: Overpriced guesthouse with no elevator and a broken phone the whole time! The bathroom with bidet was new and a decent size, but the rest of the furniture is very old, although the mattress was good. The guesthouse is very centrally located (Zaccaria boat station), and Andrea, one of the receptionists, is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast is served in the same dining room, but unfortunately, there's no variety. After four days, we would have liked a different cheese or ham, but "that's just how it is"! The service staff are also not great and seem to be working without much interest. We definitely won't be coming back!

21/04/2025: Buona la location, ma sconsigliato in giorni festivi. Un'ora e mezza per avere un panino con salsiccia ed un toast. Capisco che sia il giorno di Pasquetta, ma non ci sono i presupposti per un'attesa di queste proporzioni. Un consiglio ai gestori: ORGANIZZATEVI!!!!!

05/11/2025: We stayed at Villa Mocenigo for All Saints' Day with friends, to visit Venice and the surrounding area. The exterior was a bit neglected, especially during the off-season. The room was nice, but the essentials were a bit small, and the bathroom was large and well-equipped. Breakfast was a bit sparse; the products (jams, toast, yogurt, and butter) were all supermarket-quality, not very salty. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I think it would be fine for a few days; good value.

20/10/2025: Everything was excellent, including the restaurant.

24/10/2025: The prices of the pastries were high. I found a guy who, as I heard, I think was the owner's son. He spoke in a way that took away your desire to buy, no friendliness, I couldn't wait to leave, never again.

09/08/2025: A pleasant surprise...coffee for 1 euro! We stopped by by chance and I still can't believe it...well done!

23/09/2025: After a long day of exploring Venice we had dinner at L’Osteria San Barnaba. We arrived late for our reservation, but the staff welcomed us warmly and never rushed us. I ordered the cuttlefish ink pasta, and it was extraordinary. The sauce clung to the noodles like velvet, rich and briny with the taste of the sea, faintly metallic in the best way. It even stained my tongue and fingers as I used bread to wipe up the last drops. My wife chose the homemade gnocchi in spider crab sauce, pillowy-soft dumplings bathed in a silky, flavorful sauce that she called some of the best gnocchi she’s ever had. We were there late into the night with glasses of Fratelli Brunello grappa, comparing tasting notes and enjoying the staff’s patience with my horrible Italian. Our server even smiled through my slow, deliberate attempt at a full sentence, encouraging me as if to say, “You’ve got this.” We laughed and made friends with a French couple at the next table, clinked glasses, and ended the night with a shared toast of limoncello. L’Osteria San Barnaba is the kind of place where food, wine, and warmth all come together. From the extraordinary pasta to the genuine hospitality, it’s a dinner we’ll be talking about for years.

22/09/2025: Very cosy, not too big, excellent vibes. Outside of mega tourist territory, but it's small enough that it doesn't feel touristy either way. Very coeliac friendly with very understanding staff. Gluten free pizza was decent by Italian standards and the best you've ever had by UK standards. Very affordable, good Aperol. Normal pizza was decent.

18/10/2025: Extremely friendly, even warm, and very accommodating service! A super nice team was fully committed! We felt very comfortable, and the food was excellent! I had barely ordered the pizza when, to my surprise, it was served. Shortly afterward, the spicy dish for my wife arrived. Even the boss was there and chatted with us in German. To finish off, a double portion of delicious dessert... We are so happy we received this tip at our accommodation. The 8-kilometer drive in the evening after a rather exhausting day was truly worth it! Good luck in the future! Gerald & Franciska

12/10/2025: A very nice place in the summer, with a lovely outdoor square. Excellent desserts and pastries for all occasions, especially breakfast. The service is excellent.

02/05/2025: Una pasticceria storica stupenda ma con il personale altamente maleducato che preferisce i clienti amici ai clienti non amici. Eravamo già dentro in attesa di un saluto e di un 'prego cosa desiderate' che sono entrati altri clienti quindi dopo di noi con i quali, la signora, ha iniziato ad interagire scherzando e ciaccolando oltre che a servirli prima di noi che eravamo li come dei fantasmi. Una maleducazione ed un servizio pessimo, sicuramente non ci vedrete e vi aiuterò con la pubblicità.

02/11/2025: Unfriendly service. The waitress only smile to local people, as to foreigners, always a annoyed face. No one would pay for your bad behavior.

01/11/2025: REALLY RUDE AND TOURIST UNWELCOME! I’m not sure if the lady owner or waitress was being racist, but from the moment we walked in, she completely ignored us. We stood in the middle of the restaurant for quite a while — even the other diners noticed and tried to help us. When we finally got a table and were ready to order, she still refused to acknowledge us and told us to wait. What made it worse was that she was very warm and friendly toward the local customers, smiling and serving them promptly. But every time we tried to order, she looked annoyed and told us to wait again. We came to the restaurant to enjoy a meal, not to be treated poorly. Her behavior was extremely rude and disrespectful!

14/09/2025: I spent €61 for four pizzas and a beer to go. An exorbitant amount, which one would expect to be justified by the quality and attention to detail. Instead, the pizzas were burnt, poorly prepared, and delivered 30 minutes after the agreed-upon time. The only positive note was the beer, which was actually pleasant... but at €17 for a 750ml, I'd say the satisfaction was more of a duty than a merit. Overall, a disappointing experience, lacking a balance between price, quality, and service. Definitely not a place I'll be happy to return to.
