Nice small place with good food and good service!

I stopped at this restaurant by chance, and I was truly fortunate. The food is delicious, representing Venetian tradition. The staff is kind, helpful, and incredibly friendly. It's a welcoming place where I spent a wonderful evening. If you're passing by, I recommend trying the mascarpone biscuits for dessert... delicious!

We had lunch at this splendid Venetian Bacaro and Restaurant in the San Polo district of Venice (one of the most authentic in the city) and the experience was impeccable. We were looking for a place away from the typical tourist routes and found an intimate setting, with just a few tables and a warm atmosphere, typical of old lagoon inns. The Food: The quality of the ingredients is astonishing. We started with a mix of Venetian cicchetti (the sarde in saor, a must-try, perfectly balanced between sweet and sour) and creamed cod. For our first course, the bigoli in Venetian sauce were rich in flavor, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. You could tell the fish arrives fresh every day. The Service: The staff was extremely welcoming and professional. They guided us in choosing the wine, recommending an excellent local white that paired divinely with the fish dishes. Despite the restaurant being busy, the wait times were reasonable, and we never felt rushed. Value for Money: Absolutely Honest for the quality offered. In Venice, it's easy to fall into tourist traps, but here every euro spent is justified by the freshness of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation. Tip: Reservations are practically mandatory given the limited seating. If you want to experience authentic Venetian dining, this is the place to be.

Positive experience. Cute and intimate place. A nice place to have lunch and escape the hustle and bustle of Venice, compared to the usual restaurants. The dishes were tasty and the service was excellent.
