Caffe Del Doge In Venezia

Nice croissant but rude service

WOW. This coffee addict needed his fix. We asked an Italian street merchant where to find a local coffee shop in Venice (despite being close to Rialto Bridge). He recommended Caffe del Doge and we are lucky we asked. Super friendly staff and probably the best coffee ever (I ordered TWO double lattes) and wound up buying capsules as well!! After I savored a phenomenal pistachio croissant, our wonderful server Alicia recommended a Pinza sandwich (made by Francesca) and their house made Tiramisu (made by Daniella). We are coming back tomorrow!!!!! What a great example of Venice hospitality.

Delicious tiramisu, great espresso but it is expensive

Minutes from the Rialto Bridge, this quiet cafe tucked away in a side alley offers some of the best cappuccinos, desserts, and savory snacks. Mostly locals and few if any tourists. Service is friendly and they always help you pick out the best dessert. Im a coffee afdicianado and their coffee is some of the best I’ve had.

Perfect for a break from the noise and with a quality coffee

We stayed near to The Cafe. Excellent coffee and tasty pastry&sandwich. The staff is nice and speak english. I recommend it.
