24/06/2026: Friendly, helpful, and fast service. Very clean and simple atmosphere. Very good quality and balanced portions. Years go by, and in my opinion, it remains one of the best AYCE restaurants in the area, with excellent ingredients and impeccable service.

11/07/2026: I WOULD SAY SPATTACOLARE is our favorite place, quiet and relaxing, both the kiosk and the establishment, the food is divine, in the evening you can also book a table and the food is divine, among other things, very kind and prepared staff and a heartfelt compliment to Pamela, she always follows us and advises excellently.

The service was impeccable, attentive, and friendly. A special thanks to Dionigi, the owner, for his helpfulness, kindness, and for making us feel right at home. You can sense the passion he puts into his work. Definitely a restaurant we'll return to and one I highly recommend!

14/05/2026: Excellent bottled wine (a convincing still white), accompanied by irresistible snacks. Excellent toasted sandwiches, particularly rich and appetizing. Outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Campo San Stin, bustling with children; inside, the tables are a bit cramped, Venetian-style, but accessible. Friendly staff.

06/08/2026: Great restaurant! The carbonara pasta was amazing (9 euros)... the langoustine pasta (15 euros) was a real treat! The beef with parmesan shavings and arugula was a huge portion and absolutely delicious (18 euros). The staff was incredibly attentive. The decor was fantastic. Spotlessly clean. I highly recommend it! Very reasonably priced.

10/07/2026: I had a pizza called Sud, swapping the mozzarella for cold buffalo mozzarella. It was really good, thin crust just the way I like it, and it was accompanied by a red beer. My friends were also satisfied. For four, plus a coffee and a whiskey, it was only €78! Honest and very kind. We'll definitely be back. 👍

15/06/2026: We were looking for family style dining and steak and this was the perfect place for that. We were accommodated on the street beside the canal quickly and enjoyed our meal emmensely on our last night on Venice.

14/06/2026: The best bistecca alla Fiorentina I had in Italy. A generous portion, perfectly grilled and served on a large wooden board with plenty of crispy fries and grilled vegetables. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked beautifully — a truly memorable meal.

23/06/2026: What a discovery! It's a really small place, but you can still eat in or order takeout. Extremely efficient and clean! It only takes a few minutes. Truly excellent quality.

05/08/2026: We enthusiastically returned to this restaurant, which, except for last year, we happily visit when we're in Chioggia. Our expectations were dashed. The appetizers were good, but the linguine with three orgasms had an emulsion that was unpleasant and lacked balance. The mixed seafood grill was drowned in oil, and the tuna chunk was truly paltry compared to the rest. We ordered a sorbet; since it was my birthday dinner, we asked for a candle, which we would have put on ourselves, given the difficulty with the sorbet. They never brought us a lighter, claiming they had just started vaping. We could have just asked colleagues or the kitchen instead of ruining what had been nearly impeccable service until then. On the way out, we learned that they had won the four-restaurant contest, as there's a winners' symbol near the entrance. This likely led to a price increase that isn't justified given the lack of amenities necessary to afford such prices. I'm sorry I didn't find the simplicity that made this place unique. I was disappointed when the owner, sitting at dinner, scolded the staff (with the restaurant full) for not properly serving the only table they should be serving, hers and her friends. It left a feeling of unease, given that for the €200 we spent for two, even the average customer should be considered important.

31/07/2026: We arrived in Chioggia in the evening and it was drizzling lightly. While walking, we stopped to make a reservation at the Bacaro, Baia dei Porci. Excellent food and a professional welcome, with Cristina, who lent me one of her shawl jackets, and the very young Simone, who supported us and put up with our requests all evening, always with a smile! If you're passing through Chioggia and want to eat excellent, super-fresh fish...highly recommended! Ombretta and Ivan

03/07/2026: Beautiful place, friendly staff, albeit a bit distracted (they forgot water and bread). Overall, the fish was good, but the only thing that was great about the appetizer was the price (36 euros!) and the scallops weren't attached to their shells. The pasta seemed homemade, but it lacked a bit of flavor, and it was still expensive for the quantity. For 20 euros, I expect a full portion, not a half portion. Overall, the quality/price ratio is too unbalanced, I'm sorry.

14/07/2026: Very bad, the manager was slandering the other staff, even being rude about them. The pizza was terrible, rubbery, funghi - sour mushrooms from a can, spaghetti carbonara over-peppered, instead of bacon/veal, cheap ham cut into huge cubes, a battered plate on several sides. The caprese was laughable - one tomato and mozzarella cut into pieces, a sprig of basil thrown on top. Decoration with artificial wreaths, each one different. I don't understand the great reviews here.
