Ristorante Rosa Rossa In Venezia

My husband and I arrived to Venice and our hotel concierge high recommended this restaurant. I have a seafood allergy and they informed us the restaurant would take care of me. I told the waiter and she ensured all safe measures were taken. If you go to this restaurant PLEASE get the multiple course dinner because it was truly an amazing experience. I had the all meat option for the multiple course meal and my husband had combo land and sea. We both were just blown away by the quality and creativity displayed by the chef, please trust him HE KNOWS what he is doing! So amazing. We will be returning whenever we come back to Venice for the amazing food from here and amazing staff.

The setting and the staff are friendly but that's not all. Paying more than 60 euros per person and leaving a restaurant hungry is not great. 28 euros for a pasta dish with 8 ravioli is really exaggerated even if they are very good. The tiramisu at 13 euros is nothing exceptional.

Very romantic and unusual restaurant. Food is fantastic. Of course we took the tasting menu. 4 plates, once mixed and once meat. Excellent. one for that. Not quite cheap Amarone per glass 20 euros. but it's worth every sip. Service top. Another addendum to this review. Of course, we wanted to find a restaurant of the same standard again the following evening, but unfortunately we were unable to do so. We didn't exactly want to go to a Michelin either. That's why we went to Rosa Rossa again, but this time ordered a la carte. And of course we weren't disappointed. The portions are certainly not generous, but that was just fine for us as we don't like to eat a lot in the evening. There was no way we walked out hungry. And if you still don't have enough, you can order more. The wine recommendation that evening was great because we wanted to try a different wine than the fantastic Amarone. The boss recommended the Valpolicelle Ripasso to us. And again it was a very good recommendation. We really liked the wine too. From our point of view, this is a fantastic concept in the restaurant. Everything is very well cooked and of high quality at an acceptable price, a selection of very good wines by the glass, and yes they can cost a little more. It's better to pay 5 euros more for a glass of very good wine. This is definitely the right path and we wish the boss there much success on his path.

We were lucky to get in - thanks to our hotel concierge who made the reservation. The menu design is beautiful, that tells you the class of this place. They served food in small-plate style, a bite or two per dish if you are sharing. We ordered a mix vegetable (5 dishes) and a tasting menu (4 dishes). It’s surprisingly filling! Their bread is fresh and soft, with a hint of seeds, unlike other Italian restaurants that served fossilized bread-shaped rock. The tiramisu is light and aromatic, with dark cocoa that enriched the flavor. Wines were excellent too. We had a glass of young Barolo and a great-balanced Riesling. Overall we were very content and happy with our dining experience.

Wonderful local restaurant suggested by our AirBnB host. The pasta was fantastic and we had the turbot as our main which was really really good. Wonderful team style service. Charming ambience. As authentic Venice as can be imagined.

Great food and awesome service!

Family-run restaurant with very good food, cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. We preferred eating the wonderful homemade noodles. Of course, the jacket and dedication from Jonny Depp are also funny. In addition to Italian and English, people could also communicate in Spanish.

Siamo stati giovedì sera a cena, location molto intima e romantica nel cuore di Venezia, abbiamo optato per un giro di verdure clamorose grazie all'inventiva dello chef davvero molto gustose ed originali, per poi passare ai primi , buonissimo il bigolo sbagliato e fantastica la loro lasagna croccante rivisitata , secondi eccellenti abbiamo provato il filetto servito con della fonduta e l'anatra con salsa di mirtillo e a chiudere dei filetti di maiale con gambero di mazara...strepitosi ! In fine come dolce un ottimo panettone artigianale con crema e zabaione...tutto fantastico. Grazie allo chef che ad ogni portata è venuto al ns tavolo per spiegare piatti ed esecuzione fa sempre piacere! continuate cosi'...la stella puo' arrivare...

La patronne ultra efficace, entourée d’une équipe dévouée… son fils, jeune chef, est aux manettes et très créatif. Choix étendue du poulpe grillé sur purée de céleris, ou calamars 🦑 somptueux …mais aussi une pizza 🍕 impeccable. Rapport qualité prix impeccable. Intérieur brique rouge et déco moderne. Un très bon moment dans le quartier San Stefano
