If you're looking for quality and courtesy, this is the right place for you.
15/11/2025: The place is small but extremely welcoming, overlooking a quiet canal.
The selection is wide and includes fresh products from the bakery, pastry shop, and coffee shop, as well as quality preserved foods, often from local producers.
This makes it ideal not only for a quick stop, but also for taking away or giving as a gift.
The brioches are excellent: in particular, the cream filling, added on the spot, was perfectly sweet.
The prices are absolutely fair (for example, a cream brioche and a coffee for a total of 3 euros), especially for Venice.
The owner is extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling.

30/11/2025: Have been to Venice many times with my friend, and this has become our place to go for a drink and some gorgeous Cicchetti - especially the sardine and onions! The brothers who run the bar are absolutely wonderful, just so lovely and welcoming to everyone. They seemed to remember us from our visit two years before and I wish I spoke better Italian (or even a couple of sentences) so I could could communicate better as they're so nice and chatty. It's always busy in that "everyone wants to be here" way with people of all ages...and dogs too! You can chat, mix with the locals and have tasty food and drinks and it's not hard to stay till closing time because you just don't want to leave.

13/08/2025: I went to Avanà for an aperitivo and was truly impressed. The place has a refined and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break or an evening with friends.
The wine I tasted was excellent, enhanced by a truly original pairing with a fragrant violet essence: an unexpected detail that made the experience even more enjoyable.
The cicchetti were also a real surprise: fresh, refined ingredients and well-researched flavor combinations. You can sense the attention to quality and presentation.
A place I absolutely recommend, especially to lovers of good wine and properly prepared aperitivos.

It's the place we'll recommend to friends and family; we had the best experience. There are several vegetarian-friendly dishes and a ramped entrance.
