22/11/2025: Fantastic pizza, friendly staff, and a nice, clean environment. They're good, but the coffee is missing.

31/08/2025: Pizza slices are no longer made after 7:00 PM. Please note that the business closes on Sundays at 8:00 PM and on other days at 8:30 PM. The last time we were there, our pizza slices were sold to others even though we had already paid for them and were waiting. Furthermore, the staff are already ready to clean everything well in advance, more than half an hour before closing time. We've given them a few more chances, but I don't think we'll be back.

08/10/2025: The atmosphere is a bit anonymous. Breakfast isn't much of a highlight during the summer months. If they organized aperitifs or added a bit of liveliness, it would be a huge success. Unfortunately, it's a bit "dead."

07/09/2025: A restaurant with great potential, but it's run very poorly. The menu is truly basic, the staff is disorganized and wanders around looking for a table, dishes get lost, the manager loudly scolds the waiters, and the prices are high and definitely not justified for the quality/quantity. Highly not recommended, a shame because the location is fantastic. We'll be back, perhaps when the management changes.

27/05/2025: Locale molto caratteristico. Abbiamo cenato fuori di fronte al porto al tramonto, molto bello. Piatti buonissimi, forse l’attesa è stata un po’ lunga ma comunque non avevamo fretta. Consigliato

23/05/2025: Accoglienza e buon mangiare questa in modo stringato la mia esperienza. Ho assaporato due classici del luogo cappesante e sarde e gamberi in saor. Tutto molto delicato e ben fatto un calice di vino per innaffiare e una gentilezza che non guasta mai! Da provare ..

25/07/2025: Mangiare discreto. Servizio zero sala piena di fumo e per tre volte hanno lavorato le fiorentine a ridosso della nostra tavola schizzando i nostri abiti e riempiendo la Sal di fumo. Quando lo abbiamo fatto notare al cameriere ci ha guardato con supponenza e con disprezzo. Abbiamo pagato e ce ne siamo andati. Se vuoi eseguire quel tipo di ristorazione devi avere gli spazzi e lavorare la carne a ridosso della tavola dove la servi. La piastra delle fiorentine schizzava olio e fumava hanno acceso anche gli aspiratori,ma siamo dovuto andare a casa a farci una doccia e cambiarci per continuare la serata

28/11/2025: I've eaten here several times and I can say that the sushi is very good, the service is quite fast, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very nice, and the restaurant is very large, so it deserves 5 stars.

22/11/2025: We were drawn in by the photo of the pizza on the sign outside, also because the price was pretty fair: a Margherita was €8. We walked in and, at first glance, we encountered enormous karps in the small aquarium, begging for mercy due to the limited space. We sat down, but the heating was probably off because it was a bit chilly. When the pizza arrived, I realized it was the frozen kind. I checked the menu and, indeed, it was written at the bottom... I was still disappointed because I was expecting the one in the photo. The place itself is nice, although in some places there was a huge cobweb on the ceiling near a turned-off TV. So, basically, if you want fresh pizza, don't go there even if it says they make it seasonally... absurd!

15/10/2025: TL;DR: It's fine for a night or two. Very convenient location by the sea and parking available. The rooms are a bit dated, but for the price (50 a night for two), it's more than adequate. The only downside is the shower in front of the toilet, but for the price, you're happy with it. Also, the breakfast buffet (included) was plentiful and of much higher quality than we expected given the price per night.

17/09/2025: The hotel is dated but clean. The breakfast is plentiful, both sweet and savory. The staff is very attentive to your every need. The price is fair considering that parking and the beach are included. It is also located near the square, and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, and shops of all kinds to choose from.

16/06/2025: Logorrhea: uncontrollable talkativeness, sometimes pathology. 3 girls at the counter, 1 who is cleaning the shelves, 2 who talk intensely. Greeting: the answer from the only one who works and who asks me what I want. The other 2 continue their chatter. One in particular I believe is affected by the pathology described above, luckily the coffee is good.

18/05/2025: A cute little cafe. The dessert was a little dry but the cappuccino was delicious.

13/12/2025: Extremely expensive! 7 euros per beer (0'4 L) and 3 euros per little bread with mortadela. I don't have opinion about the rest of the things (standard quality in service and food) but from our point of view the PRICE was excessive.

12/12/2025: A friendly neighborhood bar, perfect for a spritz and some cicchetti. Mostly frequented by locals, which gives it its authentic and pleasant atmosphere.

11/05/2025: Posticino un po imboscato in una stradina laterale del centro storico di Mestre. Locale abbastanza grande e ottimo servizio. Abbiamo mangiato dei buonissimi cicchetti veneziani e un piatto di bigoli interessante

06/05/2025: Se le aconsejó que buscara Trattoria para probar la comida local. Estábamos en la zona y encontramos este restaurante que estaba escondido lejos de la zona principal. Tenían menú en inglés con chef y recomendaciones más populares. El aperitivo del perro de mar y la mejilla de ternera guisada. El plato de la calle 1 era un plato de muestras que era muy bueno en términos de sabor y oportunidad de saborear una variedad de aperitivos locales. La mejilla de ternera estaba muy tierna. La salsa usada era un poco pesada para los tomates, pero supongo que así les gusta a los italianos.

29/06/2025: During our recent stay in Porto Santa Margherita, my mom and I discovered what we believe to be the only restaurant in the area where you can eat really well: Riva Restaurant. We stopped for breakfast almost every morning and were thrilled. The cappuccino was always excellent, creamy and well made, while the vegan brioches were simply out of this world: light, fragrant and full of flavor. A perfect start to the day. On Friday we decided to return for lunch, and the experience was truly up to expectations, if not better. For the entrée, I chose seared octopus served with cream of peppers and caper flowers: a balanced and delicious dish, where each flavor was elegantly enhanced. For the second course, we both opted for the tuna tataki, and what can I say… IT IS EXCEPTIONAL. The tuna was of excellent quality, cooked to perfection, and accompanied by caramelized onions that were a real fairy tale, capable of enhancing every bite. A special applause goes to Luca, who looked after us with great care, advising us on both courses and making me and my mother feel truly pampered throughout the lunch. His kindness and attention made the experience even more pleasant. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff, professional, smiling and passionate, who contribute to making Riva Restaurant a place where you gladly return, and that we feel we can recommend with enthusiasm!

28/06/2025: They say that we will have to wait a bit for the first courses and that they will bring us a small appetizer to share. Anyway, there were a lot of shrimps but as a small appetizer it was fine. Except when the price of 19 euros arrived on the bill He paid more for that appetizer of 5 shrimps than for the first courses which we appreciated anyway

22/04/2025: Locale carino nel centro di Mestre. Ci sono stato a cena con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato 3 pizze tonno e cipolla di Tropea (premetto sono calabrese quindi conosco molto bene la cipolla di Tropea). Pizza buona ma la cosa assurda è trovare nella pizza le bucce di cipolla, che io di solito butto perché non si mangiano, ma ancora di più non era quella di Tropea ( assolutamente). Peccato perché la pizza alla fine non era male, bisogna stare attenti a quello che si scrive sul menù e ovviamente a quello che si utilizza come ingredienti. Prezzo ragionevole.
