04/09/2025: Honestly, I was disappointed. I expected much more! Poor service, disappointing food, disappointing waitresses! I don't recommend it.

03/09/2025: I'm convinced, there are better places in Chioggia for having lunch, also seafood... The food was ok (grigliata di pesche and spaghetti alle vongole). But the staff was VERY unfriendly - they threw the menu without saying anything and the lady who took our order was the epitome of a staff sargent... Noone wished "buon appetito" and they weren't interested whether we liked the food or not neither... My first and last visit there, can't recommend it.

10/03/2025: Riunione conviviale x il compleanno di una parente. Bel locale con vista sulla foce del Piave di Cortellazzo. Bel menu concordato x l'occasione ma con alcuni piatti decisamente non riusciti. Buon Gilera sfuso.

17/08/2025: At rush hour it's hard to stay there but otherwise everything is excellent. I ordered a hot cappuccino without foam with 37 degrees of heat and the lady prepared it for me as I requested. I like it hot and I can never get it quick.

03/07/2025: My partner and I entrusted the wedding cake to Pasticceria Nordio. What can I say, a guarantee! A simple explanation of what we wanted was enough and we immediately understood each other. The result? An amazing wedding cake, exactly how we had imagined it, which received a lot of compliments from all the guests. If you want a commercial cake, pay a commercial price. If you pay the right amount you get quality. Silvano, the pastry chef, is great!!!!

29/08/2025: I don't recommend going to this place. They grab you in the middle of the (very small) street and offer you a very comprehensive menu for €18, service included in the price. Once you enter, you realize the food is very limited and everything is pre-cooked. Furthermore, the owner's manners leave much to be desired. Once we entered her bar, her expression changed, and her initial politeness became almost contemptuous. Furthermore, the bar/trattoria was empty (the one across the street was full, which is symptomatic... a mistake on our part, too, for not looking more closely). In short, it's best to pass this B-list trattoria by.

27/06/2025: Great service. and delicious food ! The seafood ‘Fritto’ was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a wonderful dipping sauce, and presented beautifully. Dessert was also delicious - Flutte di Limoncello! -cool lemon gelato with Limoncello sauce. Perfectly refreshing on a hot day! Highly recommend this place!!

09/08/2025: A €12 breakfast (two cold cappuccinos and two croissants) to be called "raggedy." The waitress rudely reprimanded us for charging our phone next to the fire extinguisher, citing vague "Italian safety regulations," and then closing the French window of the living room where we were eating—as if she wanted to prevent us from leaving?! Referring to "all these raggedy people in Venice these days," she looked at us sideways. Immediately afterward, she began talking about us loudly to other customers in the next room, evidently thinking we didn't understand the language. Too bad we're Italian and we heard and understood everything. Did my colorful scarf or my tired look after the trip make us "suspicious"? We might as well have been denied entry; we would have saved ourselves the cold cappuccinos they served us. A humiliating and offensive experience. Avoid this place if you're looking for kindness, respect, or even just a hot cappuccino.

04/08/2025: 10.50 for two waters and a coffee. It really takes a lot of nerve. Congratulations. I'd be ashamed to charge customers every day. They scolded my son for taking a bottle of water from the fridge himself... "next time, ask"... so they could justify the price of the bottle "served at the table" at €3.50... Now I finally understand why the place is always empty... what a disgrace...

16/04/2025: Semplicemente fantastico! Una autentica paella in Italia! La cameriera (spagnola) simpaticissima, e anche lo chef è spagnolo. Tapas e paella di pesce e verdure davvero squisite! Porzioni abbondanti, atmosfera spagnoleggiante anche nell'arredamento. Ci torneremo!

01/04/2025: Cena di coppia sabato 29 marzo, premesso che la cena è stata mediocre, hanno prezzi esagerati per quanto riguarda le bevande: acqua bottiglia da 0,75 euro 3,20; un quarto di prosecco euro 5,10; sorbetto euro 5,40 (con quantità nel bicchiere di circa metà di quello che dovrebbe essere un sorbetto normale). Prezzi come da menù, della paella valenciana, poco chiari in quanto non specificano il costo a persona, lo scontrino fiscale non ci è stato dato ma hanno emesso la solita ricevuta riepilogativa delle consumazioni vantando di averci fatto lo sconto di euro 1,30 sul conto totale di euro 91,30.

10/07/2025: We were here for the first time in 2019 and returned this year. It was a memorable experience back then – a very positive one, of course. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Aurelio is a fantastic host/waiter who's a lot of fun to be with. Interact with him and let him tell you the funny story of the "Man in the Wall." It's always a pleasure to visit. Thank you so much. We'll be back! Grazias!!!!!
