16/02/2026: There's no reason to come to Italy without buying Venchi! The lovely store manager is incredibly polite, and everything is 10% off. If you're passing by an outlet mall near Venice, you can stop by to buy souvenirs. Highly recommended!

05/03/2026: A great find for a quick lunch on Giudecca (the pizza and focaccia slices were excellent)! Everything looked so appetizing… and they even had lovely boxes of little cakes to take away! 27/09/2025: Very good hotel with friendly staff and delicious food. The breakfast is sensational. The dinner is also very varied and highly recommended. The hotel is located about 800 meters from the center, right on the beach. A lovely walk.

24/09/2025: Two of us stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September. The staff are very friendly, speak German, and are happy to help at any time. Check-in itself was straightforward, but the parking lot is about 2 km away (the parking lot directly at the hotel was already full). You drop off your luggage at the hotel, drive to the parking lot, and are then returned by shuttle. If you want to leave during your stay, you can let reception know you want to pick up your car, get a key for the parking gate, and ride your bike to the parking lot and leave it there until you return the car and cycle back to the hotel. Our room was a bit small, but otherwise very nice and had a wonderful sea view. The safe, air conditioning, and refrigerator were another plus. The room could have been a bit cleaner (a few hairs on the bed and in the refrigerator weren't great, and the bathroom isn't quite as new), but overall it was okay. The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer: two coffee machines with various coffee varieties, a juicer and teas, a selection of ham and cheese, fruit and vegetables, pasta and sweets, scrambled eggs, and spreads. It was also delicious. The hotel's private beach is directly across the street and is equipped with loungers and umbrellas – two loungers and one umbrella are reserved per room. Please be aware that the hotel is located directly on the street, where there are several bars and restaurants, so it can get a bit noisy in the evenings. All in all, we really liked the hotel and would book there again.

03/04/2026: As a lover of Indian food, I try to come to this restaurant whenever I'm in the area. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are always very friendly, and the food is delicious! I always order the butter chicken, and the chicken is excellent, as is the sauce—perfectly spicy and very flavorful. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: A truly welcoming place with excellent service, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent food, fast service. The dishes were generous and succulent, so much so that you'd lick your plate.

05/04/2026: Top restaurant, our family’s favourite! Pizza experience is top. Thin and tasty with tons of choices. All fresh ingredients from Puglia.. when we come here for the last 10 years we always feel like at home. And the primitivo!! You need to try rose and the dolce, tiny amounts are produced and restricted to the very few people. The owner has it! If you haven’t been here thats a miss.

07/03/2026: Delicious pizza, very friendly and Italian staff, Venetian in fact. The guys who deliver the pizzas are very polite and kind. The atmosphere and staff are clean...I've never had stomach problems with their pizzas, unlike other pizzerias.

22/03/2026: A little gem. Al Cantinon is one of those places that immediately makes you feel at ease, as if you were a guest in someone's home. The atmosphere is intimate, simple yet tastefully curated, without excess: everything is designed to make you feel at ease, without forced formality. The service was super friendly, genuine, and always present, yet with a naturalness that is greatly appreciated. The cuisine follows a classic approach, but is executed truly well: flavorful, balanced dishes with great attention to flavor. Nothing is left to chance; even the simplicity reveals a thoughtful approach. A restaurant that doesn't need to impress with special effects, because it captivates with authenticity, warmth, and quality.

04/03/2026: We've been coming to the city every year for over 20 years – the food at Al Cantinon was some of the best we've ever had. The portions aren't large, but they're of excellent quality and delicious – we especially loved the grilled eel! The restaurant itself is very welcoming, and the friendly service added to the great atmosphere. It was a truly wonderful evening 😍.
