Pizzeria Al Timone In Venezia

I'm perplexed by the excellent reviews about the pizza...I'd like to think there's a difference between eating in and taking out. The pizzas had good ingredients, but the sides were a bit burnt and decidedly dry, hard to chew...plus, I was really thirsty. Hmm!

Good neighborhood pizza with impeccable service. The restrooms need improvement; it's just a cubicle, so customers can hear everything. The pizza is well-topped, although the crust is a bit hard.

Always the best pizzas on the Viale. At least one night a week, my kids ask us to pick up pizzas for takeout. I call ahead and they're always ready at the agreed-upon time. Excellent quality ingredients and reasonable prices.

Well… I had to stand up to cut the pizza. And not just mine, but both of the pizzas I ordered were hard as a concrete. So that’s an experience…

Wonderful place in Venice! My gf and I came here for pizza after reading the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed at all. The experience was really great from start to finish. A big plus for the staff’s English skills and the clear menu, which made everything very easy and comfortable for us. Our waiter was excellent, very friendly, professional, and gave us great recommendations. The Aperol was delicious, the prices were very good, and the chef clearly knows how to make a truly great pizza. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹🍕

A really nice place with exceptionally good service! They serve only pizza, and during the week they also offer some sandwiches and a few desserts. A small drinks menu completes the picture. We would have liked a starter (e.g., salad) and a juice as a drink, but we were very satisfied nonetheless!

The best place we've ever been to and eaten at. The place is perfect, beautiful, and typically Italian. The atmosphere is great and perfect for dinner, lunch, or drinks. The service is excellent; Rebeca, the owner, is very kind and a good person. Dino is the best cook and pizza maker in all of Mestre and Venice as well. The rest of the waiters are very attentive and very good too. The best thing of all is the food. Spectacular. He makes the best pizzas in all of Mestre and better than many in all of Venice. We'll definitely be back tomorrow! Congratulations and keep up the good work! Today we went back for dinner, for the second time, and it didn't cease to amaze us! A cozy place with delicious food and a wide selection. The waiter was very friendly, spoke English well, and was attentive and quick. We ordered two pizzas, which were very tasty and prepared quickly. The spicy olive oil was great as a separate condiment. I'm glad I got to eat here, just like before. I highly recommend it! We'll be back :)
