24/09/2025: I'm a sales representative and usually stay 4-5 nights away from home... traveling around Italy... here the feeling of home is truly refined, both in the room and in the restaurant. Even in the room, a 19th-century-style black quilted leather chaise lounge with exposed beams and 5-star attention to detail... Clean and fragrant. Breakfast was meticulously prepared and plentiful... Dinner was certainly high-quality, some locally sourced... generous portions... Minimal wait times and friendly staff. Truly the opposite of the complaints mentioned above...

05/09/2025: Nice place, shame about the arrogant and rude owner and the poor quality food. I don't recommend it as a place to eat.

17/06/2025: Hidden gem! We had excellent service, great wine and the best lasagna I’ve had. We went on a rainy night and it was great, I can only imagine on a clear night how great the atmosphere would have been.

16/06/2025: Accoglienza eccezionale anche grazie a Roberto che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa, cibo ottimo ,con alternative anche vegetariane/vegane. Consiglio la parmigiana di melanzane che è buonissima, rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono

01/12/2025: Unfortunately, we ordered 2 risottos with fish and courgettes... apart from the courgettes which were cut to the size of an ant, the prawns, only these fish ones, in one dish there were only 2, I say number 2, and that's it... the other portion had 5... luckily... but I say, a restaurant where fresh fish is well-regarded, should have added a dose of about 6 on top of the rice to at least show the fish...

28/08/2025: Very good gelato, with fresh, original, and well-crafted flavors. The place is clean and the service is fast, perfect for a sweet and refreshing break.

11/11/2025: It's clean, nice location, they're not overly friendly. Every day they empty your trash cans, but then the woman who does it comes and steals your SOCKS, in our case 3 pairs. It's funny, honestly, but we read in other comments that they justify that the woman has been working for them for years and of course she didn't do it. Regarding parking, if you book through Booking or in person, parking is free, but if you book through an agency, you have to pay 10 euros per day. Our agency sent an email and they replied that it's included in the price, but when you arrive, they'll tell you that it's not like that. We showed them the email, then they refunded the money, but they said that it's paid, they don't know who wrote that in the email. The breakfast is okay, as for the restaurant, they're friendly.

14/07/2025: A cena per il comple di mia moglie. Guidati da Ruggero e dai camerieri abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, sia come qualità che come quantità. Abbiamo ordinato - un antipasto al gatto nero (con capesante, canestrelli, sarde in saor, neonata, baccalà mantecato) - una frittura di mazzancolle e calamari spillo - le seppie al nero - biscotti bussolai - una bottiglia di vino Totale 222€ La menzione d’onore va al fatto che, dal momento che ci hanno servito una frittura sbagliata (calamari normali anziché spillo), hanno servito una seconda frittura non addebitandocela.

28/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. The waitress smiled unforcedly, looking like her cat had died. We ordered eight starters, four of which arrived on time, while the other four arrived 30 minutes later (we had to eat in shifts). We didn't even get an apology or a discount, they simply pretended nothing had happened, even after several complaints and requests. The tiramisu was good, but it wasn't tiramisu. The cream wasn't mascarpone; it almost tasted like pudding, and it had at least half a centimeter of bitter cocoa on top. It was good, but it should be mentioned on the menu. Overall, the food was good, but the staff was not. If we were to be in the area again, we wouldn't return.

27/09/2025: After a 20-minute wait, we politely asked for the menu, and the waiter replied that the delay was due to the fact that we hadn't booked. We understand that the restaurant might be busy, but such a response and such a lack of hospitality are unacceptable.

29/08/2025: I've been a customer of this restaurant for years, and I'll start by saying I regret giving it this rating. I went for dinner, and there was nothing to complain about the quality of the food; it was all good. The dishes aren't original, but they were good. In my opinion, the service isn't up to par. A few years ago, the wait staff consisted of two people dressed in white shirts and black pants, whereas today, just one person, dressed in a white t-shirt and a long white shirt (it felt like one of the kitchen staff was in the dining room). There was also a mistake with the risotto of the day; I was told "risotto with tomato and burrata," but instead I was served risotto with zucchini and chicken. No one had told me about the change, and it was already cooked on the table, luckily no one had any intolerances. Everything else was fine; I'm only disappointed because I remember how the service used to be (cloth tablecloths, waiters in shirts, and more unusual dishes). I can't say it's a bad place or that it's a bad place, I'm just saying it's lost its sense of customer service.

09/07/2025: Everything, except the modern chairs, is reminiscent of a trattoria from the 60s and 70s. The mess at the entrance is just decorative, but not annoying. 🤷🏻 Walls with really dated paint, with cobwebs everywhere.... This also serves as decor and makes the place look antique. 🤔 Sturdy tables of unique beauty. 👍 If they served water in ceramic jugs instead of plastic bottles, it would be wonderful. Only thing: at 1:00 PM, a filthy bathroom with an unpleasant smell, and that's not antiquity... 😔 Price: for 1 liter of water, tagliatelle with meat sauce, cotoletta alla petroniana with side dish, a coffee and bread/cover charge €25.00, a bit pricey for lunch 💸

A special mention goes to the lifeguards, always present, attentive, and truly super kind. 09/10/2025: We went there for a late-night drink with my brother, who was staying at a hotel around the corner. We were surprised to find the place almost full, so we just managed to get the last table. A waitress came immediately, and a short while later, we had our drinks. Friendly staff and good drinks. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: The service was okay, the order was processed quickly, and the pizzas were decent, but nothing special. We were there on a rainy day, and the terrace, with its side panels pulled down, had the feel of a cold train station concourse. Furthermore, people were smoking at every third occupied table, and the staff, despite being asked about it, tolerated it! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to non-smokers.

11/08/2025: Siamo stati a cene nella serata della paella. Purtroppo abbiamo mangiato male. Il riso sembrava cotto 2 volte ed il pesce purtroppo non sembrava fresco e non era cucinato bene. Gli scampi ed i gamberi non si sgusciavano e le cozze erano dure. Peccato, puo' capitare,ma vedersi arrivare poi un conto di 103 € per 3 paelle,mezzo litro di acqua,una birra piccola ed uno spritz mi sembra esagerato. Il servizio sufficiente pur non essendoci praticamente nessun altro, volevamo il dessert,ma siamo andati via perche' stanchi di aspettare che ritornasse qualcuno al tavolo.
