05/10/2025: very good pizza, large place in the center and quite fast

26/09/2025: Today was our second time eating there. This time, too, they couldn't manage to bring two meals to the table at the same time. My pasta always arrived long before my husband's pizza. So we couldn't eat together. My husband also got the wrong pizza. The service is simply not good. When we paid, Vasilli asked us if everything was okay. We said no, of course, and told him what was bothering us. But he wasn't interested at all. No accommodations, or maybe just an apology for everyone getting an espresso, as is typical. We won't be back, even though the pizza is really great.

11/11/2025: Everything was very good, even if it arrived a little cold and late. The cacio pepe potatoes were fabulous, but when they arrived, the sauce was so dry you couldn't even see it. It's a shame, because they're my favorites (at least put it aside for dipping later).

02/11/2025: I was very disappointed with the experience. I had ordered a double-dough pizza, specifically asking if it would be thick or pulled. I was told it would be pulled, but instead I received a large "pizza," almost entirely crusty, with very little toppings. The fries were also terrible: dark, soft, and greasy, evidently cooked in old, exhausted oil. We ordered when they opened, so there are no excuses related to the time. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this pizzeria, even if I'm just passing through.

12/10/2025: Sunday lunch. We had a quick lunch on the quiet outdoor terrace. I had a mixed fried fish. Perhaps the best I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a lot of fried food). I don't know if it was luck or luck, but I can tell the oil was new. It wasn't abundant, like the rest of the dishes. Prices were moderately high. But the quality was good. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The hotel has been temporarily closed for the past few years and has undergone renovations during the winter. And I must say, the result is magnificent. The service was also impeccable and discreet.

03/09/2025: Excellent ambience with live piano and delicate service but the food didn’t meet our expectations. Ordered lobster and shrimp pasta and lubina ravioli. Nothing outstanding, plates were extremely small (barely found the lobster) and coperto was 10€ per person. For the prices, it should have been a delicacy.

18/11/2025: Great base for visiting Venice. The area is a bit deserted in the fall but the hotel is pleasant. Parking is provided.

11/11/2025: It's clean, nice location, they're not overly friendly. Every day they empty your trash cans, but then the woman who does it comes and steals your SOCKS, in our case 3 pairs. It's funny, honestly, but we read in other comments that they justify that the woman has been working for them for years and of course she didn't do it. Regarding parking, if you book through Booking or in person, parking is free, but if you book through an agency, you have to pay 10 euros per day. Our agency sent an email and they replied that it's included in the price, but when you arrive, they'll tell you that it's not like that. We showed them the email, then they refunded the money, but they said that it's paid, they don't know who wrote that in the email. The breakfast is okay, as for the restaurant, they're friendly.

02/10/2025: My friends and I were all satisfied with the food - the paella was a generous and tasty portion, the meatballs with the sauce were super, à la grandma Pamich...

21/06/2025: The preparations are delicious with quality raw materials that are always fresh. You can find fish or meat based dishes with a wide choice of side dishes. The paella is highly recommended with generous portions, also for takeaway!

14/07/2025: A cena per il comple di mia moglie. Guidati da Ruggero e dai camerieri abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, sia come qualità che come quantità. Abbiamo ordinato - un antipasto al gatto nero (con capesante, canestrelli, sarde in saor, neonata, baccalà mantecato) - una frittura di mazzancolle e calamari spillo - le seppie al nero - biscotti bussolai - una bottiglia di vino Totale 222€ La menzione d’onore va al fatto che, dal momento che ci hanno servito una frittura sbagliata (calamari normali anziché spillo), hanno servito una seconda frittura non addebitandocela.

12/07/2025: The food tasted absolutely amazing, full of flavour and well presented . Served explained source of food and why it gave it the special taste that we enjoyed. Beautiful food in a beautiful place , highly recommend .

25/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful evening at La Pagoda! As a family of four (two adults and two children), we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive, and they made us feel completely at ease. The food was outstanding — the fillet steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and full of flavour, and the desserts were just heavenly. Our children also loved their meals, which were beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a restaurant that balances fine dining with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, but La Pagoda does exactly that. The setting itself is lovely — elegant yet cosy — and you can really feel the care and pride that goes into both the service and the food. Everything about the evening felt special, from the pace of the meal to the attention to detail. An all-round excellent experience. We left with happy hearts (and full stomachs!) and would absolutely recommend La Pagoda to anyone visiting the Lido. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Venice!

09/07/2025: Everything, except the modern chairs, is reminiscent of a trattoria from the 60s and 70s. The mess at the entrance is just decorative, but not annoying. 🤷🏻 Walls with really dated paint, with cobwebs everywhere.... This also serves as decor and makes the place look antique. 🤔 Sturdy tables of unique beauty. 👍 If they served water in ceramic jugs instead of plastic bottles, it would be wonderful. Only thing: at 1:00 PM, a filthy bathroom with an unpleasant smell, and that's not antiquity... 😔 Price: for 1 liter of water, tagliatelle with meat sauce, cotoletta alla petroniana with side dish, a coffee and bread/cover charge €25.00, a bit pricey for lunch 💸

03/11/2025: I am not used to leave bad reviews, but this is an exaction. The waitress was so rude and did not speak properly to our group. We do not speak Italian, but we had a strong feeling that they gossip about up in front of us. The spot is great, but the waitresses should be more careful how they treat people…

22/10/2025: Excellent place for aperitifs, snacks, and quick meals. I'd add: the owners are always polite, smiling, and very kind. Prices are more than fair. The XXXL sandwiches are delicious. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: A messy bar. It's like walking into a warehouse. Poorly made coffee. There's much better and little worse. No, dear sir, I didn't go to the wrong place. Having a messy business like yours is much worse than an orderly one. Surely, if you gave me that answer, you don't know what order means.

26/09/2025: After a game of football, I came exhausted at closing time and asked for two slices, the pizza chef instead gave me an extra one for free, these are the gestures of kindness that still make me believe in humanity

02/09/2025: The gelato was really good, with a wide selection of flavors and very kind staff (one of the girls, since I had bought two cups, one for me and one for my mom), ran to help me out because I had trouble getting out because my hands were full. The door was locked, and my mom couldn't open it from the outside because her dog was on a leash. The girl immediately offered to help and opened the door for me, very kindly. Very nice gelato shop and excellent, central location. I hope I have another opportunity to eat good gelato here ☺️☺️

17/10/2025: There's not much you can do. This is the best bar-restaurant in Salzano. A wide selection of snacks and an excellent lunch menu. Friendly and welcoming, in typical Venetian style.
