26/04/2025: Locale curato (pare, perché si mangia in penombra !) piatti curati ma se avete fame, non è il posto per voi. La cortesia delle cameriere innegabile ma non altrettanto quella del proprietario che ha un atteggiamento quasi infastidito e spocchioso . Un sorriso costa poco e almeno quando pago QUEL conto, potrebbe rallegrarsi . Non ci tornerei .

22/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante di pesce nel centro di Chioggia. Il menu offre un’ampia scelta di piatti di pesce locale freschissimo. La cucina sa esaltare l’ottima materia prima. Buonissimi il gran bollito di Chioggia, il crudo di mare, la grigliata, come pure i dolci (consigliata la degustazione della piccola pasticceria). Il locale è elegante, i tavoli sono ben distanziati e il servizio è curato, professionale e gentile.

04/09/2025: We dined at this exceptional restaurant for my birthday. It was a wonderful evening. We were already familiar with Chef Pensotti's cuisine, but the quality has been significantly raised. His entire career shines through in the dishes, which we found exceptional in every way. Compliments to the entire staff; even the service, despite being young, was punctual, attentive, and discreet. I recommend everyone to experience M4 Restaurant.

07/10/2025: I ate here twice, for lunch and dinner. I felt that there were not many hot dishes, and the salad was terrible. There were not many other complaints. It's not too much to give it three stars.

09/09/2025: Excellent kiosk, I've been here several times a day. Great drinks and amazing paninos. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Friendly owners. Everything is available to take away.

07/10/2025: Brasilia and Brasilio are geniuses! Very cool. The cynar and Aperol drink together is a 10! I recommend it.

12/07/2025: Bel posto e bella gente! Gentili, tutto ottimo e abbondante. La terrazza è stata un ottimo compromesso per scappare dalla pioggia senza perdersi una cena all aria aperta.

23/05/2025: Abbiamo celebrato e festeggiato a La Gassa il nostro matrimonio civile: ad Antonia ed ai suoi collaboratori 5 stelle su 5 meritatissime. Antonia è stata attenta ad ogni dettaglio, ci ha accolto fin da subito con squisita disponibilità, facendoci sentire a casa. Con gentilezza e professionalità, mettendoci cuore e impegno, ci ha attivamente guidato con cura per la piena riuscita della nostra festa. Abbiamo avuto da tutti i partecipanti riscontri positivi sulla qualità dei piatti, sull'ottimo allestimento della location e sul servizio ricevuto ai tavoli.Consigliamo La Gassa a pieni voti! ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Here, you're not just a customer, but a person welcomed with a smile, genuine kindness, and a lot of attention. The establishment is meticulously cared for down to the last detail: tidy, clean, and well-organized. You can see the passion behind every choice, every service. The owners and all the staff are qualified, available, and always ready to help with professionalism and warmth. A special mention goes to the lifeguards, always present, attentive, and truly super kind. The restaurant and bar are another strong point: the food is excellent, tasty, carefully prepared, and served with courtesy. 20/09/2025: Amazing pizza. One of the best 👍🏼that's how pizza should be 💚 top-notch service. Those who give the pizza a bad review here apparently only know it frozen or thickly topped with Gouda 😅

03/10/2025: While walking around Piazza San Marco, I stumbled upon a dessert shop and was truly delighted. It was a small shop tucked away in an alley, a bit removed from the piazza's glamour. The prices were reasonable, yet the food was delicious, making it a favorite among locals. Upon entering, it was already bustling with customers, and I could immediately sense that this wasn't just a tourist hangout. The shop itself wasn't large, so there wasn't much seating, but the charming and clean decor made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, even during their busy schedules, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The desserts I ordered exceeded my expectations. The sweet yet light flavors instantly soothed my tired body and mind. It was truly special to be able to leave the dazzling buildings and throngs of tourists in Piazza San Marco behind and spend a leisurely, sweet moment in this alley. If you're looking for affordable, delicious desserts and a glimpse into the everyday lives of locals, I highly recommend this place.

12/07/2025: The ambiance is truly beautiful, but the service is very inattentive, and the wait times, even after you've already ordered, are extremely long. tedious.

17/04/2025: We decided to walk the Grand Canal on our last night in the city. Usually I’d avoid places to eat right on the water, fearing both for price and quality but I’m delighted to say neither were affected here. All staff were really lovely, kind about our pigeon Italian and engaging with our easily embarrassed 14 year old. We had 2 cocktails and 2 soft drinks, 2 pasta dishes and pizza. They had gluten free pasta but not pizza and all of it was delicious. Our bill was €104 including cover charge. This is a bit more than we’d paid elsewhere for similar amounts but not much. View was incredible and people watching potential 10/10. I’d definitely recommend

12/09/2025: Special place! Pure, simple, beautiful, with infinite hospitality and tact. Very professional and kind staff. The food was incredibly excellent, fresh and delicate. Every dish truly exceeded expectations. A splendid and fabulous location. But the most fabulous thing is the homely atmosphere that reigns here. Special and well-deserved attention goes to the owner: Andrea. A young soul who has been able and will undoubtedly continue to carry on the legacy of this splendid restaurant with excellent skills, quality, taste, and passion. Thank you, Andrea. Thank you to your team. Thank you to your chefs. Thank you to your father, who taught you this profession in the best possible way.

08/09/2025: Saturday, September 6th. Dinner for two. As per reservation, I arrive at 8:30 pm. Upon entering, the place is already packed. There are many people talking loudly, and you're immediately struck by the "festival-like" volume. A standard order includes two appetizers, followed by grilled turbot for two (but the weight wasn't shown before cooking, and the bill stated it was 900 grams!). Everything was very good (for the €27 appetizer, along with the rest, a larger scampi would be better than two small, difficult-to-peel ones...). Bottled wine - Pasqual's Prosecco - a no, definitely not, especially considering the €22 price tag. Service: I'm sorry, but even when there are lots of people, the waiter needs to be more professional (boneless fish on a separate table, out of sight of the customer!) The young owner, a son of a chef, is smart, present, practical, and smiling. The bill wasn't low, but it was in line. Unfortunately, the cellar and noisy room aren't an invitation to return, but they do make you think and consider other options. Let's repeat, they know how to make food here, and they've been doing it for a while now. My memories go to the Gran Bollito di pesce con pinzimonio, from when my dad was driving. 09/10/2025: Please Avoid This Tourist Trap! We were charged €2 extra just for olive oil for the bread, even though the €3 per person coperto was already on the bill. When we questioned it, the owner insisted it was separate. They also asked us firmly to order drinks, even after we said we didn’t want any. There are many honest and welcoming restaurants in Venice — this one is not worth your time or money.

03/10/2025: The atmosphere and interior are wonderful. (I never tire of the paintings depicting Venice!) It's a great space with indoor seating, a bar, and outdoor tables. For food, I had the ravioli, which was the menu of the day, and the homemade tiramisu. From the savory main course to the sweet and sour dessert, I was very satisfied with my first meal in Venice! Above all, this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming to travelers (and, of course, all its customers). I'm tempted to visit again before I leave Venice!
