17/12/2024: Hostaria Venexiana è davvero un bel posto, si mangia molto bene e i piatti sono curati. Però i prezzi sono un po' alti. Nel complesso, un’esperienza positiva che vale la pena provare!

14/12/2024: Tuvimos una maravillosa cena de noche en este encantador restaurante, el servicio era impecable, y cuando una amiga tenía una gota de salsa en su camisa, el personal fue a trabajar para sacarlo, muchas risas pero increíble más allá de la llamada de atención del deber.

22/08/2024: La qualité des produits est excellentes, le goût est exceptionnel, si vous aimez la bonne cuisine italienne de poisson n’hésitez pas Acqua e mais est incontournable à Venise. L’avantage c’est que l’on choisit ce que l’on veut en petite quantité si on souhaite découvrir plusieurs saveurs.

08/08/2024: So many good cicchetti choices. Loved it here. Polenta is very good. The meatballs are great. For the adventurous try the fish based items like squid in ink.

09/07/2024: Beautiful location in the shadow. Small menu with basic selection. Famous for the seafood Cicchetti and did also have some starters.

29/06/2024: The 7th restaurant in my 11 restaurant ‘eating Venice’ extravaganza Osteria Bancogiro delivered. Located in close proximity to the Rialto Market and bridge, it’s situated in a really historic building, where in the past rich Venetians would use a messaging system to collect credits and pay debts, not liking to handle money personally. It’s a beautiful and atmospheric location to eat Venetian food. Like all my previous restaurants, my table had been booked months in advance, and reconfirmed a few days before. The comprehensive menu had plenty of choice, but with a twist. Thumbing through the pages I opted for the Scallops and Rhubarb cevicé and home made Bigola (thick spaghetti like pasta) with Lobster Sauce, Cavier and Zucchini and for dessert, an interesting looking Bavarian Mascarpone Cake with Cocoa, Maple Syrup and Truffle. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, everything was obviously fresh and the chefs skill obvious. Wine was a local Chardonnay which matched beautiful. I have to say, the dessert was particularly interesting with the savoury truffle notes balancing the sweetness of the Mascarpone and Maple Syrup 10/10 another standout place to eat. Service was relaxed and friendly, food knockout and reasonably priced for the quality.

01/04/2024: Good morning at the meat on the spit (their main dish) very poor dish half a leg of chicken a small piece but a small piece of very hard dry meat and a small rib (16 euros) with two slices of polenta. At the end of lunch I asked for coffee but unfortunately they didn't they do.A place to avoid.Will never return.

01/04/2024: I called to book a table for 8 people under the name Jessica and the owner told me there was no room, but exactly 2 minutes later I called the place back with another name and got the table... despite having asked the owner for explanations she wasn't there It was a clear and convincing response. The staff is friendly, helpful and prepared. Enjoyed food and very nice location. Huge flaw THERE IS NO COFFEE.

18/07/2024: The food was great, and the service was exceptional. But we were not expecting to also be entertained. In a tourist city like Venice, it is not uncommon to meet hardened, disinterested service people. Here the staff made the whole experience fun! They were extremely outgoing, engaging, humorous, witty; and seemed to be genuinely interested in us. This restaurant is small, with seating for no more than 50 or 60 people. At 7:15 we saw people without reservations being told to come back in two hours. Make a reservation on their website! Not only was the food good, it was also very reasonable priced, especially for Venice. We started with Bruschetta with our cocktails while we decided what to order. The Buratta salad was perfect for us to share. For entrees we selected Spaghetti Carbonara and Pappardelle with Bolognese sauce. I never order Carbonara at home because it is always pasty, but theirs was rich and creamy. The Bolognese was also very good. They offer good quality house wines at a very reasonable price.

12/07/2024: Most pleasant restaurant in Venice, tried carbonara and ravioli, strong recommendation for both. Tiramisu creamy and delicious. Best thing about the restaurant is the staff, good ambience and attitude.

01/12/2024: Locale semplice, titolari simpatici, buona ricezione, mangiato antipasto di pesce, molto buono e abbondante, baccalà alla vicentina con polenta, seppie in tecia, fritto misto perfetto, gamberi, totani, sarde, triglie.aqua, prosecco in brocca, caffè . PROMOSSI.

02/11/2024: Vengo qui almeno una volta all’anno per mangiare i loro spaghetti al nero di seppia , eccezionali ! Per me una tappa fissa a Chioggia !!!

21/11/2024: Un almuerzo fabuloso. Llegó como una celebración con amigos y se lo pasó de lo mejor. La comida es increíble, así como las vistas al gran canal. Vale la pena un chapuzón si estás buscando un lugar encantador para el almuerzo.

07/10/2024: Αυτό που αξίζει πραγματικά είναι η θέα που έχει. Πήγαμε για μεσημεριανό και κοκτέιλ. Το φαγητό ήταν απογοήτευση σκέτη. Το ποτό καλο. Ευγενικό προσωπικό. Πολύ καθαρό. Ωραία ατμόσφαιρα αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Περίμενα το κάτι παραπάνω από το φαγητό σε ένα τέτοιο μέρος. Αν πήγαινα ξανά θα ήταν μόνο για ποτό και όχι για φαγητό.

06/01/2025: Poor atmosphere and mediocre food ( my wife’s tuna was inedible, I tried it). So disappointing as our last dinner in Venice and whilst highly rated by you Tripadvisor, a thoroughly poor experience. Avoid this place!
