07/12/2025: The restaurant is located in a non-touristy area of Venice and is frequented primarily by local Venetians and university students. The staff is extremely friendly, always available, and quick with service, creating a simple and pleasant atmosphere. We tried both the pasta dishes and the pizza, and in both cases the quality was excellent: good ingredients, generous portions, and well-balanced flavors. The value for money is exceptional. In short, Giorai is a place you'll happily return to, without frills, but with the certainty of truly delicious food.

I can't comment on the other dishes.
The owner or employee was friendly, but constantly talking loudly on the phone via speakerphone, which was a bit annoying.
The atmosphere isn't very inviting, unfortunately.
The pizzas are perfectly fine value for money.

11/07/2025: Visitamos Casa Fortuni a finales de marzo por recomendación y fue genial. El restaurante está un poco escondido y no está en la plaza principal, pero vale la pena encontrarlo. El lugar está muy bien decorado y el personal es amable.
La comida era estupenda: fresca, sabrosa y algunos platos eran diferentes a lo que habíamos probado antes. La especialidad son los pequeños cangrejos a la parrilla, llamados moeche, definitivamente recomendable. Tuvimos suerte de que fuera temporada. Como entrantes comimos unos calamares pequeños y un tartar de ternera que estaban buenísimos. De postre, por supuesto, tiramisú: jugoso y cremoso, como debe ser. ¡Muy recomendable!

Ottimo il tiramisù anche se fatto con gli oswego e non con il classico savoiardo
Ottima anche la cassata
Un filino secca la crostata mandorle e gocce di cioccolato...

21/10/2025: A cozy bar in the heart of Venice. We stayed nearby and would come down in the evenings for a Spritz. It was always busy, but the atmosphere was great. A very friendly bartender (or owner) treated us to some snacks alongside our delicious drinks. We highly recommend this place!

12/12/2025: Worst restaurant in venice! We were served reheated bread and a microwave chicken and chips which were dry and disgusting. The drinks were also flat and tasted funny. We then went to pay and found that made up hidden taxes and fees had been added to our order costing us much more than we had hoped to pay. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant and would go somewhere else!
12/12/2025: WORST RESTAURANT IN VENICE!
We got sucked into this place by a merry woman hustling on the street with the €14.50 special.
The included Prosecco was 3 day old opened sour grapes. The pasta average and the secondi chicken was a processed frozen piece of crap that my kids wouldn’t even eat. She dismissed our complaints and threatened police. What happened to the cheery demeanour…?
On top of that they hit you with a €12 coperto tax hand written on one random page of each menu.
Avoid disappointment and bypass.

25/09/2025: Tasty pizza at an affordable price. A large selection of dishes for under €10. You can also order pizza by the slice.
Small beers and cola are €3 each.
The only drawback is the additional €3 surcharge per person.
And for that reason alone, I'd recommend the competition on the bridge. It's simply cheaper.

02/12/2025: If the quality of the food matches the courtesy, it doesn't bode well. They treat you with extreme condescension, not even responding to greetings or questions until you insist, and then they send you out to a wet table full of pigeons. I'd say no.
30/11/2025: Cold dishes, and pigeons crawling on the tables set outside, and on the condiments they later brought to the table (oil, salt, pepper, and cheese).
We definitely won't be back...

03/09/2025: Delicious ice cream and a sufficient—not overly large—selection of ice cream flavors.
Friendly owner who speaks good German.
Waffle cones are upgradeable, so don't go for the sugary ones, but it's all about the ice cream.
They also offered a mini cone as a sample for the little ones.

We ordered a children's cake made to our specifications at very short notice, and it was not only beautifully made but also at a very fair price. The sales staff are incredibly friendly, even speak German, and take their time with their customers. You immediately feel welcome here. 😊
We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Forno Raccanelli! 👍✨

24/09/2025: I don't have any photos of the pizzas and desserts I ate, because they're so good, that must be saying something 😁
The pizzas are delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. You can choose whether you prefer regular or gourmet pizzas; the choice is yours.
The desserts are very good, and the homemade tiramisu is excellent.
I haven't had a chance to try the restaurant's dishes yet, but considering the selection of ingredients on the pizzas, you can't go wrong. Congratulations.
24/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by accident, but what a surprise! Quiet place, extremely kind and attentive manager, quiet location, and what can I say about the pizza? Spoiled for choice, one pizza better than the next, all top-quality ingredients, we'll definitely be back!

08/12/2025: My partner and I have a bed and breakfast near this restaurant. We were passing by and decided to try lunch here for the first time, along with my in-laws. The place is very cute and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. As for the dishes, the quality is excellent, perfectly flavorful, and truly delicious! Even the desserts are truly exquisite! I will definitely recommend it to tourists staying in my apartment, and I will definitely be back myself! Highly recommended!

Wir waren 17 Personen, Mittags gibt es keine Pizza was mit Kindern schwierig ist , dann haben wir Lasagne bestellt, die war eine Frechheit , noch dazu haben wir eine weniger bekommen als bestellt mussten diese aber bezahlen. Das andere Essen war auch alles andere als warm, sehr schade für diesen Preis erwartet man sich einfach mehr.
28/07/2025: Wir hatten Lasagne, Nudel mit Meeresfrüchte und frittierter Fisch.
Für 24 € waren die Meeresfrüchte mit Nudeln sehr gut.
Frittierter Fisch naja.
Die Lasagne war gar nicht gut. Fertiggericht?
