09/09/2025: The food was good and the portions were generous. When you walk in, they'll find you a table (unless you've reserved). The problem is that they gave us a seat between two tables and two benches, which was really bad considering there were plenty of free tables... The parking lot is terribly organized.

17/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our stay. The room had fabric-lined walls all around, even the bathroom door, which seemed to trap moisture and odors and created a strong, musty smell of rancid oil. We had to leave the doors open overnight, which let mosquitoes in because there were no fly screens, making for a very uncomfortable night. We dreaded returning to the room.
Breakfast set was equally underwhelming. The bread seemed stale, the fruit poorly prepared, and the presentation, including finger-marked cheese, was unappealing. The coffee tasted like instant. It is not worth the price.

16/11/2025: A high-quality pastry shop. Lots of vegan options, meaning vegan pastries offered alongside the traditional ones—not the usual jam croissant. It's a bit out of my area because I live in another city, but if I'm passing through, I'll definitely stop by.

03/05/2026: A very simple and spartan place, but the food is excellent. Fresh catch of the day and some frozen dishes are available. I recommend the appetizers and mixed grill. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, and friendly staff! We'll definitely be back.
01/05/2026: The atmosphere was unpretentious but looked intriguing, and the dishes looked good too... the problem? After sitting where indicated, we waited 15 minutes for someone to come take our order... so we went to the counter and were assured they'd be right there... another 5-minute wait, no one in sight... we got up and said goodbye!
In response to the owners: I'd say I eat wherever I want, especially where I have service... like at a restaurant not far from yours.

16/02/2026: I can't say if the food is good, since at 12:50 they didn't want to serve us, not even saying they were waiting for a table to become free... The owner's response was, if you look further ahead there's a pizzeria... Very professional.

31/10/2025: Excellent little seafood restaurant nestled in the porticoes of central Mestre... Phenomenal, carefully prepared dishes, a smart-casual atmosphere suitable for both a business lunch and a romantic dinner, and a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely kind owner.
The only downside is that since there's only her and her husband in the kitchen, don't expect fast service: La Scuea is for enjoying a meal, not for a quick sandwich, remember that!
In any case, a highly recommended place!
Oh, and ps: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance!

13/05/2026: An extra portion of sweet potatoes was charged 5.5 euros even though it says that with the ordered burger a portion of sweet potatoes costs 4 euros, maybe the discount does not apply if 2 burgers and other food are ordered! It must be emphasized which burger the sweet potatoes go with!! Incredible logic!!!

25/08/2025: forgot to leave a review for the place that made me fall in love with any pistachio filling! the croissants are flaky and filled, coffee tastes bold which is to our liking. love the ambiance and interior though it is quite crowded and u might have to wait longer for seats and to be attended, but staffs were great regardless and still answer to ur queries!
04/07/2025: We went there through Google maps as it was shown as open on JULY and it was closed since Christmas
