01/05/2025: I went with my son yesterday to have an aperitif. The young lady who served us was very kind and professional. The appetizers are of mediocre quality. The coffee good. The toilet... the bad smell reigned supreme (it needs to be disinfected). Honestly if I had used the toilet before ordering, I would have left. Not to mention the bill....on the price list displayed, it said €10.00 for an alcoholic aperitif with appetizers (what we chose), the receipt said €12.00 per aperitif.....I asked for explanations, but the owner (I think) started a theatrics, he turned purple, he definitely thought we were tourists. Shameful! Next month, I will return to Barletta, but I certainly won't go to have an aperitif in this bar.

22/05/2025: We came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time! We had reserved a table along the canal, which was respected. The food was excellent and the waiters were very attentive. I can't give it a 5-star rating because the prices are still quite expensive (€180 for two, but we have to admit we had a great time!)

21/05/2025: The location near the canal was ideal and charming. Unfortunately, the good experience ended there. There was a construction site on the other side of the canal, which caused a lot of noise. At first, the servers were very welcoming and friendly when it came to seating you. However, this stopped once you'd already placed your order, especially if they noticed you weren't American and probably weren't going to leave a tip. The service then became very cold. For €4 per person per plate plus an additional 12% on the total bill, you'd expect much better. The portions were tiny, and we paid almost €80 for two small dishes that left us hungry when we left. Plus, they bring you a bottle of water for €6. A child elsewhere on the terrace had started crying, and the servers were giving him threatening looks to signal him to stop, fearing it would drive customers away. Still, it was quite inhumane to do so. The atmosphere during the meal was tense due to the waiters' behavior. Other customers had sat at the next table and left after looking at the menu, noticing the cover charge and the 12% surcharge. The waiter became frustrated with their hasty departure and slammed the chairs back into place. We were shocked. Finally, when it came time to pay, our waiter told us to go inside. When we entered the restaurant to pay, another waiter got angry with us and told us to simply stay outside. We paid by card, and their machine didn't accept the card "tap." Our waiter sighed in my face and swore in Italian, snatched the card from my hands, and abruptly handed me the machine so I could enter my PIN. No class, stay away from this tourist trap, or you'll be treated like worthless people despite the large sums you spend to eat their pitiful meal.

10/05/2025: Locale molto accogliente con piscina, La qualità della materia prima è indiscutibile, io adoro il filetto con porcini si scioglie in bocca dalla tenerezza,la mia amica tartare di manzo spaziale. Una nota molto importante è il servizio, ragazzi/e professionali,gentili senza essere invadenti,si vede la buona qualità anche nel servire,nel versare il vino,in piccole accortezze che ti fanno gradire la presenza del cameriere. È la giusta via di mezzo tra il ristorante di livello ed elegante e la semplicità. Complimenti tornerò presto con grande piacere.

10/05/2025: Ottima la carne, selezionata e di qualità, personale molto professionale e accogliente, tagliata morbidissima e saporita, provato anche la tartare, buonissima, gradita anche l'attenzione agli accessori: buono l'olio extravergine fruttato, e l'aceto dolceagro, bella la location con piscina e divanetti, e non ultimo complimenti a chiunque abbia selezionato la musica di sottofondo, che contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera accogliente e gradevole, ottima esperienza

25/11/2024: On Saturday, we ordered 7 pizzas, each one different from the others, we found them all very good, cooked right, right ingredients, and good prices. I recommend the pizzeria da Titti to everyone. Kind and helpful people.

05/09/2024: Got two devils on the fly for €13. Waited 10 minutes (pre-announced). I asked them to cut them into wedges and they did so very kindly. Excellent pizzas: top dough (you can feel that it is not the usual standard dough...), with abundant mozzarella as I like it, fragrant crust (almost like that of my pizzas...), perfect cooking. Too bad it's a bit far from my house, otherwise it would be my favorite takeaway pizzeria. Well done guys, keep it up!!!

22/04/2025: Locale carino nel centro di Mestre. Ci sono stato a cena con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo ordinato 3 pizze tonno e cipolla di Tropea (premetto sono calabrese quindi conosco molto bene la cipolla di Tropea). Pizza buona ma la cosa assurda è trovare nella pizza le bucce di cipolla, che io di solito butto perché non si mangiano, ma ancora di più non era quella di Tropea ( assolutamente). Peccato perché la pizza alla fine non era male, bisogna stare attenti a quello che si scrive sul menù e ovviamente a quello che si utilizza come ingredienti. Prezzo ragionevole.

15/04/2025: Very good experience at the Trattoria all’Ancora bar 👌🏼 The service is fast, the food simple but very good and the staff welcoming. Unfortunately we didn't speak a word of Italian but we were able to communicate in English with them without any problem!

15/04/2025: Quick and simple but really good food and very good value for money. For tourists: the portions will seem very limited, that's how it is in Italy. Take a primi (mainly starchy dishes) and a secondi piati (meat or other protein) for 12€ in total and you will have eaten enough!

02/04/2025: If you are looking for a restaurant where you can enjoy good raw fish, I suggest you change location. The welcome was not the best: when we asked for a more private table, we were told that it was already assigned. Shortly after, however, we were offered that very table because (the lady's words) "I don't even know if these are coming!" We move on to the order: oysters, scampi, two tuna tartares, cuttlefish tagliatelle and two first courses. The wine was opened and served without any possibility of tasting. When the scampi arrived, they were freezing and seven of the eight ordered still had their intestines. The person with me at dinner pointed this out very politely, but the lady in the dining room immediately responded annoyed: "You're the only one to point this out". (I would like to point out that she continued to address us, two customers she didn't know, with the "tu" form in an impolite manner) She then added that their raw material is fresh and therefore is not "manipulated". If cleaning a crustacean from its intestines (an organ known to ruin the taste in the mouth, in addition to being unhealthy to ingest) means manipulating it, I would say that paints a clear picture of the creepy environment we find ourselves in… We kindly ask to maintain a more moderate (like ours) and professional tone, but the situation further degenerates with the arrival of the husband/partner/chef, who arrogantly reiterates the freshness of their raw materials and lets himself go with phrases like: “You are used to eating frozen stuff, write whatever you want on Tripadvisor” and “You have the wrong restaurant”, cutting it short and without any possibility of having a civil dialogue. After his show in the room, the tuna tartare arrives: aesthetically unappealing and with an equally disappointing flavor. At that point, we decide to interrupt dinner, pay the bill and go elsewhere. A detail worth mentioning: the restaurant offers a very simple fried food for a whopping 32 EURO (and not just real scampi). With certain prices, you would expect at least a minimum of attention to service and customer relations. To the owners who boast so much about their experience in the sector: we recommend less arrogance and more care, because certain basics of catering should not be the subject of discussion (beyond a course in elementary education) PS: While waiting for the usual reply from the lady - given the nice tone she reserves for negative reviews if you have noticed - I send her my warmest regards.
