21/05/2026: This is my second visit to this restaurant in Venice, as it's the place to go for squid ink pasta.
The squid ink pasta was delicious as always!!
(There have been a lot of harsh comments lately, but I realized that the squid ink sauce is exquisite, and people's preferences differ depending on the firmness and thickness of the noodles. It's like how Japanese people have preferences for ramen noodles.)
Since the meatballs were delicious last time,
this time I ordered the ragu sauce.
Yes, it was delicious as always!
The staff provided excellent service, making for a very pleasant experience.
On my way out, I bought my usual fried meatballs to take away. (This is actually my favorite, haha!)
Thank you for the meal.
I'll be back again.
20/05/2026: The location is central and easy to reach on foot, in a quiet area despite being in the center of Venice. The prices were a pleasant surprise: we expected much more given the location.
We had the fried meatballs as an appetizer, the meatballs in tomato sauce with polenta, and the spaghetti with clams. The meatballs were really good and definitely my recommendation. The pasta with clams, on the other hand, was average (too spicy for my taste, but that's just my personal opinion), while the bread seemed a bit stale.
In total, with two coffees, a glass of wine, water, and a cover charge, we spent €61. Overall, I would recommend it especially/only for the meatballs.
