04/10/2025: WHAT HAPPENED? Accustomed as we were to sfogliati (not the usual brioche we're used to, but REAL sfoglia) filled to the brim with pastry cream and cappuccinos served in large cups (at a standard market price), we were DISTURBED: small cups, sfogliati with a drizzle of cream, and sky-high prices (€2 for a cappuccino and €2 for a brioche in the province, which in our opinion cannot be justified with the usual "due to the increase in raw material prices" argument). We weren't just passing through but regulars. We're very sorry, as the service is excellent and the place is a lovely place for a Sunday breakfast, but now we're forced to choose another destination. Please come back again!!! We'll be there!

02/10/2025: Good products, but prices have gone up significantly. It's basically 9 euros for two croissants and two cappuccinos. I don't even pay that much in the center of Padua.

06/05/2025: Today we stopped with former colleagues for lunch. I can't understand how the other reviews could give a positive rating. At the entrance there was a blackboard indicating the dishes of the day. I asked for the meatballs with vegetables, written on the blackboard but at 12.40 they were finished. There were some ready meals on the counter: I asked for one but they were booked. We ordered a specific bottle of wine but they brought an open bottle of another type of wine without asking. We were told that that was over. All poor quality pre-cooked food heated in the microwave behind the counter. Having only eaten one dish and not even finished it because it was so bad, we asked if there was any cheese to finish: they don't have the cheeses on the menu...which by the way we didn't even see because it was all listed verbally. The service, although with good will, was labored and inattentive. Orders were taken with dishes from other tables being delivered in hand. The worst thing was the quality of the dishes: transparent gnocchi from a supermarket bag, strips of very white washed chicken, cut: small steak into strips, a few slices of bread in a small bowl etc.......3 courses, 47 Euros. I'm sorry to give this opinion but that's how it is for me. Even more so given the arrogance of the owner's response....

06/05/2025: Oggi ci siamo fermati con ex colleghi per il pranzo. Posto difficile da vedere dalla strada. Non riesco a capire come le altre recensioni abbiano potuto dare una valutazione positiva. All'ingresso c'era una lavagna con l'indicazione dei piatti del giorno. Ho chiesto le polpette con verdure, scritte sulla lavagna ma alle 12.40 erano terminate. Sul banco c'erano dei piatti pronti: ne ho chiesto uno ma risultavano prenotati, da riscaldare in attesa dei clienti. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di vino specifica ma ne hanno portata una aperta di un altro tipo di vino senza chiedere. Ci è stato detto che quello era finito. Tutto cibo di scarsa qualità riscaldato da alcuni forni a microonde in continuo funzionamento dietro il banco. Avendo mangiato solo un piatto e neanche terminato in quanto pessimo, abbiamo chiesto se c'era del formaggio per concludere: non hanno i formaggi del menù....che tra l'altro non abbiamo neanche visto perché è stato tutto elencato a voce. Il servizio, se pur con buona volontà, era affannato e disattento. Venivano prese le comande con i piatti di altri tavoli in consegna nelle mani. La cosa peggiore è risultata la qualità delle portate: gnocchi trasparenti da busta del supermercato conditi con un sugo pallido alle verdure, straccetti di pollo slavato bianchissimo, tagliata: bistecchina a listarelle, poche fette di pane in una ciotolina ecc.......3 portate, 47 Euro. Mi spiace dare questo parere ma per me è così. A maggior ragione visto l'arroganza della risposta del proprietario....

10/09/2025: We had our wedding at Trattoria Marin. The staff were incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and every request was met. We were so happy and will definitely be back. Plus, they have a large, beautiful garden where you can take photos without having to search for locations. Thank you so much to the entire team at the trattoria for this beautiful day! ❤️

29/06/2025: Unclean environment kept in disarray and rude sales assistants. It should be a place that makes juices, squeezed juices and ice creams. When I asked for a juicer they denied me the service, telling me that they don't make juices anymore, even though in my opinion they don't want to work much (in fact when I asked the other sales assistant she told me that the machine is broken, which I doubt is true too, I will verify the non-compliance directly with the Vaniglia headquarters)

13/10/2025: I'm sorry to give such a low rating because, given the location and the expectations raised by the bar's social media, I expected much more. We ordered two spritzes and a tea. They arrived quickly, but without even a single chip or appetizer. After about 15 minutes, during which we'd seen that appetizers were delivered to other tables, we asked for something to eat, too, and a measly basket of chips arrived. The end of the story: we went to get a piece of focaccia from the shop next door, a shame. I don't say this in a bad way, because I work in this industry too; I hope this situation improves.

06/10/2025: I'm really sorry to leave a bad review because it's not like me. I also work in the bar industry, so I can understand the various complications that can arise with orders, but after a 50-minute wait and reordering three times, I didn't even get my water and mint. I'm sorry, but at a certain point I saw the people who arrived after me eat and leave. I also felt sorry for the waiter, who had nothing to do with it, yet apologized repeatedly. I won't stop frequenting the bar, but I recommend they improve their order-taking process.

10/08/2025: Excellent bar for the lunch break with a lot of choice of abundant and tasty first and second courses. When I'm in the area for work I always stop in for something to eat. The sandwiches are also excellent.

18/05/2025: Large space. Unique. I went to this bar because I was taking a course nearby. Friendly and committed staff. Good food.

11/05/2025: I'm leaving one star only because I can't give 0....I went there once and I won't set foot there again....staff truly without any shred of professionalism or intelligence.....1 hour and a half queue to enter because it was compulsory to pass through a bunch of metal detectors by passing the bags in a basket and opening them as if we were criminals....absurd! 1 fucking hour and a half and then not even asking us if we had the pre-sale or not... seeing as the girl who gave the ticket didn't want to do a damn thing... sitting there being a pretty little statue giving the cards to the fucking dog without giving us the chance to ask her for information on the pre-sale we had purchased since she was throwing the card behind you and pushing us forward telling us to move forward in a bad way and honestly I often go to discos and in every club they ask you to show the qrcode or the pre-sale....except here...but look...we thought that at this point everyone had the pre-sale and it was compulsory or that they asked for it at the cash desk and we entered without giving it too much thought...the place is really dirty...the stickiness on the floor is disgusting...not even the former Custom Club in Vicenza was so dirty and that was truly indecent....obscene music and bartenders incapable of making a damn thing of soft drink or drink....the problem in itself was at the checkout because even though I had the pre-sale they asked me to pay 19 euros (I had only used the cloakroom for the jacket and had only drunk the drink included in the ticket) I paid since the queue was pushing...but since I was there I asked if it was ever possible to have to pay 19 euros with the pre-sale!...the girl made me talk to one of the bodyguards with whom I got into a heated argument because he blamed me for not having told the idiot who gave out the tickets that I had in advance because according to him they can't ask 1500 people per evening (look, they do it in every damn place except here and the time to make us go through that damn metal detector and search us and check our bags making us wait 1 and a half hours in the cold didn't they have it?) .... this man who wasn't there at the time of entry (when he claimed the opposite) was absurdly ignorant... he didn't even apologize or move to refund me and my partner the extra money spent (50 euros!!!). In fact, he dismissed us in a rude way....shameful attitude on the part of staff who don't know how to do their job in the slightest! For me this place could even close and go bankrupt. I advise against anyone... I will never set foot there again after being scammed without receiving even a shred of apology.... I'm disgusted!

02/09/2025: Two plates of mediocre pasta, two glasses of unusually bad red wine, and two coffees for €45. The ambiance is pleasant, but the service is unambitious.

The condition of the environment is more than excellent and the price you pay is equal to what you see and what you eat or take away. The preparation is so equal to the kindness that those in charge extend to the customers. I invite the public to select this pastry shop because it is full of delicacies and kindness.

02/06/2025: Poor quality, poorly preserved pizza, the Roman one has a strange aftertaste and is anything but crispy, it is watery and soft. Chips overcooked and even cold, and the other pizza was only half cooked. I'm sorry but really disappointed

11/04/2025: Sono venuto a cena in questo posto, rustico un po’ fuori il centro, in cui la specialità è il pollo fritto. Noi a parte il pollo fritto, 1/2 per due persone 21€, un po’ tantino per me, e state attenti anche alle ossicine, abbiamo preso anche una porzione di bigoli, serviti con 3 condimenti, e delle patatine fritte artigianali. Come condimenti mi è piaciuto di più il ragù, era davvero buono, anche patatine fritte buone, così come il pollo che era ben fritto. Servizio veloce e cordiale e prezzi abbordabili.

06/04/2025: A malincuore come sempre quando devo purtroppo scrivere qualcosa di negativo, devo porre agli atti che: Trattoria vecchia, ferma agli anni 80(dato oggettivo non critica). Servizio di bassa qualità soprattutto chieste le cose più volte, e non le portavano. Scortesi come se dasse fastidio il fatto che eravamo li, soprattutto il cameriere che presumo anche essere il titolare, veramente scortese (amico lavori nel settore dei servizi e dell'ospitalità, se odi le persone cambia mestiere!! Con il dovuto rispetto eh) Cibo buono! Qualunque cosa mangiata, nulla da dire, era veramente buona(dolci a parte che metà di noi li ha apprezzati, e metà no, ma ad ogni modo non sono di loro produzione ma di Dalla Bona) Infine prezzo eccessivo ma veramente eccessivo per il pollo fritto(che ripeto buonissimo), ma non da 65 euro x 2 ovaline di pezzi di pollo.. Ordinati 2 contorni, arrivati 2 contorni, pagati 3 contorni. 8 euro di una birra, esagerato! 3.30 euro a testa di coperto SPROPOSITATO per il complesso di tutto (okey tovagliato, doppia posata e pane, ma 1 non siete un posto da coperto così alto, 2 la scortesia la lascia a casa a 3.30 euro. Come ad esempio dirmi al telefono "che mi conviene arrivare entro le 9.30 se voglio cenare", al sabato sera........). Chiudo: buono il cibo, non torneremo Do la sufficienza solo x il cibo e la possibilità di portare il cane

10/06/2025: Unacceptable prices! Menu said verbally without a card obviously... It appears to be a very informal restaurant, with home cooking, very easy-going service... but then you can't present a bill of 96 euros for 2 for: 1 water, 1/2 Lt of simple house red, 2 coffees and 1 Off grappa, 2 appetizers (I attach a photo of the cooked salami and polenta), 4 mixed side dishes, 1 steak and 1 rib eye steak (small, just right for one person).... shame because the meat is very good for goodness sake, but I can understand a price like that in a context with a completely different service and maybe taking a small bottle.. in my opinion a disgrace!!
