12/10/2025: In the Forcellini area, in the square in front of the church. We were very pleased with the lunch we enjoyed outside on comfortable chairs, with super-friendly service from the young waiters. They don't charge a cover charge (they bring bread and breadsticks to your table). We were so pleased that we'll definitely be back. Plenty of free parking along the street or behind the nearby Alì supermarket.

09/10/2025: Excellent osteria in the Forcellini area of ​​Padua, both for dine-in and takeout. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it's a popular spot for workers on their lunch break.

15/06/2025: First of all, too expensive, little selection for a pastry shop, which at 10 in the morning has no more croissants. I'm sorry because the staff is very kind and the location is beautiful.

12/10/2025: Undoubtedly a unique and iconic location, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. The menu aims to be "unusual" with innovative options (like the reindeer fillet or blueberry bucatini), but it was decidedly underdeveloped and poorly expressed once plated. On the downside, the prices are far from cheap and the portions are small. Overall, it was a different experience, and I'm still wondering how they managed to squeeze a train car into a building.

12/10/2025: We returned after two years, recalling what this place used to be. Tonight we returned with friends and were disappointed with the place it once was; only the location remains. The final bill didn't match the menu—at least 50 cents more per dish. The portions were small and the price was high. We won't be returning; it's a real shame.

09/09/2025: In my opinion, they have some of the best cornetti in Padua. They have them with various fillings. They produce several types of delicious birthday cakes. They also offer amazing seasonal pastries, such as panettone for Christmas and colomba for Easter.

29/08/2025: Here's the revised review: I've been frequenting Pasticceria Novello for a long time and I'd like to compliment Angela, one of the girls who works there and whom I've had the pleasure of meeting several times at the Guizza store. She's very competent and professional, and knows exactly what to do to make customers feel at home. Her smile and helpfulness are truly appreciated. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting her again.

29/08/2025: Kebab with overcooked lettuce and flaccid piadina because it was so soggy. I had to wait 30 minutes for it to be prepared, paying €7 for a terrible tasting product. I couldn't finish it... it was thrown in the garbage. I won't be coming back.

26/07/2025: Delicious, giant kebabs. Very affordable. Friendly, polite staff. Whenever I can, I drive 30 minutes to get them. I recommend them!

18/07/2025: Una bellissima sorpresa nel cuore dei Colli Euganei. Sono stato a La Cantinetta per pranzo e non posso che parlarne con entusiasmo. È uno di quei posti che non ti aspetti, ma che ti conquista dal primo istante. La location è raffinata, curata ma accogliente, immersa nella tranquillità di Torreglia. Il menù propone piatti che sanno sorprendere: c’è equilibrio, creatività e tanta attenzione alla materia prima. Ogni portata era un piccolo capolavoro, presentato con eleganza e accompagnato da sapori netti e ben bilanciati. Ma ciò che ha davvero reso speciale il pranzo è stata l’accoglienza: il titolare, Simone, è una persona squisita, competente e appassionata. Insieme alla sua collaboratrice, ha saputo creare un’atmosfera familiare, calda, senza mai perdere di vista professionalità e cura per il dettaglio. Ci si sente davvero coccolati. Un’esperienza che merita di essere ricordata e, soprattutto, ripetuta. Tornerò sicuramente

20/05/2025: No. I was hoping for better. We were not shown the menu but only verbally indicated the house specialties, without asking us if we wanted, for example vegetables separately in the choice, or if there were any. We took the boiled meat for two as an appetizer. Good, but without a second course: it means that the other person was fishing from mine and not from the one on the serving plate. After about half an hour of waiting, the fried food arrived, defrosted: when I stuck the fork in the fish, the water came out. The plate for the scraps was not brought, so what was left of the scampi and prawns, all on my plate. Not very elegant but above all not very practical. I asked if they had hand towels (which in these cases are already on the table) and I was told "I don't know, I'll look". The restaurateur, aware of the delay between one dish and the next, kindly offered the amaro. (Appreciated) The bill was a surprise because I hadn't seen the menu and was presented with the total and that was it. I would have understood the stumble if the restaurant had been full but we were only two tables. Frankly for a "fish specialty" it seems a bit low in terms of service and quality, then bad days happen to everyone, but I wouldn't recommend it and I don't think I'll go back.
