The strong point is the food, which is flavorful and tasty.
It's certainly not light, but it's perfect for those who appreciate this type of cuisine.
A decent selection of beers rounds out the offerings.
Service is a bit slow, even with very few customers, and also very informal.
The biggest criticism is the location.
The interior has been partially modernized and is consistent with the price and service.
Externally, the building is not in good condition and is located right next to a very busy road.
So there's disturbance from noise, exhaust fumes, and car headlights shining in your face while you eat.
The outdoor tables are practically in the parking lot.

01/02/2026: It's a top pizzeria for those who want a good, light, and tasty pizza. Prices are always fair and balanced. The sandwiches are also exceptional. The three owners are friends first, friendly, and extremely polite. The staff is also excellent; every waiter always has a word to say and a punctual greeting. I highly recommend trying it; it's all one big family. 👍👍👍

10/04/2026: Had lunch on Easter Sunday. The staff was friendly, helpful, and smiling. The food was delicious, and all courses were always re-ordered. The atmosphere was clean and quaint, perfect for those who appreciate rustic fare. The wines and desserts were also excellent.

Superb food!!!
If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: Great experience, we dined there twice over the Easter weekend. Excellent appetizers and very interesting first courses, including some typical Venetian cuisine. Service was prompt, the staff professional and friendly. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. I recommend it!
01/04/2026: Delicious food and friendly service. No large spaces which gives you this little feeling of authenticity with waiters moving back and forth amid guests talking, forks and knives clicking. I would gladly go back there. To anybody else I can only recommend.

16/12/2025: Midweek dinner for my boyfriend's birthday; I couldn't have chosen a better option! A cozy, small, well-maintained restaurant, with well-served and well-prepared dishes. Any dish was delicious! We'll be back!

11/04/2026: A quaint bar with a unique, old-fashioned pub feel. A good selection of beers and a always busy atmosphere. Seating is limited, but that's not a problem. We often stop by after dinner for a good, reasonably priced beer.

30/03/2026: A lovely, authentic little place, just like it used to be, with super-fast service and top-notch pizza! Thin and crispy, with excellent quality ingredients: the tomato sauce was delicious, and in the case of the pizza I chose, the burrata and roasted cherry tomatoes. I read in a review from another user a few months ago that "the prices are Milanese." I firmly disagree: paying €10 for a full pizza is very difficult these days, not just in Milan, but even in Padua! The average is now €13, even for a simple ham and mushrooms. We're below average here, not above. Kudos to Pizzeria Savonarola!! :)

05/03/2026: Had dinner with friends. We ate two Florentine steaks for three people... amazing, tender, perfectly cooked, and flavorful.
And they brought us lamb ribs, fantastic. The cooked vegetables were also excellent... artichokes, cooked vegetables, roast potatoes, peas.
Truly a great discovery. I recommend it.

13/01/2026: Padua's go-to place for fantastic Mexican food!! Every time I pass through the historic center, I make sure to stop here to try their exceptional dishes. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is basically a takeaway, or you can dine in (there's a small table with stools for two). No frills and great quality food. Prices are in line with the quality of the dishes you can enjoy here! Highly recommended.
