Ytheca by Fiorital In Padova

By a series of coincidences, I've recently dined at this restaurant twice. I really like the place; the staff are always attentive to their customers but never intrusive. Here... there's nothing you can do... the fish tastes like the sea, in all its nuances. The dishes are balanced and very good. You can choose from raw to fried, from shellfish to tartare, but the result is always the same: you can taste the fish in your mouth, period. The bubbles recommended by the waitress are excellent. One thing I really appreciate is the calm and tranquility you can feel in this place. You can eat in a relaxed way (at least that's how I feel), and I'd say that's no small thing!

The idea is nice and the place is pleasant. The food is well presented but it doesn't have that little something extra that I hoped and expected. Sufficient but nothing more.

The fried shrimp and vegetables were good. Excellent service, nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. The lobster with prawns on a bed of vegetables (recommended by the waitress) was a bit too salty, not salty enough to call the waiter to send it back, because we're deeply embarrassed to criticize a restaurant waiter directly, who might then taste the dish and say it tastes good, and we risk getting into arguments that ruin the meal even more. It's best to only comment after paying online. We ate the entire lobster, which was edible, but it had that extra touch of saltiness that made the experience less than satisfying. I reported this with a smile at the cashier; the clerk didn't comment and offered us two wrapped cookies. It was our first time there, and we were probably just unlucky to catch the moment when the chef was perhaps a little distracted. Otherwise, the restaurant seems good, and I'm reasonably certain that the rest of the patrons had a more than satisfactory experience. Next edit ----------- After I posted the review, I was contacted by a very kind restaurant manager who apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that she would guarantee the highest quality the next time we return. I really appreciated the call because such attention to a customer is very rare. I've therefore increased my rating to 5 stars, because I'm sure everything will be excellent next time.

Invited by dear friends on April 24th for a party at this beautiful restaurant, we had a truly memorable experience. The location is stunning, and the cuisine lived up to our expectations—in fact, it exceeded them. The dishes are prepared with great attention to the quality of the ingredients, the freshest fish, but with that touch of care that makes everything more special. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. The dessert was absolutely spectacular, one of the best millefeuille we've ever eaten. Between the atmosphere, the flavors, and the attention to detail, this is one of those restaurants that is truly worth a visit.

We chose Ytheca to celebrate a special occasion with friends, and we couldn't have asked for anything better: a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere is exquisite and the welcome impeccable, but the real highlight was the cuisine, of the highest quality and meticulous attention to detail. Every course was a memorable experience. We were truly satisfied; it was a perfect evening.

I ate there at Easter, an unforgettable experience....an intimate and very peaceful atmosphere, the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and very professional....fresh fish, cooked very well, I will return.
