19/03/2026: Le Calandre is amazing! We had an exceptional meal prepared by chef Max, and served by GianDomenico, Christian, and Jonathan. They are the best! Chef Max‘s creations are really a balance between food and art, and it was really on another level. The service was exceptional also - Giando and Christian took time to explain each dish in detail, and Jonathan always made sure the food was presented well. My favourite was the cappuccino murrina, which was so beautiful and delicious, and the really special pasta with all parts of the egg; even the egg shell. We also met chef Max, who is super nice and an extremely talented chef! We will really enjoy our gift as well - thank you to the team for an outstanding experience!!!!!

30/12/2025: Although it's located on a busy street, the restaurant has a relaxing, homey atmosphere. We arrived around 6:00 PM, so we were the first ones there. The staff kindly explained the menu to us, and since we were looking for seafood, we ordered octopus salad, shrimp and mussels pasta with zucchini cream sauce, sautéed cod and potatoes, tomato bruschetta, and lemon cake for dessert. We were so satisfied that it was a little overwhelming for two people! However, it was a bit disappointing that the appetizer, pasta, and fish all came out together. I wish I had tried the appetizer first.
Another table ordered calzone, so maybe calzone is a specialty.

Excellent seafood, cooked with care and dedication by qualified staff. Delicious pizza. Excellent. The perfect place to impress friends and family. I highly recommend it to both tourists and locals. 20/02/2026: Excellent for the quality of the food, location, and friendliness. You don't get a lot of privacy because the tables for two are quite close together, but then again, it's a bistro, not a restaurant. I'll definitely be back. It was a great experience.

18/03/2026: Chosen by chance, but recommended by an acquaintance, we celebrated our son Andrea's confirmation. Everything was perfect, from the outdoor setup to the table setup inside. Excellent food, impeccable service, and perfectly timed. The staff were very attentive and courteous, both during the pre-event planning and on the day. The price was perfect too! All our guests were very satisfied, and we were thrilled with our choice. We'd definitely repeat it for other occasions, but also for lunch or dinner...

03/11/2025: On Saturday, I went to try their "taglia'" (a wonderful new treat)—it was incredibly delicious. I added both gelato and whipped cream at the girl's suggestion, and I have to say, it was truly delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean. The location is in one of Padua's most beautiful squares.

31/12/2025: My first experience at BA Hot Pot in Padua, and I have to say it was truly excellent! I had a wonderful meal: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and attention to detail. The place is beautiful, welcoming, and very clean, perfect for a dinner with friends or something a little different. The owner is definitely an added bonus: he's incredibly kind and always available, making you feel at ease right away. A truly positive experience, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
30/12/2025: Just as I expected: delicious! It's the perfect place to try something different, and it's definitely delicious. I recommend going with at least four people to save on the cost of the broth, should you decide to order more than two.
You choose the dishes via a tablet brought to your table. If it's your first time there, the staff, always attentive and kind, will explain everything in detail. The owner probably saved our evening by noticing we'd chosen a medium spicy Chinese broth, so he immediately intervened, advising us to take it easy. 😂
There seems to be an all-you-can-eat menu for €35-36 per person, excluding drinks. Overall, it was a really great experience, and we plan to return soon to share it with others. 😊

25/12/2025: I was here today for Christmas lunch. Impeccable service from the wait staff, who anticipated all our requests with professionalism and discretion. The same was true of the kitchen staff: from my vantage point, I saw the chef inspect every single dish as it came out. And I'm not exaggerating. The quality of the food was beyond excellent. It's been a long time since I've eaten so well. When you go here, try the risottos; you won't regret it.

20/02/2026: Super welcoming place. We were served by the owners, who were just the right amount of kindness and friendliness. The food was truly amazing. For drinks, we had a Cipil. The flavors are real Mexican with super-fresh ingredients, corn tortillas and guacamole that make you wonder: "Did they just go to Mexico and get those? How did they do it?"
In the photo, I'm only showing the appetizer made with Cipil, the nachos, and guacamole.
The rest is a must-try!

08/02/2026: A cute, elegant place. The dishes are typically Mexican, unlike other similar restaurants. The flavors are slightly different. The dishes are well-executed, although I think I'd add some other traditional dishes that I didn't find. The staff is attentive and available to recommend and explain the various dishes. You're on the right path to great growth!

01/03/2026: After a long time, I'm returning to the historic Boccadoro restaurant in Padua.
The cuisine is always top-notch, using quality ingredients. The restaurateurs are a model of how a restaurant should be run (which is why it's still always packed).
I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons: the Vicenza-style cod was rather salty, and the sponge wasn't perfect, affecting the texture. The wine list, while in line with the restaurant's caliber, I found it rather pricey, with an excessive markup, especially on some bottles from the Triveneto area.
In any case, I reiterate my remarkably positive opinion.
27/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, service exceeded expectations, fantastic frittatatina with wild mushrooms and carletti (pity I didn't have the risotto)!!!! Excellent pappardelle with duck (a historic traditional dish) and finally the pazienzana... Definitely worth returning to.
