08/09/2024: Cenato 2 sere di seguito con le figlie, che dire, piacevolmente sorpreso. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la gentilezza di tutti, dalla cassiera ai camerieri. Ottimi i piatti e la pizza da 5 stelle. Questa volta ero in vacanza, ma visto che per lavoro sono spesso da queste parti, di sicuro tornerò. Complimenti a tutti!

29/08/2024: Che tu raggiunga la malga a piedi oppure usi la “navetta” del buon Fabio, andare in malga Pramper e’ come raggiungere il paradiso da vivi: circondata dalle Dolomiti che fanno cornice ad un panorama a 360* con un orato che sembra curato da un giardiniere, sole puro e tanto silenzio . C’è l’occasione di mangiare in malga : panino oppure tagliere o anche il piatto con polenta ,pastin formaggio fuso e alla griglia…..e se vuoi puoi acquistare il formaggio fatto da loro, completare il tutto con yogurt CONSIGLIO: se sei abituato a fare l’aperitivo fighetto e vai in montagna per SEMBRARE GREEN, la val di zoldo non fa per te…….e nessuno interessa che tu sia fashion o abbia la carta di credito. RISPETTO e umiltà sono sufficienti

15/08/2024: Durante la mia visita lo scorso mese, ho notato che l'attività non accettava pagamenti con il POS per importi inferiori a 20€. In Italia tutte le attività devono accettare il pagamento con carta di credito di qualsiasi importo. Inoltre, ho riscontrato una scarsa attenzione verso chi segue un'alimentazione 100% vegetale, come potete vedere dal file allegato. Sconsiglio la visita in questo luogo, in quanto ritengo che bisogna essere più inclusivi.

01/10/2024: Anche quest'anno, in vista del rientro a Milano, siamo venuti qui per acquistare i prelibati formaggi di loro produzione, tra cui il formidabile Bacalin, il caratteristico Zigher, il suadente val Fiorentina, le squisite tome aromatizzate al peperoncino e all'erba cipollina. Consigliamo di provare questi e gli altri latticini proposti in un assortimento ampio, diversificato e in continua evoluzione. Un eccellente indirizzo al quale ci rivolgiamo con immutata soddisfazione. (*visitato 5 settembre 2023*)

31/12/2024: Actually stayed here in August 2023 (just getting around to writing a review). Outside scene was great...looked like something out of a story book! The dinner area was nice and the food was good. The bed situation was TIGHT. The tightest bed situation of all the rifugios...ideally try to get a room with folks you know. The shower/bath was so-so. The ranking of the rifugios we stayed at on our AV1 trip are listed below. 1. Fodara 2. Cinque Torri 3. Fontana 4. Lagazuoi 5. Vazzoler (tie) 5. Staulanza (tie) 5. Passo Duran C Tome (tie)

13/11/2024: Our group stayed at Refugio Vazzoler on the sixth night of our trek on the AV1 in the Dolomites. It had been a mostly-rainy day, and we arrived to a short line of people shedding their wet gear at the door. Once that task was completed, our check-in was simple. Then a few of us grabbed a bite in their restaurant, which was packed with guests and hikers trying to stay dry. The family who ran the rifugio were very friendly; and the setting here was also one of the loveliest we encountered on the AV1. Once the rain abated, we were able to walk outside to views of cloud-wrapped mountains. We also explored their extensive "alpine garden," featuring a variety of shrubs, flowers and trees that had been cultivated in various groupings. Unfortunately Rifugio Vazzoler had the least amount of space and the poorest amenities we encountered on the AV1. It was crowded to the point of being a little claustrophobic. Plus they had only one large, unisex bathroom for 80 guests (some were staying in other buildings). The toilets were behind individual doors, but only some of them were modern; the rest were just a hole in the floor with a chain-handle flush. The only showers were tiny, on a coin-fed timer, and offered scant privacy from the line of people waiting for the next one to be free. There was no potable tap water here either - thankfully all the taps were clearly labeled as such. We had filtering gear, so this was not a biggy; but those without had to buy it bottled. Rifugio Vazzoler was the only rifugio on our trek that was cash-only. Our group had pre-paid for our room/board, so we were OK; but a few others were scrambling to come up with enough bills. Again, it was gorgeous location, but that alone wasn't sufficient. Based on the overcrowded conditions and poor amenities, Rifugio Vazzoler became tied for the worst hut we stayed at on our trek. Rifugio Summary: - Setting: On a forested promontory, surrounded by tall cliffs - Rooms/dorms: Small; very tight. Deficient bathroom situation - Food: About average - Free Potable water: No - Wi-fi: Weak

21/07/2023: Posso parlare solo del bar, non ho infatti provato il ristorante.al termine di un’escursione vado al bar chiedendo al banco due caffè e una fetta di torta. 1,8 ottenuto per ogni caffè e 5,5 euro per una fetta di torta che, nonostante fosse al tiramisù era aveva un sapore di limone ed era particolarmente secca. Ferma da giorni è andata a male o solo fatta male? Inqualificabile soprattutto visto il prezzo richiesto

11/08/2024: Nei 10 giorni del mio soggiorno a Malga Ciapela, tutte le volte che mi è stato possibile, ho approfittato per prendere o un caffè o un gelato o della pasticceria nel bar dell’hotel alla posta poiché il ricordo che avevo della mia vacanza trascorsa qui con i miei genitori nel 1990 è molto positivo. I prodotti sono molto buoni ma sinceramente ho trovato ogni volta il personale non solo poco cordiale ma quasi scocciato nonostante mi fossi SEMPRE rivolta con garbo ed educazione cosa quando invece ho notato tutt’altro atteggiamento quando il cliente era del posto. Faccio fatica a comprendere questo atteggiamento. Che i miei soldi con cui ho pagato ogni volta siano diversi da quelli dei caprilesi?!

08/03/2024: Ristorante apparentemente elegante, pretenzioso nei prezzi e nel coperto (4€) ma quando ci hanno portato l’olio, su nostra richiesta, siamo rimasti stupiti dal fatto che ci presentassero una bottiglia da supermercato di olio di marca comune. Una caduta di stile piuttosto rilevante Cibo nella media Ci andavamo spesso prima del covid e ci siamo tornati con entusiasmo. Purtroppo siamo rimasti delusi, anche dai prezzi delle portate non proporzionato al contenuto del piatto ( ad esempio formaggio a pezzi, con 3 pezzettini di polenta alla griglia e funghi a 18€)
