01/11/2025: Last night, around 12:30 AM, I went to the Panzerotteria to buy two panzerotti and two potato balls, as I often do. The guy at the counter, looking a bit chubby, told me the panzerotti were still being prepared, so in the meantime he served me the meatballs. After trying one, I realized they didn't taste like potato balls, but rather meat. I went back to the counter to clarify, and at that moment another employee (a black guy) was there who told me that "potato balls don't exist," only meat ones. I calmly explained that I'd probably just used the wrong term, saying "meatballs" instead of "croquettes," and that I meant the potato ones. Then the first guy returned, acknowledged his mistake, apologized, and handed me the correct product. However, the other employee began behaving very rudely: he raised his voice, swore, and yelled in front of other customers, telling me to "learn Italian" and even asking the bodyguard to remove me from the establishment. I understand there may have been a linguistic misunderstanding, but that's not the way to address a customer. If I used an inappropriate term, it's normal to be politely corrected. Telling a customer to "learn Italian" is disrespectful, especially when the real problem stems from a simple miscommunication. I apologized to the bodyguard, who was kind and confirmed that he understood the situation. I believe such behavior is unacceptable in a public place, and I hope management takes action, selecting staff who respect customers and know how to handle misunderstandings with courtesy and professionalism.

05/12/2025: At Piazzo, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and I also enjoyed the pizza, especially for its excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend this restaurant because you'll be served like a charm.

28/11/2025: I went yesterday for pizza with friends and I have to say that overall I had a decent time, the prices are a bit high and the pizza is very thin… 3/5.

01/09/2025: Cozy restaurant. The tuna steak was amazing, the spaghetti with clams was very forgettable, especially since two-thirds of the clams were not open. It is very expensive for what it is.

30/05/2025: Siamo stati all’Osteria per il compleanno di mio suocero con tutta la famiglia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Piatti deliziosi ed abbondanti. Rapporto qualità prezzo TOP! Abbinamenti cibo e vino scelti con cura. Non parliamo dei dolci che hanno concluso il pranzo in modo sublime. I ragazzi che gestiscono il locale e il loro personale sono capaci e ti mettono a tuo agio. Consiglio assolutamente di provarlo 🤩

16/11/2025: We went for dinner with friends. We immediately felt at home... The staff were friendly and attentive to detail. The food was very good, home-made, and the portions were generous. We'll definitely be back.

21/12/2025: Eight of us went for a late-night drink. The place was practically empty. We ordered five gin and tonics, two Cuba Libres, one small beer, and one gin. The gin and tonics were just ice and tonic, while the Cuba Libres were just ice and lime. The gin ordered separately to add a little flavor to the ones we'd already ordered was charged as premium without asking or saying anything. Basically, seven glasses of ice, one small beer, and a very ordinary/commercial gin cost us €100. We won't be returning.

09/11/2025: It appeared as open on Google, but it was completely closed. Google My Business is a disaster in this area… it's impossible to trust the hours they show. They should update or review them, because you travel miles for nothing. 😤

25/10/2025: Ambience was quite nice but had to wait for a while to be served. Immediately noticed the difference of a pizzeria within the town and outside the town. Went for a good old Capricciosa (mozzarella, tomato, ham, mushrooms, artichokes). Taste is alright but the crust was too thick and heavy. Also the artichokes were huge and overpowering. Positive side they had a very spicy oil to eat it with. We asked for a local red and they gave us a Cabernet Sauvignon. Did not enjoy it that much. Charge is added pp for the table higher since it’s in the town I guess. Also the total was double comparing.

02/12/2025: My favorite pizzeria in the Rovigo area. Exceptional dough, very different from all the other pizzerias in the area. The quality and richness of the toppings are unmatched. Every month they invent new combinations, sometimes very bold and never predictable. Fanny, the owner, is friendly and courteous. Overall, the entire staff is very welcoming. You can eat in or have your pizzas takeout.

25/08/2025: A quaint inn with tidy rooms and a restaurant serving delicious pizza. The manager is truly kind and helpful. I would definitely return if I were to ever go to Recoaro!
