30/09/2025: A fixed stop during trips to the lake

27/09/2025: Perfect location on the lake, with a view of the lake inside and a very elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The food and limoncello are absolutely delicious! Shrimp pasta costs €15.50, pizza €8-15. You can even watch the pizza being prepared live. Upon request, they also offered "make-your-own" coffee, with water and milk separately. Definitely a top recommendation!

09/10/2025: The food came quickly, but polenta from the microwave wasn't exactly tasty and while we were eating there was drilling and very loud repairs going on, just inconsiderate.

06/09/2025: A welcoming and comfortable beer bar with a constantly rotating selection of beers and a wide selection of draft and bottled beers. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff, highly recommended!

01/11/2025: REALLY RUDE AND TOURIST UNWELCOME! I’m not sure if the lady owner or waitress was being racist, but from the moment we walked in, she completely ignored us. We stood in the middle of the restaurant for quite a while — even the other diners noticed and tried to help us. When we finally got a table and were ready to order, she still refused to acknowledge us and told us to wait. What made it worse was that she was very warm and friendly toward the local customers, smiling and serving them promptly. But every time we tried to order, she looked annoyed and told us to wait again. We came to the restaurant to enjoy a meal, not to be treated poorly. Her behavior was extremely rude and disrespectful!

27/11/2025: Everything was very good. The place is cozy, despite the noise (weekends). The waiters are kind and helpful. The wait times are reasonable. Recommended if you're passing through!

02/10/2025: We got there at 6:30 pm, and they said no food till 7 pm, so we got drinks. But, a group of 9 came in after us and were served chips and salsa before 7 pm. They were playing loud rave type repetitive music. The servers didn't speak English, seemed bothered by us and very rude. We had to go up and get the server to ask if we could order after 7 pm, since they didn't come back and ask since 6:30 pm. We got Burgers and the buns were hard as a rock from being stale. We left crumbs and half the top bun on our plate but didn't complain. We should have complained but we would have to wait longer for a new burger, and were afraid of retaliation like spitting in our food, since they were so rude already. We had to go up and get the server again to ask if we can pay. We were charged 2 euros for 2 coperto which she angrily showed us by lifting the place mats. See the Pic. We have never been charged for that in any country and were not told of the charge beforehand, or we would have declined the place mats. Welcome to the mandatory fee only in Italy. Rude service and bad food. I'm sure they will lie and deny. Don't bother. Not worth it.

25/10/2025: An amazingly beautiful hotel in a dream area. The room was amazingly amazing. A small drawback - you can hear every step outside the door. And another small drawback - it's a shame there's no coffee/tea set in the room. We expected that in such a luxurious place the breakfast would be amazing but it wasn't. The breakfast was casual and not particularly successful. Nothing special and beyond that, once the bread or eggs ran out they didn't fill up anymore. People arrived and there was no food. Even though in reality there was still two hours until breakfast ended. Dinner was terribly expensive and didn't justify the price. The bread is great. The first courses are special and delicious The pasta is excessively al dente as if you were eating uncooked pasta. Not so successful. The main courses are small and terribly expensive and the thing that was really the most wow was the tiramisu. Tiramisu is amazing.

31/05/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ate really well! The fillet was very tender, tasty and perfectly cooked rare. The wine was excellent, carefully selected. The service was impeccable: friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. It's a shame we didn't dine outside, but we will definitely return when it's warmer, because the view is fabulous! A place that we absolutely recommend for a romantic dinner 🥰*. See you soon!

21/11/2025: A truly quiet and charming place. The ayce option on Thursday evenings is perfect: 70/75g of pasta, your choice between carbonara, gricia, amatriciana, and cacio e pepe. All four are truly delicious. €18 for unlimited pasta. If I were to return to Verona, I would definitely stop by again.

18/11/2025: We found this place tucked away off the beaten track and had a very enjoyable burger for lunch. The vibe was relaxed and despite being off the tourist trail, soon busied up on a Monday lunchtime. The gluten free bun was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen and the waiter even thoughtful enough to check I would be ok with the home made fries as they’re fried in the same oil as other wheat containing products. Luckily I am ok with this, which is a bonus as the fries were delicious!

05/10/2025: Reachable in less than an hour on foot starting from the parking lot of trail 467, just before the Staulanza Pass.

25/09/2025: Favourite stay in the AV1. Simple rifugio that tries to be environmentally conscious. Loved the family vibe, Mario is extremely kind, Carlotta brightened up the place with her smile, the whole team was friendly and felt happy to be there. Plenty of space outdoors to lie on the grass or sit at the benches. Great views. Potable water: No Food: Great food with gluten-free and lactose-free options, though with smaller portions than other rifugios Rooms: Small but serviceable, you will need a bed liner Wifi: Yes Bathrooms: Showers were 5 euro for 4 minutes of hot water which was more than enough for two of us. Bring your own towel and toiletries

24/11/2025: I can highly recommend the Hotel Greif. I spent a wonderful weekend in Lignano at the Hotel Greif. The service is excellent and the rooms are lovely. I will definitely be back!
