13/07/2025: Oggi, Io e la mia famiglia, abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante in occasione del 52° anniversario di matrimonio dei miei genitori. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, piatti buonissimi e ben curati con prodotti del posto. Ezio ci ha proposto un Rabosello eccezionale per accompagnarei piatti. Inoltre per i nostri genitori è stata una grande emozione pranzare nel ristorante e in particolare rivedere la sala proprio dove si era tenuto il ricevimento di matrimonio nel 1973 e riabbracciare i titolari e il figlio Enzo (allora un bambino piccolo 😃). 28/07/2025: I'll start by saying I've been there on more than one occasion and have always had a good experience. The pizza is good, with good-quality ingredients and a light dough. The staff is young and attentive to their guests' needs without being intrusive or invisible. The atmosphere is fairly standard for a pizzeria of this type, but pleasant. I've also had the opportunity to try the takeout pizza, and while I live quite close by, sometimes you can taste the difference between the pizza you eat at the pizzeria and the one you take away. In this case, I didn't notice the difference and enjoyed it at home too. I'll gladly return.

21/07/2025: On Sunday evening, there were 16 of us for a birthday party. Most of us ordered fish dishes, but I didn't get enough feedback. I'm basing this review on what I saw firsthand: the fried fish wasn't fresh, even clearly reheated; the chicken cutlet tasted like it was made with "dough" and not real chicken; the bigoli and grilled meat arrived after an hour, after everyone had already finished eating. The bigoli were barely thick, and the grilled meat was reheated and tough. In my opinion, the ones who ordered pizza had the best meal. The hour-long wait for a grilled meat and a plate of bigoli was indecent, and when it came to dessert, the maître d' didn't even notice they were still eating and brought the cake straight away. In short, I ate the chicken cutlet to be on the safe side... I no longer trust any restaurant that serves fish or meat, yet during the night I had to take a Biochetasi because I was really sick and had diarrhea during the day. The place is really, really nice, nothing to complain about!

21/07/2025: A good restaurant with a very extensive menu, they also do pizza. I mainly go for the pasta allo scoglio, which is phenomenal (full of seafood, so much so that it "hides" the pasta, a triumph of deliciousness), but I've tried other first and second courses.

30/07/2025: Beste pasta ooit!! We waren hier met ons gezin. Personeel was super vriendelijk en het uitzicht op het meer subliem. De home made pasta is zeker een aanrader. Bij afrekenen nog een citroensorbet en limoncello gekregen. Zeker aanrader deze!

28/07/2025: The young man who served us was kind and very friendly, genuine. The kids' area is huge and keeps even the liveliest kids busy. Nice place, the temperature was just right (I usually get cold in restaurants, but here it was nice). Perfect for birthday parties. I'll definitely be back.

03/03/2025: Per chia loves the traditional Venetian and Veronese osteria. Some dear city friends made me discover it. It's always worth a stop, even for a snack, a coffee or a glass of wine. Informal, with people of various ages and backgrounds. The pensioner, the worker, professional professor and more.

13/06/2025: I was there with a cycling group, a total of 43 people. Everything went perfectly. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

07/06/2025: Dated environment, clean even if a bit worn. We ate the pizza, good and well cooked.

30/07/2025: Beautiful presentation of the food. Quiet street off the beaten path. Homemade everything. We had the potato gnocchi with scallops and shrimp and the spaghetti with tomato and basil. Appetizer of grilled octopus with potato and honey onions was fabulous. Get a street table for lunch as the interior garden is too sunny. If I am ever back in Venice I would come in the evening and ask to sit there. Cost is worth every penny. We did not add drinks to our estimate.

22/07/2025: The owner, Pino, and his son, Lorenzo, are, first and foremost, excellent professionals: they know how to recommend unique pairings and refinements! Secondly, but no less importantly, they are extraordinary human beings!!! I have two apartments for tourists and always recommend EVERYONE to book at "VECIO PORTAL". I've never received a single complaint, only praise! But being able to say it firsthand (the pasta is homemade, as is the bread, desserts, etc.), I'm certain the food is top-notch. Both meat and fish, everything is authentic and delicious!!! See you next time!
