We had the best Tortelli con Sedano we've had in ages for lunch today. The pasta was incredibly delicate with a flavorful filling. The lasagna, Arrosto di Vitello, and everything else were also excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, too. Five stars plus for this country-style restaurant!

In Custoza for the Broccoli Festival, with too many people lined up to get into the marquee in Piazza Nuova, my wife and I decided to try this restaurant in S. Lucia ai Monti. We booked at the last minute; there were plenty of customers, but very few tables left. It was a good choice. Tortelloni with broccoli, broccoli with eggs for the main course, and a nice plate of salami. We drank a bottle of sparkling rosé from the Custoza winery. Everything was fine, even the bill.

We ate pumpkin tortelli, beef rib, and cooked vegetables, accompanied by a good bottle of Marion Cabernet. Everything was good (average), but the service was unresponsive, as one would expect from a restaurant of this type (especially considering the presence of two small children). It's hard to understand why some tables were offered limoncino and grappa at the end of the meal, while other select tables were not offered anything, not even at checkout.

The pike and polenta appetizer was truly delicious, despite the generous amount of oil I dripped off by tilting the plate. The steak was tender, and the wine was good.

17/05/2026: Fast service and friendly staff. Ample parking. Truly delicious tagliolini with truffle and parmesan cheese, and a well-topped pizza cooked in an electric oven. Overall, good.

03/05/2026: Local food served in record time by very friendly waiters!
03/05/2026: Location in the middle of nowhere, attached to the Veya bridge from which it takes its name. You can have lunch inside and be comfortably served, or takeout outside where there are plenty of tables and benches. We opted for the inside, nothing exceptional but everything very clean and functional. Served by super courteous and kind ladies (they accept our canine friends 👍), the food was simply fantastic... tortelloni filled with butter and sage, so simple yet fantastic (crunchy sage), chicken with potatoes, despite a lot of demand for the dish today, it was cooked to the perfect minute, not overcooked and dry nor internally raw, simply perfect and excellent flavor, potatoes with their skins 🫶, and what can I say about the grilled meat... everything tasty, cooked to perfection and of exceptional quality... wine on tap, volpicella... I drank it all, who knows why... They even offered us grappa... We took advantage of the fence and wished the owner a happy birthday... There was cod Vicenza-style... which I'll order next time... In winter, there's Pearà (you must try it). The prices may seem a little high, but after eating... you realize you paid the right price and ate everything well. Everyone gets top marks, even the cashier 👍👍👍👍
