07/11/2025: My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ca' Sagredo property again, 18 years after our honeymoon. We stayed in Junior Suite 102, which overlooks the Grand Canal, and we were absolutely stunned by its beautiful decor, immaculate condition, and impressive view. The sound of the church bells at sunset was truly unforgettable. Beyond the hotel's rich history, we were particularly grateful for the exceptional assistance from Beatrice, Hotel Guest Relations Manager. She went above and beyond to help me arranging surprises for my wife's anniversary. Her kindness, knowledge of hotel's and city's history, and excellent restaurant recommendations, combined with her special touch, made all the requested arrangements even better than I could have imagined. Starting each day in the magnificent historical ballroom with a fully stocked breakfast buffet, served by such professional staff, was another highlight of our stay. The hotel's location is also perfect, with direct access to the Ca’ d’Oro vaporetto stop, a gondola port, and a convenient water taxi service right at the door. Beatrice, thank you again for making my wife's anniversary a truly magical event. And to the entire team at Ca' Sagredo, thank you for your special attention and for making our return visit so memorable. We shall come back for sure

12/10/2025: A place where you can eat really well at a reasonable price. Both the first and second courses are excellent, and the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. The pear and chocolate cake wasn't exceptional, but it definitely fades in comparison to the rest. The only flaw, in my opinion, was the staff at times: friendly but sometimes a bit pushy and brash, plus the fact that I hadn't quite finished the bigoli in salsa when a waiter came to take my plate away. The service could be improved, but despite that, I think it deserves 4 stars for the value.

16/08/2025: A very large restaurant with ample parking. In the summer, outdoor seating is available with a small dance floor. In the winter, four rooms are available for any event. The food is mediocre, but table service is very fast and attentive. The desserts are delicious. The restrooms are located below the building, with a steep staircase leading to them, making them difficult for the elderly or those with mobility issues. In my opinion, people come here to enjoy company, regardless of the quality of the food. Perhaps the pizza options are a little better. Highly recommended if you're looking to party!

12/11/2025: Excellent. Lunch. After ordering, they offered us a plate with four slices of local coppa, SUBLIME. We then moved on to the radicchio lasagna (off the menu of the day), which was good and balanced. Pasta with beans and gnocchi were good. The grilled tomini with polenta was good. Cotechino with polenta and mushrooms was tasty, but it left me thirsty or had no digestive issues. Four desserts were offered (a homemade torta paradiso). With two side dishes, four coffees, one sambuca, one bottle of wine, and one bottle of water, it was €92. Very fair price. Reservations recommended.

09/11/2025: Authentic cuisine, tradition, Venetian dishes, those that take you back to beautiful tables whose simplicity tells a timeless story... well, this was my Sunday family lunch during a visit to the Sanctuary. We wanted to try typical dishes like bigoli in salsa, gnocchi with butter, sage, and almonds, the spectacular cod with soft polenta, cooked cheese with speck and mushrooms, and stewed cuttlefish. They also offered us a delicious plum cake made in the morning... in short, we truly felt at home, with the same family warmth despite the crowds. The price was very fair 🥂 I really hope that reviews like mine can really boost this wonderful restaurant scene, because places like this absolutely deserve support. Well done!!!

27/10/2025: Poor quality sausages served in a bowl full of boiled water! Disgusting! The sweetish mustard tasted awful! The draft beer was awful! Stale strudel served with pudding (supposedly vanilla custard) and canned cream for €25 per person. I don't recommend it.

12/10/2025: While passing through Verona, I stopped at this pub. The two guys at the tables were friendly and knowledgeable, the food was good, and the beer taps were truly top-notch! Both the owner and the waiter poured the beer perfectly. It's hard to find places in Italy with this level of expertise in the art of pouring beer! Congratulations!

03/10/2025: Gelateria Pinguì – Tried the ice cream. The portion was large enough. The service was friendly. The ice cream was tasty, but nothing special. I could only pay with cash.

22/10/2025: Recommended by friends, we tried this sushi à la carte, but apparently the quality of the food has recently declined. Four of us ate at this sushi place, but we didn't notice much difference compared to a regular all-you-can-eat place. It's easy to spend €40-50 per person. The staff is friendly and courteous. I have no complaints about the service, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.
