10/06/2026: Food was superb, the pizza and the pasta were really amazing and the tiramisu was amazing as well. They produce their own wines which were full of flavor, we had the ripasso and the amarone. Yet to try their sparkling wines. Very kind staff, chef and owners!! Worth the detour! Also nice views of the valley. Definitely recommend the place! Entrance is down the stairs.

19/04/2026: A gem in the Illasi Valley. A welcoming restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The dishes are carefully crafted and locally sourced, accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. The view of the Valpolicella hills is splendid.

21/06/2026: I discovered it by chance while looking for a restaurant for lunch outside Verona on my way back from a weekend getaway. It was exactly what I was looking for! A rustic house, in the countryside among olive groves. It's right next to a crossroads, but we'll find out why later. To enter, you ring the bell, just like at home. The interior has that lunchtime atmosphere, the coolness of rustic stone houses, almost dim light (and given today's heat, it's perfect). Signora Antonia welcomes us and shows us to the table. We're early, and we're the only ones there for now. We discover it's the family home, belonging to her grandmother and aunt (who still lives upstairs), who had a tobacco shop right at the entrance (on the crossroads) and over time has become a restaurant. It really feels like home. Everything is very familiar, meticulously prepared, and simple. Dishes change with the seasons. Pasta is handmade in-house. I recommend the tagliolini al taglio (hand-cut tagliolini) with beef and veal ragù, and the tagliata (sliced ​​steak). Authentic flavors. High-quality products. The atmosphere is perfect for finishing with a coffee; they only make moka pot coffee (I love it) and their own licorice liqueur. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. 11/11/2025: By far, the best all-around restaurant we visited in Italy. We are so glad we came upon this restaurant and would fly back to Italy just to enjoy their brunch again! The staff were incredibly kind and personable, patient with our attempts to order in Italian though we also easily spoke with them in English as well. We had brunch here two days while in Verona and ordered the same meals because they were so good we needed to taste them again! It is walking distance from the city centre and well worth it for the quality of the food and pastries they offer. Best cappuccino I had while in Italy, my husband’s favourite was their smoothie bowl. A hidden gem and a must-try during your trip to Verona.

17/04/2026: Truly a great experience, I had a great time. What can I say? We went as a group and tried the risotto trios. Unique flavors, but above all, very, very good. I must say the desserts were also truly excellent; you could really taste the high-quality products. The service was also very friendly, kind, and attentive. They even reserved a hill for us. I also really appreciated the small museum at the entrance where you can see the tools used for processing rice. Highly recommended.
