15/05/2026: The gelato is undoubtedly good (though not the best I've ever had). Be careful with the prices: there are quite a few collection flavors that are more expensive than normal. I paid €6 for a two-flavor gelato, which is definitely expensive.

29/05/2026: Highly Recommend! We had just arrived from The US and stumbled upon Oficina Ormesini. Their reception was warm and friendly, especially considering that we were exhaust from travel. The vibe was perfect and the cocktails and cichetti were outstanding, but the staff truly made for a great experience.

28/05/2026: We're writing this review in Italian because the waiter who treated us so badly today sarcastically told us that he "didn't understand Spanish" and that he only spoke Italian. Two years ago, we discovered this place during our trip to Venice and were thrilled. The service was excellent, friendly, and professional, so much so that we returned almost every night for a spritz. We even left a 5-star review recommending this place. We also vividly remember having the good fortune of meeting the owner or manager of the place, with whom we spoke several times in a very pleasant manner. He even told us that the tattoo on his arm was dedicated to his son. For this reason, the change in treatment we received today affected us even more, because we know very well what this place was like before. Precisely because of the wonderful memories we had, we decided to return on this trip. Unfortunately, today's experience was simply shameful. The waiter who served us on the terrace today was arrogant, aggressive, and profoundly rude from the very first moment. He practically kicked us out of the table because he'd decided on his own that we'd only have one drink, without even asking. In reality, we'd intended to order spritzes first, followed by cicchetti and other food, just as we'd done in the past. He also rudely scolded us for sitting down without asking, when there was no sign or indication specifying this. We tried to explain the situation politely, but it was impossible: he constantly interrupted us, wouldn't let us speak, and treated us with absurd disrespect. The saddest thing is that this place had left us with a completely different memory. Today, however, we felt humiliated, uncomfortable, and treated unworthy. We sincerely hope that the owner or manager reads this review and knows exactly who was working on the terrace today, because just one person can completely destroy the reputation of a place that once truly deserved it. We will definitely never return.

14/05/2026: Update May 2026: I returned to Metro Bar after two years, and everything was perfect once again! The food is still incredibly delicious. A particular highlight was how lovingly and carefully my request for the food to be prepared without salt was fulfilled. The team is truly dedicated, and it was the perfect complement to my holiday in Bibione. I'll definitely be back! Absolutely perfect – this is how holidays and dining should be. For me, the best restaurant.

14/05/2026: Excellent bottled wine (a convincing still white), accompanied by irresistible snacks. Excellent toasted sandwiches, particularly rich and appetizing. Outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Campo San Stin, bustling with children; inside, the tables are a bit cramped, Venetian-style, but accessible. Friendly staff.

03/04/2026: Extremely unpleasant staff. We sat down and they made us sit far from the canal to give our seats to tourists. Crazy prices. I ordered a sweet focaccia and got a badly cut Colomba. I don't recommend this place at all. Venice is beautiful because it's tradition. This bar doesn't reflect the essence of Venice in the slightest.

21/02/2026: Visiting from Japan. I ate breakfast here on my last day in Italy. The kind-looking lady was by herself, tending to local regulars. I ordered a prosciutto sandwich for €3 (photo right) and a cappuccino for €1.50. I was very satisfied with the breakfast I had in such a peaceful atmosphere.

31/05/2026: We had a delicious lunch for 4. The octopus was spectacular and it stood out from other great dishes. Tasty Aperol Spritz. Enjoyable chill atmosphere. Pleasant servers helped us choose our dishes. We had a couple of misunderstandings with an English language barrier.

28/05/2026: Amazing seafood, had really authentic sea bass and octopus (my favorite). Also a had such a friendly and nice staff. Highly recommend!

01/06/2026: Yesterday, May 31st, we stopped to eat at this place, 2 couples of bikers, excellent food, very good service. The girl who served us, Elisa, delightful and knowledgeable, made us a fantastic deconstructed tiramisu. I recommend it. Well done Elisa, keep it up!!!!!!
