My husband and I came here on the first night of our honeymoon. We didn't have a reservation, but we lucked out getting the last available table! Everything was impeccable. We ordered 4 courses to share, and they even divided the plates up for us for each course. The food was amazing -- the most tender seafood I've ever had. Highly highly recommend!!

A charming family-run restaurant with an authentic and imaginative menu. The food is delicious, perfectly portioned, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is tastefully cozy with a beamed ceiling and Murano glass sea creature lamps. The service is unobtrusive, very friendly, and attentive. Not a tourist trap and highly recommended!
Price per person: €60, including wine.

Hospitality is superior. Food is well prepared and served with a delicate craft. Ambience is one of local comfort with attentiveness. Let eyes adjust when entering... The restaurant then becomes bright. Restroom is clean and cared for with respect, the flowers indicate thoughtfulness. Didn't dismiss dessert although feeling full. Highly recommend.

We stopped at this restaurant somewhat by chance; we didn't have a reservation, but we didn't have to wait and were seated right away. The place doesn't have many seats, but it's quite well-kept. We ordered a first and second course; the first was definitely good, but we were disappointed with the second course. We both ordered cod, but what we got was basically potato soup, with only a few scraps of cod left in it, so we ate it with a spoon (€25). In conclusion, I wouldn't return.

We arrived at the restaurant on Wednesday because of its location; Google Maps showed it had good reviews, and it was close by. It was my first time in Venice, and I loved the food. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I've been to other restaurants in Venice these past few days—in San Marco, Murano, and Burano—and we've eaten identical dishes, but the flavor was incomparable. I recommend this restaurant 100%. I returned today, and the flavor was still the same; they've perfected each dish. We're delighted to have found a restaurant with authentic Italian flavor.
We highly recommend the spaghetti frutti di mare—it was fantastic! We'll be back.

Osteria Ca' del Vento is a hidden gem in Venice’s Dorsoduro district, offering a cozy and authentic atmosphere away from the main tourist crowds. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for high-quality Italian cuisine that blends Venetian seafood with traditional Puglian flavors.
The roasted octopus is a highlight—perfectly tender and served over a silky, flavorful puree.
Their Filetto di manzo is juicy and well-prepared, accompanied by delicious rosemary-roasted potatoes.
The Orecchiette with meatballs and the Fave e cicoria provide a comforting and authentic taste of southern Italy.
The artichoke hearts make for a fresh and tender side dish that complements the meal perfectly.
