15/03/2026: We were looking for an authentic restaurant where we could savor real Venetian cuisine, and we found it! Attentive and friendly service (I even asked if they had a candle for my partner's birthday, and the meitre went out to buy it!!!). As a child, my uncle used to fish for cuttlefish, and we'd eat them for lunch... Many years have passed, and although I longed to relive those flavors, I was apprehensive because if it hadn't been the freshest fish, it would have been a huge disappointment. But instead! Fantastic! Typical dishes cooked to perfection! The decor is elegant, authentic for a restaurant that's been open since 1890... wooden booths that look like hugs, gestures of welcome. Mirrors with dark wood frames, Venetian floors and vintage glass, placemats covering the chandeliers that recall the "hearth" of times gone by, and hanging copper pots. Wonderful! Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: We showed up without a reservation, but the staff were super nice and managed to find us a table. A simple but truly welcoming place. I recommend their meatballs; you can also get them to go.

07/10/2025: Food is served in Chinese takeaway boxes and there is a small area where you can stand to eat. They did not have the trofie pasta which is why I went there. Pasta with parmigiana is exactly €10 and you must pay cash- no credit cards. If you just want a small, quick bite with no hassle it’s fine.

03/10/2025: I do not recommend the pasta with truffle and mushrooms.. almost non-existent taste and no mushrooms, payment only in cash and hardly friendly waiter...

07/10/2025: Excellent value for money. The carbonara is very delicious and a huge portion. The potato side dish for the fried steak was a bit small. The waiters are very, very nice, courteous. They even knew a few words in Hungarian (they spoke English well). They didn't want to accept a tip, since the service charge is included in the price. It's advisable to give it in kp, if you want. (Since we were very satisfied, we did ;) The drinks were also reasonably priced. We didn't have to park, because the restaurant is on a pedestrian street and we were on foot, but there is parking in the neighboring streets.

15/09/2025: We return to this restaurant regularly every year. It offers a huge selection of seafood, pasta and fish. The speed is excellent considering the size of the restaurant. The food is really tasty and the waiters are pleasant.

20/07/2025: Visitó este hermoso lugar todos los días mientras visitaba Venecia. Los días que estaba cerrado, solo suspiré. Estoy feliz con los deliciosos pasteles más allá de la imaginación, y también un poco triste de no vivir más cerca. Cueste lo que cueste, esto es imprescindible para el comienzo de cualquier visita a Venecia. Si esperas hasta el último momento, lo siento, pero llorarás. El hermoso personal y el propietario (tradición familiar x 4 generaciones) han creado pastelería más allá de los sueños en Dosoduro. A pocos pasos de la parada de vaporetto de San Tomo

03/07/2025: I prezzi qui sono ragionevoli. Mi sono piaciuti i bignè alla crema, che erano deliziosi, e i pasticcini per la colazione erano deliziosi. Il caffè era rinfrescante. Il servizio era buono.

09/11/2025: Very slow service. We asked for dishes several times because they never arrived. The fish quality was very poor. Lunch lasted more than 3 hours.

08/10/2025: No experience to evaluate, since after an hour's drive, I found the place closed when the website and profile said they were open on Wednesdays. Really rude.

22/12/2025: Good breakfast. The hotel is a bit dated but still pleasant. The staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, we had a problem with the shower, which was clogged, and my husband couldn't use it because the water was leaking outside. Considering the price of the room (€120), we would have expected a little more attention or a discount for the inconvenience. Furthermore, the windows were closed and the room didn't get much natural light, which made the atmosphere a bit strange.

02/11/2025: Terrible experience. I went with my family, and we ordered several flavors of gelato, many of which were hard to distinguish from the others, all characterless. The bill was incredibly expensive! Truly expensive, unjustified given the low-quality product: heavy and cloying. And from the receipt, we also learned that the place is owned by a company that produces "gelato powder" in the Treviso area. It all makes sense. The icing on the cake was the rudeness of the blond guy at the counter wearing a chef's jacket, who addressed my daughter in a crude and arrogant manner. As a Venetian, I struggled to understand what he said. A truly negative experience.

02/11/2025: Mauro's gelato is the best, especially the hazelnut one: my favorite 🥰. The place is always tidy and clean! The staff are always kind, smiling, and helpful... 5+

16/01/2026: Very limited choice of vegan or lactose-free options! The vegan tart was good, but in my opinion, it was an industrial product. Today I had a vegan brioche that was awful to say the least. I didn't tell him, because there's no point anyway. The location is beautiful, the staff professional but perhaps a bit too serious.

06/04/2026: Today we came to eat at this place and we left very happy. Luckily we didn't pay attention to the reviews, they don't correspond to reality. They are neither racist nor have bad treatment. The food is delicious, the pizza dough is homemade. They didn't take long, which is normal if everything is made by them. We were able to have a coffee with vegetable milk, a plus! Without a doubt if it was closer to our house we would come back, unfortunately it takes us a little far hahahah Thank you very much! PS: it was so good that we didn't take any pictures!

01/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place and the food and the service was really good. Further away from the main square and although there were quite a few tables occupied,the food came really fast and it was really delicious. I had a risotto with sea food and the rest of the family had pizza,all really tasty!
