I wonder if those behind the counter ever taste the croissants they serve... but I think the answer is no otherwise it's hard to explain how bravely they sell them. But it doesn't end there, hot juice, ace juice obviously not available because they sell a carrot one and something else "organic" "vegan" etc. inside a similar bottle of prosecco, in short, the perfect recipe to sell you something that you don't want at two euros more than the classic ace juice. 21/08/2024: Ambiente carino, peccato per la musica casuale. Il servizio è formale e solerte, ma non sempre preparato, soprattutto sui vini. Il cibo è pretenzioso, materia prima nella norma, ma non certamente all'altezza dei prezzi. In particolare, gli spaghetti con le vongole, seppur abbondanti erano privi di sapore, legati da un addensante lattiginoso non meglio identificabile. In sintesi, un'esperienza non positiva: cercavamo una buona cucina di pesce, ma abbiamo trovato un locale standard, caro per ciò che offre e non all'altezza delle aspettative.

18/08/2024: It is no longer the restaurant it was a few years ago. The location is beautiful, unfortunately the service and quality of the food are nowhere near sufficient. Too bad, it was one of my favorite restaurants for a seafront dinner, but I definitely won't be going back.

17/08/2024: Terrible service. There was a very arrogant boy who served, the wait for the second course was endless, forced to ask the waitress to cancel all the second courses and since we were there for the sea not to stay all day waiting to eat. I remembered it much better!

31/08/2024: We came to this beach for a quick dinner and the location is beautiful, elegant and quiet, but the food did not live up to expectations. Fast service with attention to every detail, even if some waiters were a little awkward and there were some forgetfulness. We tried the sashimi mix, which was good but not too tasty and the Catalan shrimp and vegetable dish, which I really liked. I would return to try other dishes and be able to give a broader opinion.

06/08/2024: Terrible experience. -5 stars on the freshness of the products. I always try to do reviews after a few days to be more relaxed, but this time I can't help but express my discomfort. Venice is a wonderful city, but unfortunately full of tourist traps, and this place is a prime example. Despite being part of a chain, it's amazing how they sell products of dubious freshness. I'll explain: they put "fresh" bread on display, perhaps as soon as they realize you're a tourist, they give you hard bread from behind. The service is rude and the pizzas appear to be remade, with ingredients added to disguise old age. I know this review is heavy, but reviews exist for this reason: to highlight the honesty or dishonesty of a trader. I hope that this experience of mine can help other people avoid a bad surprise and not ruin their trip to beautiful Venice with possible indigestion..

24/08/2024: Very slow service. Good food. Partially recommended. Slow and inexperienced staff: they remove the plates while you finish eating or leave the dishes until the coffee arrives, even though you have finished eating. Friendly and helpful owner.

23/08/2024: Very bad food, the Italian food in Germany tastes a lot better. No soups, bad pasta that was cooked too long, salads without dressing and way too expensive.

03/03/2024: L’esperienza in questo locale è stata per me assolutamente pessima. Non posso giudicare il cibo che non ho testato e per come sono andate le cose, mai testerò. Giudico piuttosto la policy e l’atteggiamento al cliente. Siamo una tavolata di 12 persone dove tutti hanno ordinato tranne me che non volevo consumare nulla per motivi miei personali. Mi è stato detto dalla cameriera con occhiali, capelli lunghi e rossetto rosso acceso che c’è l’obbligo di consumazione. Ho dovuto per forza ordinare… Credo che di fronte ad una situazione del genere (tavolata di 12 persone, non due e non tre) il buonsenso dovrebbe avere il sopravvento e quindi consentire ad una delle persone che non può/vuole consumare, di poter comunque restare seduta al tavolo.

25/08/2024: Restaurant in Venice expensive quality/price ratio, €5 for soft drinks, €3 for filtered tap mineral water and pasta dishes (Spaghetti) at about €18 on average, we had booked but it was not full and no wonder, you can't pay €117 for a pasta dish for 4 and 2 desserts.....it's not honest with the cost or the preparation...plus the place was not very clean, I wouldn't recommend it.

24/08/2024: We went to this traditional Venetian-style trattoria and liked it a lot, their famous meatballs were good but I wasn't used to this style being from the South, the same goes for the overly garlicky clams but being open-minded and finding myself in the North I value them for the sensations that the food at the moment gave me good sensations of home-made dishes above all else, their Venetian liver was divine, everyone agrees North and South, we will definitely return because you can really breathe Venice

16/08/2024: Da tanti anni che lo frequento posso dire che ho sempre trovato pesce di ottima qualità e varietà. Personale preparato e titolare simpatica e competente. Da tornare e fa consigliare.

06/08/2024: With an empty restaurant the waiter wasn’t happy us choosing a table for 4 (no reservations on the tables at all). Getting drinks and food was relatively ok, but that was it. When we got food, we didn’t get any seasoning (like salt or pepper) and had to ask for it. No apology. No seafood lemon tissues when ordering a two fish plates and octopus. Waiter didn’t even ask if the child would need help with deboning the fish. Not a single question if we are happy with the food. 6yo daughter ordered pizza, but ate only a half. Nobody asked if we want to pack it. When wanting to pay, we were ignored (almost felt like they didn’t want us to pay) and had to go inside to speak to someone at a bar to pay. When asked if they can pack the second half of the pizza I was given a box to do it myself! Appalling when you are ordering three of the most expensive things in the menu (obviously apart from the pizza for a child). When speaking to the owner and giving feedback to get better I was told that this is all ok, NO IT IS NOT! Apparently people should pack the leftovers by themselves as the staff doesn’t know what we want to take. Maybe next time they will ask people to cook the food by themselves too as they may not know how we like it. So AVOID at all costs. There are better restaurants in Caorle with friendly (and not hostile) staff.

22/03/2024: I stayed one night for work, a few things should be reviewed (such as fixing loose baseboards, painting including the radiators and making it a little more modern by removing the carpet) the price is good and I didn't feel bad. Fixed menu or à la carte dinner.

20/03/2024: a hotel restaurant with conference rooms where you can hold meetings, the service received in 2019 was memorable when I organized a dinner with colleagues and former colleagues of Portotecnica, almost 100 people left at the end with a smile on their faces and satisfaction of the palate
