19/07/2026: My boyfriend was a regular customer in the past because of the pastries they sold at the counter. So we decided to choose them as our birthday cake shop because their chocolate is objectively one of the best. For two years in a row, we tried to talk to them about a cake. The first time last year, we were talking to a very kind girl who suggested we speak to the pastry chef (we wanted a simple mango and white chocolate cake), and a very rude lady interrupted the conversation, saying we wouldn't speak to the pastry chef because they don't make these cakes because it wasn't mango season and they didn't make cakes to suit individual tastes for a few people; we'd have to settle for one of the pre-made cakes in the fridge. All this after we went a month early and were incredibly rude. Obviously, we didn't pay a cent for the pre-made cakes displayed in the fridge (and they were always the same ones, too)!!! This year we decided to give it another try because we wanted a 3-chocolate cake and it seemed like the perfect place. The only change requested was to replace the white chocolate with gianduja. We walked in and immediately saw the same rude lady from last time, and we were already worried. By the time we asked for the change, she immediately interrupted us without even letting us finish, saying that they don't make any changes to their cakes, that their 3-chocolate has been made this way for 30 years and that they won't change the recipe or make any changes. All this without allowing us to discuss or compromise, with the same response as last time: if you don't want it that way, get one of the ones already in the fridge. Working in the restaurant business, both my partner and I didn't even bother arguing because when people are so rude and self-confident, it's pointless trying to find a reason. Bottom line: for the second time, we left empty-handed. There won't be a third time because we'll never set foot in there again, neither we nor our friends and family after these experiences (we weren't the only ones to have had problems with the staff). I'd advise the owner to carefully select the staff who interacts with the public, because the chocolate is good, no doubt about it, but if you have to be treated like dirt by this lady who feels superior to everyone else and won't let you ask for anything beyond what she wants, people get fed up and won't come back. I remember that it's very hard to make a name for yourself, but it doesn't take much (in this case, a lot of rudeness) to lose it.

09/08/2026: I've been here many times, but they must have changed management recently, otherwise it's inexplicable... They've gotten a lot worse.

09/08/2026: The food tastes decent, but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're really craving sushi and you're here. I highly recommend not getting coffee here. Even though they have an expensive machine that's as good as a coffee shop, they don't know how to use it, they don't clean the filters, I don't know, or they use a decent blend. Just avoid it!

29/07/2026: I was expecting pricey stuff but 7€ for a coke is a total disgrace. Maybe the food is good, but def not worth having a drink here if you can avoid it. The waiter Ali is also quite unfriendly. I do not recommend to stop here.

19/05/2026: We stayed at the hotel 2 nights in room 304. The first night we couldnt sleep at all due to the mosquitoes in the room. They gave us repellent but didnt change anything. The last morning I woke up with 11 bites in my face. Never again. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

02/08/2026: For us, it's a piece of history. We used to come here as children more than thirty years ago, but even today, every time we're in Folgarida, we return, finding the same friendly atmosphere and atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and has an unexpected selection of good alcoholic beverages. The prices have remained fair. The peak season is obviously winter, but Eta Beta is always a delight in the summer as well. It's definitely worth at least one visit, as a historic local institution.
