25/12/2025: Entering Pizzeria Jolly was like stepping back in time: I felt like a child again, when my grandmother used to take me to the pizzeria with her. A simple, authentic atmosphere, which is increasingly rare today. The pizza was good, well-made, with carefully selected ingredients and prepared as they used to be. But the real added value of this place is the people. Giulia, a very young woman, was simply wonderful: polite, sweet, friendly, and very attentive, even with my son. She has a way of doing things that immediately wins you over, instilling passion and respect for the customer. Truly, very sweet. Kudos also to Marco, the boy who prepares the pizzas with the older man: talented, focused, and so eager to work. It's wonderful to see such young people grow up with manners and respect for their work and for people. Jolly isn't just a pizzeria, it's a place where you can feel the humanity. I'll definitely be back...

08/12/2025: Really delicious pizza! Easy to digest and good dough. Excellent desserts, and with Leffe Rossa beer, the pizza was the best. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

03/02/2026: A beautiful mountain hut with a stunning view of the Belluno Prealps. The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly, serving traditional dishes like pastin (a kind of pasta) or grilled cheese, and more. Try the orange grappa and coffee!

07/03/2026: We visited in winter; the refuge is just below the cable car arrival point. The place is truly beautiful, but above all, the food is truly delicious. For anyone interested, whether kids or others, they also do pizza. If there are more than two of you and you want to eat at the restaurant, I absolutely recommend making a reservation, as it's always very busy. Otherwise, there's an excellent bar service, but you have to make do to find a seat. The price is reasonable. The service is a bit brisk (normal considering the number of people passing through), but efficient and absolutely courteous.

02/03/2026: Definitely the best pizza in Falcade! I highly recommend this place, been there twice during my 1-week holidays in Falcade. Great vibe inside and very friendful, nice, young stuff with good English.

27/02/2026: Here's the thing: you arrive in a group, and you need to feed the pack. Given the local culture, the first thing that came to mind was pizza. So we stopped at Pizzeria La Stua, and the result was disappointing. A 2.5-hour wait (on a Monday) for six pizzas we were going to pick up to go! What on earth possessed you? The pizza boxes were dripping with unappetizing grease, which completely covered the back seat of my friend's car. We were in stitches at the state of the pizzas, with mushrooms that looked like they were trying to start a family, and oil everywhere, dripping like volcanic lava. They definitely need to improve the quality of their food. Okay, maybe it was just an off day, hence my average rating. Maybe I'll get revenge?

28/02/2026: We're going to dinner with a group of friends and lots of children. The tables are far apart, when it would have been enough to put them at a table behind their parents', isolating the group from the rest of the restaurant. Instead, two parents always get up to check on the little ones. At 9:30 PM, the chef leaves and closes the kitchen... so why are you staying open for dinner?! If you don't order everything right away, at 9:15 PM, there are shocked looks, then annoyance, when someone asks for an extra dish. We should all be sent to Romagna for a crash course in customer service. A chef from Romagna gets out of bed and goes chasing the cow if you ask for a rib-eye steak outside of normal hours.

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve. It's important to note: it's not our first time here; we have a house nearby, and we've always had a great time. The food is good, the atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. For these very reasons, we chose it to celebrate New Year's Eve. For the occasion, we were offered a smaller menu, with some seafood options (from the mountains?). When asked about the provenance of the fish, the waiter had to go to the kitchen to find out, which was a bit perplexing: it's hard to accept that someone doesn't know where the produce you're serving comes from, especially for dishes like €35 lobster linguine. The final answer was "American"—a rather generic definition, considering how "big" America is. It's also disappointing not to find a single one of their classic dishes (cheese, pastin, or polenta). The prices, decidedly higher than usual, were still acceptable, considering it was a New Year's Eve party. What really left us perplexed, however, was the handling of midnight. At 11:30 PM, noticing that some people were already leaving, we asked if there was a free toast. The response was that "they were considering offering something," a rather odd statement half an hour before midnight. After about ten minutes, we were informed that, to toast, we would have to order and pay. Midnight arrived without any countdown, without a moment of sharing or a small symbolic gesture. Let's start by saying that we know the restaurant's atmosphere well and weren't expecting disco music, but at least a minimum amount of attention to celebrate the arrival of the new year was welcome. The evening ended with a bill of around €80 per person. Frankly, for that kind of money, offering at least a glass of prosecco would have been a much-appreciated gesture, fitting for the occasion. It's a shame, because it's still a restaurant where the food is good, but the New Year's Eve experience definitely fell short of expectations.

27/09/2025: We stayed here as part of our hike on the Dolomites High Route 1. Unfortunately, the hut didn't really impress us, and that has nothing to do with its age. The dining room is very, very noisy. After a strenuous day of hiking, it's unfortunately not particularly comfortable to sit in. Perhaps some curtains, rugs, or panels on the ceiling would help?! Furthermore, the food ordering system is questionable. Only one person in the hut could take care of it. With a full hut, it took a correspondingly long time and dampened the spirits of the hungry guests. Furthermore, a lot of waste was produced during the meal, as absolutely everything (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.) was served in small portions. We know how difficult it is to bring things like food to a hut in the middle of the mountains, but here I would like to appeal to the environmental aspect, because a good solution can definitely be found for these things, also in the interest of the environment. The rooms were small and damp. Since we were there during a heavy rain, a lot of water leaked in through the window frame. The staff didn't seem to be new to the issue. It also felt like there were too many people at the hut for the restrooms, as there were constant lines outside. The sunrise the next day was somewhat reassuring, as it, along with the view, was magnificent.

13/01/2026: When we arrived, there was no one there, and it was already 1 p.m. They didn't bring us menus, saying they hadn't received all the supplies, so they only showed us certain dishes. We paid over €100 each for an overcooked, unsalted first course and a second course of truly poorly cooked meat.
