20/11/2025: Passing by Lake Garda, we asked Google's artificial intelligence where to eat the best tortellini in Valeggio, and the answer was: the best is Alla Borsa. There may be other restaurants in Valeggio that are better than this, but Alla Borsa is certainly a gem that's hard to match. A warm welcome, professional and speedy service, and an interesting menu rooted in local specialties. After our usual salad (fresh and plentiful), we chose salmon trout carpaccio and prosciutto crudo with (wonderful) homemade mustard as an appetizer. Both were excellent. And then, above all, the typical Valeggio tortellini, with a pasta so thin it's hard to understand how they stay together. After all, there's a tradition that has lasted generations. The Valpolicella Superiore and Custoza (by the glass, and a very generous portion at that) were excellent, and the price was fair, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and craftsmanship. This restaurant will become a regular stop for us. Thanks Gemini for the great recommendation!

17/11/2025: Must try at least once in your life. Minimalist, modern, very clean and well-kept, quiet atmosphere, not at all noisy, soft lighting. Reservations are definitely required, and there are shifts to do so; it seats a maximum of 55 customers. I came with my boyfriend, pizza lovers that we are, and I must say it absolutely did not disappoint—in fact, quite the opposite! The ideal would be for two couples to come to sample the various options, but we decided to eat and sample as many as possible. There are pizzas for 4 or 8 slices; we ordered four of them because we couldn't stop to try them all! The Margherita is a must, as it allows you to fully appreciate the top-notch dough and the carefully selected ingredients (the tomatoes tasted just like grandma's homemade ones, straight from the garden). The other pizzas with unique doughs (corn/barley/whole wheat) are also very popular, and if I really had to point something out, I'd recommend mentioning them on the price list because the dough type isn't specified. I'd read some less-than-favorable reviews about the staff, but I have to say they were really friendly and knowledgeable, especially the girls who served. The welcome drink was also very much appreciated. I highly recommend it! Congratulations, it deserves all the positive reviews.

05/10/2025: Surrounded by greenery, this space is perfect for dinners, birthdays, weddings, events, etc. It deserves five stars, first and foremost for the service—all the staff are cheerful and attentive—but also for the quality of the food they serve. In short, it's definitely worth it!

11/10/2025: What a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Venice. After finding our way through a maze of streets, we stumbled across what can only be described as an escape from normalcy in a gorgeous setting. We were promptly greeted by an amazing host who told us we can choose from two different menus or we could simply do whatever we wanted and select dishes from either or both. What fun! We decided to do à la carte and have a little fun. While I swear our 4 course meal turned into something more like 17, we never wanted or lacked for food. At this volume, a couple of bites here and there may have been hit or miss but the reality is overall it was such a strong showing. They also provided a fantastic wine pairing, asking what part(s) of the world you wanted to enjoy! Additionally, they created a non-alcoholic pairing as well. You can’t beat the pairing that came in the most amazing hand blown glass with a kissy fish face. Ultimately it left us with a sense of happiness, fulfillment, and a little bit of relaxation on our vacation to Venice. Highly recommend.

07/10/2025: We centered our entire trip to Venice around dining at Glam, and it was meant to be the highlight of my wife’s 40th birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the elegance of the setting and the warmth of the service. Our evening began with cocktails in a room fit for royalty, accompanied by a beautifully curated selection of small bites to awaken the palate. We then moved to the restaurant for the main experience and my goodness, the artistry and flavors were simply extraordinary. Every course was a masterpiece, paired perfectly with a wonderful wine recommended by the sommelier. However, partway through the meal, my wife unexpectedly fell ill. The staff could not have been more compassionate or professional. They immediately offered her hot water with honey, a comfortable place to rest in the courtyard, and genuine concern for her wellbeing. When it became clear we needed to end the evening early, I approached the team to pay for our meal and, to my astonishment, they gently refused any payment. Their kindness left us truly speechless. My wife has a genetic heart condition which is usually well controlled, but on rare occasions she experiences atrial fibrillation unfortunately, it happened on this special night. The empathy and understanding shown by the team at Glam turned what could have been a difficult memory into one of gratitude and admiration. Yes, Glam absolutely deserves its two Michelin stars for its extraordinary cuisine and artistry but just as importantly, it is run by people with genuine heart. We will most certainly be back.

25/11/2025: We come to this restaurant often, and each time it's a confirmation: the food is always excellent. The meat is of the highest quality, cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are always fresh and flavorful. The staff is courteous, professional, and very attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The wine list offers a wide and well-curated selection, with labels to suit all tastes. The value for money is more than fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the service. Personally, I consider it one of the best restaurants in Venice. Highly recommended.
