26/10/2025: After a wonderful hike, we visited the Bergl Alm and were thrilled! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. I would especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent; the South Tyrolean specialties are simply delicious. The portions are generous, and the value for money is good. The cozy atmosphere and the sun terrace are the perfect place to linger and relax—just the right place to recharge after a hike. The Bergl Alm is an absolute must for every hiker and mountain lover in Kurzras. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

02/03/2026: A short, sad story. Viennese takeout pizza = pure tomato preserves, but above all, it's sensational. I find the sausages soggy, thrown away raw after cooking. 🤣🤣🤣 I've never seen anything like it, I don't know if it's more worthy of a review or a nas. Flour under the pizza, so even rolling it out isn't good enough. Extremely thin dough, but hard to digest. We laugh about it, but it's not so good, how can you do it? Do these people at home eat raw, soggy, gelatinous sausages without the taste of cooking? Not even the dog at my place! Expensive too. P.S. I'll add: provola-speck pizza with tasteless provola, and whatever... but above all, the speck is cut, you know, like a sort of short julienne instead of slices, unpalatable. From Italian staff we expect a minimum of gastronomic culture, the basics, eh, not more... for a pizza... guys, learn to eat before cooking for others, otherwise it's better to leave it to the kebab shops who do better, at least in Caldonazzo for sure 😂😂😂😂

10/03/2026: Great mountain hut, but unfortunately the service is disappointing. We and other guests had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. Not a word about "it'll be a while." Luckily, we had ordered two drinks at the same time. It's just so disorganized. We will only recommend the hut with reservations, even though we used to enjoy it and went there often. The picture is from two years ago.

14/10/2025: Excellent pullpork burger and equally good apple pie. This mountain hut is different from the others and the food is excellent. The staff is fast and friendly.

06/10/2025: A fantastic restaurant in South Tyrol! Freshly made pizza from the stone oven at super-reasonable prices! Absolutely fantastic! The Nutella pizza for dessert is also incredibly delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for a delicious place to stop after a hike. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. Top-notch!

29/09/2025: Very tasty pizza with fresh ingredients. Upon request, our pizza was made vegan, but there were also vegan alternatives on the menu. Friendly staff and good prices!

08/02/2026: Alm, an hour's walk from Truden. It looks newly built. Very nice. Prices are a bit high compared to the surrounding area.

03/01/2026: 5 Stars - An Unforgettable New Year's Eve at the Schmiederalm! Dear Schmiederalm Family, we would like to thank you for the unforgettable stay! Our 5 nights in room number 1 were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the bed and balcony was simply breathtaking! The mountains at sunset – magical! Breakfast was a highlight every morning. A generous platter of cold cuts and cheeses on every table, a large bread basket, and fresh eggs made to order. Dinner in the traditional dining room was superb and cozy. The Strauben (a type of Austrian fried pastry) was another highlight! But the best thing was the incredibly friendly hosts! Even Grandpa helped out. And of course, we mustn't forget the super cuddly cat! The Schmiederalm's location is perfect for hikers and skiers. We were in fantastic ski resorts within half an hour and were also able to enjoy wonderful hikes. We highly recommend the Schmiederalm and will definitely come back again in the summer! 29/01/2026: I was in Bressanone to visit the Christmas markets. I had lunch at this wonderful restaurant/wine bar, offering a wide selection of Alto Adige wines. The owner, Mr. Christoph Mayr, was very helpful in fulfilling all our requests and provided an excellent welcome.

06/01/2026: An incredibly enjoyable lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food, wine, and service were all excellent. The tagliolini with parsley and guinea fowl ragu was particularly memorable and delicious.
