The food here is good, in a lovely rustic wooden setting. Try it and enjoy.

The refuge is located near many beautiful trails, and if there's snow, it's always a good idea to bring snowshoes and/or other suitable equipment to avoid sinking and getting your feet wet. I stayed in the 4-person room, and it was warm, cozy, and perfect for a group. The large shower is nice, but the curtain lets a little water splash onto the wood, which I think could deteriorate over time. I'd suggest adding a small table/shelf or something in the bathroom to put your things on. A hook for hanging towels, at least, would be a good idea. The beds are very comfortable and very clean! The food is really good, and the service is excellent. I'd happily stay here again, especially for the truly excellent value! The staff was excellent, and the young woman who served us throughout our stay was friendly.

We had a wonderful meal. Ilenia and Roberto, who run it, are delightful. We'll be back!

A very quaint and welcoming refuge. We stopped for lunch after a snowshoe hike.

We stayed one night at the Rifugio, very nice and welcoming, the staff and owner were very kind and helpful, the room was comfortable and the home cooking was much appreciated, the landscapes were enchanting and the paths were also accessible to children.

This place is truly beautiful 🤩 The food is delicious. I had tagliatelle with venison ragù that was out of this world. The menu isn't huge, but everything on it is delicious and served with great care. The staff is very courteous and helpful, not to mention the beautiful postcard you see when you arrive! I highly recommend it.

This is our third time at the Serot refuge, and it was a dream... alas, this time we were very disappointed... 1) the French window to the terrace was broken. 2) Then we encountered a group of 20 kids who made a racket until late at night... with doors constantly slamming. We can't say we got any rest. A dream turned nightmare. The end!!!!

Fantastic location at a suitable altitude among the mountains, snow, and great company. Well-appointed rooms and a very charming and authentic atmosphere.
