We ate here for two days: the first day, spaghetti with clams, delicious and well-made; the second, spaghetti with seafood, even better, truly flavorful. The pastiera was fantastic, not to be missed. The owner is very friendly, and the atmosphere is genuine and authentic. A simple place where you eat well and have a great time. Recommended!

24/11/2025: Where to begin... everything about this pizzeria is wrong. Starting with the fact that there wasn't even a table to sit at. The staff was rude and disinterested. When I asked if basil could be added, I was rudely told they didn't have any. The pizza was disgusting and paper-thin. The prices were exorbitant and the quality of the ingredients was extremely low. The restaurant was small and dirty. The staff told me they're from Albania. So you can imagine the authenticity of the pizza. All in all, the experience was terrible. I strongly advise against even considering coming here.

22/10/2025: Wow, we arrived half an hour after opening and were told in a really friendly tone that it would take a little while as the pizza oven was still preheating. Of course that wasn't a problem, we weren't that hungry yet. The children were busy with their art supplies. We were allowed to take the dog with us. When ordering food, we had a few surprises: they didn't have all the pizzas on the menu because they had run out of one or more ingredients. The same thing happened with the pasta. There were only 3 out of about 8 varieties available. But... when we decided on spaghetti, the chef came over with 2 types of spaghetti, practically as a sample, to show us which one we wanted! The whole visit was so friendly and welcoming that even months later we still like to talk about it. Most importantly, the food tasted fantastic!!!

05/05/2026: The place is completely overpriced. €100 for two for three courses in total. The bloc de foie gras costs €17.50 and is practically nonexistent on the plate. The sliced ​​beef is 150 grams of meat. Only the first courses are worth the price. The place itself is in a soulless warehouse; it feels like a diner. This is not the case. In places like this, you can't spend more than €50 a person and not even know what you've eaten.

24/05/2026: The egg burger... It's my absolute favorite burger, but one like that shouldn't come from a place famous for these things. The egg was obviously forgotten on the grill, the same goes for the meat. I didn't even touch it. I understand that mistakes cost money, but I can't pay for them as a customer. You don't even let someone like that come to my table, and you pretend nothing happened all night, seeing it sit there, then asking me if I want to take it away?! Fine, I'll throw it away 😅😓 I'll never pay before eating again! €9.00 thrown in the toilet + Another €9.50 for the pizza that I had to buy for dinner instead of my beloved egg burger😭 I'm giving 2 stars because at least the onion rings and the rest weren't bad (for a total of 37 euros or more) we're definitely not there... I don't know maybe they changed chef or management, because in the past I've never had these problems, reluctantly and with regret I have to strongly advise against it if you intend to spend more than €15.

No, you come to Frank & Serafico also because it makes you feel good here, because you're surrounded by, if you know how to see and listen, the beauty of simple and therefore precious things.

05/04/2026: My family and I just left our Easter lunch without paying. Frank was one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I'd been coming there for five years, and today, the first day under new management, was a terrible experience—one to truly forget. Neither my mom nor her husband have ever experienced anything like this. We arrive, no one greets us, and I make my way through to figure out who to ask for seats. We sit at our table. We had reserved for 1:30 PM, but we arrived slightly late and were seated at 1:45 PM. A small aside: there were seven tables occupied with a total of about 20 to 30 people, so it was almost empty. Browsing the menu, we notice that some prices have gone up, about 20% from what I recall. After a 15-minute wait, we order five dishes to be brought to us all at once to share. Minutes pass, after 45 minutes I ask how we're doing and the waiter tells me "another 2-3 minutes and we'll be there" and after an hour, at 3 pm (by now not hungry and also annoyed), 3 of the 5 dishes requested arrive (one of them was the tartare - preparation time maybe 1 minute, just for the plating, and it hadn't arrived!) without even an apology for the insane wait and telling us "here, they were preparing". In the meantime, I had asked for another still water (which never arrived). Three dishes arrive and the burger my mom requested, telling the waiter (who was the only one in the room and who actually turned out to be the new manager) to remove the cheese and bacon from the bun. It arrives with the bacon and cheese. At that point my mom gets up and goes to take it back and they say that it was instead addressed to another table and that they would remake it. My mom returned to the table, and at that point I also got up to tell him that the other courses weren't being served because it was 3 PM and we weren't hungry and we wanted to leave. At that point, the drinks and cocktail assistant (who was also under the previous management, the only one who remained since everything changed) told my mom not to address him that way because she was working, annoyed, and annoyed. At that point, I tried to speak to the waiter, who claimed to be the new manager, and he prevaricates without apologizing or offering any explanation, simply saying, "If you don't like it, you can leave." I swear, nowhere in the world have I seen a manager behave like that, saying something like that, I almost laughed! I responded very forcefully, saying that you clearly have a problem and that you should be less arrogant and more humble. Then I told him to look around and see how many people were there, and I asked him if it was normal that out of all the tables he has (about thirty), only seven were occupied—two with two people and one with three of us. I repeated, "Do you think that's normal?" and "Is that the way to respond to a customer?" I said, "It wouldn't last long if this is the way things are going and the new management's good morning." In all this, the only one who behaved professionally and humanely was the chef, who left the kitchen and, apologetically, said it was his fault. What can I say? We were about to leave to get our bikes and head back to Alberese, and in the meantime, a girl came running out, asking us what had happened. We told her, and she, too—a customer of Frank and Serafico for 10 years—was surprised that they'd been there since 1 PM and by 3 PM had only received one dish to share...they hadn't even had lunch yet. She was quite angry and surprised, not realizing it could turn out like this. And I/we too, honestly... with a change of management, it's normal for things to be subdued compared to before. Certain things change, certain balances... but this is a complete disaster. Never again. I can't help but create bad publicity for everyone and strongly advise against it—at least until they reopen, and I think, if they keep going like this, it will be soon (I hope so). P.S.: The only glass of wine brought to my mom's husband was cloudy and had sediment.

14/06/2026: A peaceful and relaxing weekend with friends. The property is beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained, with two pools, one for children. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with every comfort, including air conditioning and a kitchenette. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection and quality products. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return soon!

07/06/2026: We stopped for lunch at Le Burle after 2:00 PM, one of the few restaurants open in the area. They seated us in the back of the restaurant, which is cooler and airier. We ordered sautéed mussels and pici cacio e pepe with bottarga. The mussels were truly excellent, especially the flavorful sauce that accompanied them. The pici were also excellent, although the bottarga was barely noticeable. Prices are quite high: most entrees are around €20, with the exception of the pasta with meat sauce. The service, however, was less convincing. Despite the restaurant being sparsely crowded, the staff seemed inattentive, engaging in lengthy private conversations with some customers at the next table. It would be interesting to also offer a version of cacio e pepe without bottarga, to offer a more affordable alternative.
