However, the waitress didn't rinse or change the spatula between flavors, which can be very problematic for people with food allergies. Fortunately, this wasn't the case for me, as there was mango in my chocolate ice cream, but I think this information is worth sharing!

20/12/2025: On our way to the port of Civitavecchia, we were looking for a good place to have lunch near our itinerary. But that's not the criteria for arriving at Oste Scuro! You have to come here specifically! Excellent food. Excellent ingredients expertly prepared. Respectable wines. And, last but not least, attentive, friendly, and professional service. 10/11/2025: I'd already been to this magical place with two couples of friends and it was a fantastic weekend! Now, 15 years later, I'm back with my husband and I must say it's a real pleasure, absolutely nothing has changed! It feels like paradise: immersed in nature in a place where old-fashioned values ​​prevail, starting with the delicious meals served at large tables, where you have the chance to meet new people every day. There are no TVs in the rooms, and there's no internet service (only in the reception) or phone signal (only TIM). In the evenings, everyone gathers around the fireplace: some play cards or board games, others play guitar, or, in our case, we all found ourselves roasting chestnuts in the fireplace together. The horseback rides are wonderful, from two-hour excursions to multi-day treks. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been; even solo travelers feel completely at ease in the group. I plan to return soon.. I definitely won't wait another 15 years!!

09/11/2025: An oasis of peace surrounded by nature We spent a few days at Agriturismo Il Cornacchino and were thrilled! The place is simply enchanting: immersed in greenery, surrounded by woods and animals, it offers a bucolic and carefree atmosphere, perfect for truly unwinding. The property is meticulously maintained, the rooms clean and welcoming, and the cuisine excellent—simple, authentic, and rich in authentic flavors. We also loved the selection of local spirits at the bar, truly unique! A huge plus is the kindness and warmth of the staff, always available and smiling, who make you feel right at home. Furthermore, Il Cornacchino is dog-friendly: our dog Ozzy had a blast running free and playing in the nature… a true vacation for him too! The location is strategic for visiting the area's main attractions, such as Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, and San Casciano dei Bagni. We also tried the riding experience: I rode a horse for the first time and they took me into the woods—an unforgettable moment, in direct contact with nature and these beautiful animals. 17/09/2025: We were confronted by a closed door! Even though they were supposed to be open! So call ahead to make sure they're open!

07/11/2025: We came here today for a quick business lunch and found the ladies super friendly and the dishes excellent. The mixed crostini were simple but delicious, the tortelli were good, and the pici with mushrooms and sausage were very good. I also found the house wine pleasant. When we're back in the area, I definitely think I'll be back to try the main courses.

29/08/2025: This place is simply AMAZING 💫 one of those rare finds that are still hidden from the world for locals and curious travelers to enjoy. Where do I start, honestly?! Surrounded by their vineyards and olive trees, this place is a restaurant but also a brewery 🍻They produce their own magnificent wine 🍷 and gin! Delicious food 👌🏽The snacks we had were 🔝same as the desserts.

27/08/2025: An excellent spot for an outdoor aperitif or dinner. Their wines are good (especially the reds), the ribs are excellent, and the wild boar sticks are a must-try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you can purchase their wines, gin, and more directly from their shop. A must-try if you're in the area for an evening.

26/12/2025: I had a great time. I had the gnocchi with a saffron sauce and the Chiusdino sausage. It was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and very friendly. I don't understand what people are complaining about. And the prices were fair. I'll be back for an aperitivo. 😉

05/11/2025: Cleanliness, hospitality, and quality = professionalism A key ingredient for success. Stefania is a winner and has a very capable manager. What could be improved? The male staff lack empathy for the environment they work in: cold, never smiling, and lacking vivacity. The baristas' attire needs attention. The outside area is a bit cold, in my opinion. I don't remember if it's there, but the door leading to the back of the lab should be closed. I was distracted by Stefania's eyes and smile.

16/01/2026: A modern and pleasant place offering a wide variety of dishes. The ingredients are top-quality, the pizza is rich and has a soft, extremely light dough. I recommend trying the whole-grain version, if available, for extra flavor and indulgence. The staff is very friendly, and considering the number of people who frequent the place, including takeout, the wait times aren't that long. I'll definitely be back to try the food.

23/10/2025: Fabulous location when you can eat outside overlooking the square. The interior is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A typical Tuscan menu with generous, quality portions, plus pizza and appetizers. Reservations are recommended from April to September. Good value for money.

10/10/2025: Very tasty. It's worth checking out the dishes on the blackboard; they're much more interesting than the regular menu. The place overlooks the cathedral and piazza, but doesn't feel like a tourist spot. Fair prices. Negroni for €5!

The atmosphere is simple and clean, yet characterized by a modern style and sophisticated background music...great courage and self-confidence with an open, glass-walled workshop. Great kindness in the service and the pleasure of seeing two families dedicated to their work.
