03/10/2025: I went to this bar and restaurant for lunch with my friends. At first, it seems like a typical bar-cum-restaurant inside the Empoli shopping center, but then once you start eating, it becomes a full-fledged restaurant. The fish is truly phenomenal; it feels like a seaside restaurant. I often come back to eat here, because it's always a guarantee. My favorite dish, which I always order, is the seafood trio, which features three different fish dishes, and the great thing is that every time I go, I find it with different ingredients. The service is very attentive, especially from a brunette lady who I believe is the owner. Congratulations 👏

14/07/2025: We went there based on a recommendation from chatgbt, which said it was in the Michelin Guide 2024. However, the service was poor. I didn't like the design of the plates. Even when we sat at the table, we waited a long time for drinks.

12/10/2025: Hmm. That was a truly disappointing experience. The pizza dough was terribly dry by Italian standards, even though it was supposedly a Neapolitan pizza, and it basically tasted of nothing.

24/09/2025: One star, really, but because I'm good. A mediocre first course with frozen fish. And the bill was quite high, and for real money, not like their food... if you can, go elsewhere!

11/09/2025: I ordered a cake for my birthday, which was described in great detail, and my requests were met perfectly. The staff was kind and smiling, and above all, available for anything. Both I and all my guests loved the cake.

09/10/2025: Recently renovated bar, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food and coffee for the price, being centrally located. They also have an indoor dining area and a small garden. A stone's throw from Santa Maria Novella station.

16/08/2025: I ask for Lemonsoda and get an 18cl Schweppes...standing for €3.50. What can I say? I noticed, and the waitress responded without sympathy. The desserts are good, but the service could be improved.

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona. Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci. Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale. Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €. Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici. Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona. Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto. I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard. Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.

21/02/2025: Cambio la precedente recensione per sottolineare quanto una gestione oculata faccia la fortuna di certe attività (insieme alla qualità del cibo e del bere). In una precedente occasione c'era stata un'incomprensione - causata anche da mia inesperienza - che aveva portato ad una brutta esperienza, ma il titolare e il direttore hanno fatto sì che l'impressione tornasse quella di prima, ovvero di un luogo di eccellenza.

02/09/2025: If I could give a zero, I would. Last week. I was craving food, I was out walking, and I hadn't been to Michele's in years: I said to myself, let's go. I wish I'd never done it. 3 euros for a small square of microbial pizza. Let's remember that, given the average price of pizza in Lido and the size of the square, it would mean paying between 30 and 40 euros for a standard whole pizza. But let's talk about pizza. The worst motorway service station makes them better. Microbial little pieces of rubbery dough. The mozzarella on top looks like the kind used on cheap frozen pizzas. Dry and barely topped. I wanted to throw it away. Then, remembering I'd overpaid for it, I forced myself to finish it. I'll never go there again, not even under torture. Calling this shapeless substance "pizza" would be like calling vomit a rich selection of appetizers from Michelin-starred chefs.

03/06/2025: Top environment for ease of reaching, beauty of the location, hospitality and attention towards families and customers in general and quality of the gastronomic offer. The pizza is notable...one of the best I've ever eaten...highly recommended

04/08/2025: The place is beautiful. But the ramen isn't up to par. My ramen was incredibly salty, while my brother's was tasteless. I had to order some of his soup to counteract the saltiness of mine. The service was average. The prices were too high for the quality.

14/06/2025: Prenotato tramite sito, come indicato da loro, abbiamo avuto la conferma di prenotazione Ci siamo presentati (nel centro di Firenze, quindi non facile da raggiungere e soprattutto trovare parcheggio) e il ristorante era chiuso per ferie. Questa chiusura, da giugno ad agosto compreso, non viene indicata né sul sito né sui social del ristorante. Pessima comunicazione

18/06/2025: I find this place very good both for breakfast and for aperitif. The waiters/waitresses are very nice and friendly. Then there is the owner, Mr. Giovanni Serafini, who is incredibly friendly and generous!

30/05/2025: The lady is very rude and also some of the counter staff... shame because the desserts are excellent

02/07/2025: A very normal ice cream that I didn't like, but beyond this, I don't think it's fair that when you ask for a €2.50 ice cream with two flavors including cream, the cost increases by 0.50 cents.

27/05/2025: Surely the raw material will be good and of quality but I didn't like the "creamy" taste and also the flavours are not very different from each other despite the fact that it is not very sugary.

14/10/2025: I am English speaking however do speak italian. I am still awaiting a sizeable refund after over 1 month. Customer service staff are awful and few staff actually want to help you. I keep getting told they are dealing with it. Chat button on website doesn't work and each time it is a 2 hour trip for me. In dtore isnt much better. When you are for help Instead of them taking you to item and upsetting or suggesting alternatives. You are told where to find item and then have to trawl through the store to find it. Customer service training desperately needed at Pisa. Will look at other companies in future shame because I have always shopped there.If you don't speak fluent italian don't go there.

14/10/2025: As always, IKEA is fantastic, just like home! I recommend improving the checkout staff, as they should be helpful. Some of them are very arrogant, and in my opinion, they shouldn't be there... they ruin your day. (I recommend it.)
