03/12/2025: I'm just leaving this little trattoria where I promised the owner I'd write a review... I don't write many, but this one was due. Being in the area for work, I stopped here at La Casina. It's a friendly, welcoming place, with limited seating but a reasonable menu. They offer both a la carte options and a €15 fixed menu (starter, main course, and side dish). I think they're very busy at lunchtime with nearby businesses, as all the tables were taken. Despite this, I decided to order the dish of the day, which consisted of pappardelle with wild boar. The pasta was delicious, plentiful, and the wild boar sauce was seasoned to perfection. Once I'd finished my plate, as I certainly couldn't eat any other main course, I ordered two homemade Ricciarelli. Three arrived, and since I couldn't eat one because I was so full, the friendly waitress practically forced me to take it home in a bag... When it came time to get the bill and drink my coffee, I chatted with the owner and realized that this truly is a healthy and authentic place unlike any other. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

10/11/2025: Also known as the terrible penguin house, flea market. Very cold place, not laughing cold in terms of temperature, heat pump turned off, after taking the order the waiter/owner came back to the table twice to inform us about the lack of ingredients (in total no more than 12 people) laughable appetizer, sliced ​​​​beef without arugula because it ran out. exhausting wait for the sliced ​​​​Genoese and without arugula, bring the fries at the same time so you eat them cold and soft like a big babol. We arrived first and we ate last. I had dessert and coffee elsewhere AT THE ROUNDABOUT TIRATE DRITTO.

23/07/2025: Sinceramente?? Non mi è piaciuto niente di questo posto….mi è sembrato molto scarso di staff responsabile e brava praticamente ho messo 2 stelle solo per la bellissima location stupenda e davanti al mare..mi dispiace

20/07/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante ben due volte ..la cena del primo giorno e il pranzo della partenza . Nessuna delusione: Location praticamente sulla spiaggia , buoni piatti a base di pesce , servizio ottimo . Torneremo

25/06/2025: Too bad because it would also be a nice place obviously with children in tow but it is really too too too expensive for what it offers, in every sense. For what you pay I go to a decent restaurant and take the children to a paid park afterwards, I'm sure I spend less. Service absolutely nothing to say, polite and kind.

15/11/2025: Poor service, they had clearly made a mistake with an order and came to "reprimand us" because we had said it was wrong, they were rude and still gave us the wrong pizza, plus they charged more because they split it Roman style without asking, they added at least 15 euros more and when we pointed out the mistake they replied "it's gone now" and when we said they had made a mistake they kept changing the subject saying "it's gone now"

15/11/2025: Terrible service, incompetent waiters who overcharged us. Furthermore, when we asked for clarification, they treated us as if they didn't know what we were talking about.

16/10/2025: My son and I went out for dinner this evening. The pizza was excellent, as was the cecina, and the wonderful girl who was working the tables and at the counter brought drawings and pencils for my little boy to color in.

15/10/2025: The food is very good but the service is not very pleasant, especially when you ask for a receipt after paying.

06/08/2025: Servizio pessimo eravamo solo 3 persone ci hanno servito le portate non insieme e quindi 1 persona ha mangiato da solo dopo circa 40 minuti dal servizio Fritto misto pessimo cozze non molto buone non lo consiglio

06/08/2025: Scoperto in inverno, ci siamo tornati più volte in occasione delle vacanze estive, che dire: si respira Napoli e si mangia Napoli , tutti i piatti assaggiati ottimi , dagli antipasti, ai primi alla pizza, alla rosticceria , e che dire di una delizia al limone e babbà direttamente dalla Costiera ? Ottima esperienza ! Consigliatissimo i ragazzi molto professionali simpatici e gran lavoratori , un saluto speciale a Sasà ed alla ragazza mora che gestisce le comande e le postazioni in sala ed in Spiaggia.. Bravi! Avanti così

07/08/2025: Cena in 2. Location vista mare, sul mare, terrazza sulla spiaggia. Gentili giovani e premurosi. Menu classico. Antipasti vari tema mare terra. Il tris di formaggi porzione da Antman da stand fiera. Primi con pasta fatta in casa, tema mare, abbondanti. Secondi ancora mare e abbondanti. Niente dolce ne caffè. Abbiamo ordinato le tre portate per 1 persona, dividendoci i piatti. Costo 85 euro. Per 2 avremmo speso circa 150-170€. Bravi ragazzi ma fuori di testa, come tanti altri sull'isola.

04/08/2025: El lugar es agradable y hermoso, comida promedio y demasiado caro para eso. Yo diría que no es lugar para la cena familiar, ya que no hay una gran opción para los niños.

And then there's that intangible something that can't be explained without experiencing it: the good energy you breathe, the feeling of being in the right place at the right time. The Lebowski is more than a bar. It's a haven of emotion, a place to let go, laugh, confide, or simply enjoy the moment. In short: 5 stars aren't enough to describe what this place and Alessandro offer. It's become my favorite place in Lucca, and every time I return, I leave a little happier. They feature a thoughtful lineup of local craft beers, several of which were absolute standouts and unlike anything we’d tasted elsewhere on our travels. Whether you’re a seasoned beer enthusiast or just curious to try something local, this place won’t disappoint. The owner was equally impressive — friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what he does. He has a genuine talent for mixing up personalized cocktails on the spot, simply based on your preferences. Just mention what flavours or spirits you like and watch him work his magic. It made the whole experience feel incredibly personal and elevated. Between the exceptional drinks, the laid-back atmosphere, and the warm hospitality, this spot became one of our favorite watering holes of the trip. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great drinks served with heart and style.

29/06/2025: Never again! €25 menu... half a slice of bread with tomato, half a slice of bread with sausage, a starter of beans and cereals, two thin medals of meat and peas and... STOP! Two jugs of wine for 40 people, two cokes and a few bottles of water. At the end of the evening the owner made us pay separately for the amaro... €2!!! SCANDALOUS

12/07/2025: A unique spot to escape the heat, but the pizzas aren't very varied, and there's no menu; the waiter dictates the choices. The fried apples are delicious! Cash only!

01/05/2025: Probably the best pizza of my life and the appetizer was a thing of beauty. The service was great even though they were quite busy. You can watch them make the Pizza and the wine was so local that the bottle doesn’t even have a label, it was delicious. Be aware though, you can only pay cash but it’s worth robbing a bank for.

11/07/2025: Nos encantó. Lugar acogedor, la comida muy bien preparada, rápido y amable servicio. Precios adecuados. Si buscan un lugar para comer bien, rico, con buena atención y sin precios exagerados, este es el lugar. Al finalizar nuestro almuerzo, amablemente nos dieron un chupito de limoncello. Recomendadísimo.
