29/03/2025: I had lunch here a few days ago. The food leaves something to be desired, and it's also expensive. Furthermore, there is an atmosphere of tension among all the staff, and this is what makes the experience not exactly pleasant. I don't know if the woman behind the counter is the owner or not, but it's clear how negatively she affects the other kids. And then he's really rude to customers and doesn't know how to deal with the public at all. Too bad for her. Reading the previous reviews you understand that it wasn't just my impression, both the general "discomfort" and the so-so food. And the responses given to the reviews are proof of the fact that they really don't know how to live in the world...

19/02/2025: Pleasant surprise, while traveling for work, I stop for a bite. Shopping center location but fast and friendly waiters. Bright and clean. I had a really delicious tuna steak. If I come back, I'll try other things.

29/10/2024: The bathroom is not accessible and the most grotesque thing is that the barmaid told me to go through a closet completely cluttered with junk that didn't allow entry at all. In short, I also felt made fun of, as well as badly treated for not being able to use the bathroom.

10/01/2025: We stayed 6 days in this "Resort" I would like to point out that the place is very beautiful with a wonderful view; Convenient to reach and the possibility of parking the car almost always easily. CONS: - Dated room, poor cleaning with towels sometimes stained and ruined; - Rich buffet but not of quality; - Poorly organized dining room staff, with the only concern of having the consumed bottles of water noted; USEFUL TIPS (Heard also from several people on site): - Given the immense outdoor space, a small playground for the many children present would be very welcome; - Put more chairs and benches under the gazebos (for after dinner), so that all people can sit relaxed and not standing; - But above all, proper evening entertainment!!! People want to have fun and dance together, ENTERTAINMENT - DJ and MUSIC to be reviewed absolutely. Congratulations!!! for choosing Lifeguard IVAN, helpful, kind and very attentive to people in the water. Right before our eyes he caught a 5-year-old girl who was falling to the bottom. Great job! 24/11/2024: I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant, very good food but really poor service, the waitress was unimaginably rude, while she was serving us she gave me and my friends dirty looks and spoke to herself insulting us, she took the liberty of giving us a slap a friend of mine because she had placed her knee on the chair next to hers, and she took the liberty of telling us to go to hell and giving a clearly voluntary shove to a friend of mine, and while she was serving the cake she continued to insulting us with swear words and blasphemies, making inappropriate comments, really rude!

29/08/2024: 3 pieces of pizza which are tiny to say the least for €9, on top of that the pizza is nothing special..., on top of that the lady at the counter is rude

25/08/2024: Uno schifo di pizza per non parlare dei primi, praticamente la suola delle scarpe e' piu' morbida e commestibile, poi ho buttato via ben 8€ per un piatto di penne al pomodoro, praticamente la salsa di pomodoro e' peggio di quella del discount, e la pasta talmente al dente da risultare parecchio difficile da ingoiare.

16/01/2025: The pappardelle with duck ragù turned out to be nothing resembling a ragù, the meat was shredded and there were little bones in the sauce. I refrained from ordering anything else. Yes, I was wrong, it wasn't pappardelle but lean ravioli always with duck ragù

06/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati a San Giovanni d'Asso per una breve sosta. Abbiamo mangiato una ribollita, dei pici all'aglione e un bel piatto di affettati misti tipici e deliziosi. Ambiente molto molto carino, cortesia del personale, mano femminile assolutamente riscontrabile in tutto, prezzi giusti. Consigliato!

31/12/2024: Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante a pranzo. Ci hanno posizionato davanti a un piccolo camino perché il locale era un po freddo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto (19 euro) da dividere in due. Due calici di vino rosso (9 euro uno). Poi due primi, (tartufo purtroppo finito...) parmigiana di patate e carciofi, tagliolini al limone capperi e alici. Sui primi nulla da dire su quantità e prezzo. Poi un dolce con sfogliatelle e ricotta buona. Avrei dato 4 stelle per la qualità del cibo, ma un paio di cose sono da rivedere. Ho chiesto se l'acqua fosse stata troppo frizzante e mi é stato gentilmente detto che eventualmente l'avrebbeeo cambiata senza problemi miscelando. L'ho fatta cambiare ma una volta arrivato a casa lo scontrino riportava il costo di 2 bottiglie d'acqua consumate (2+2 euro)...poi secondo me la quantità di vino versata nel calice era abbastanza esigua, come la porzione di un antipasto da 19 euro mi é sembrata piccola.

06/04/2025: Friendly owner and makes you feel like you are a guest in his home! The staff is very kind and attentive to the demanding needs of the guest. The brunette girl with curls particularly struck me with her attentive gaze on the room, very good! The food has both classic offerings but also very special proposals created by the owner! I highly recommend it!

23/03/2025: RE-EVALUATED What can I say, we haven't been there for about 2 months, we're changing our previous review: there's absolutely nothing bad to say about the food at this restaurant. IT'S ALL TOO GOOD. We went for dinner, a gigantic menu, perhaps even to the detriment of the kitchen that has to make various types and use so many ingredients. But some Rolls, they are FABULOUS. Here you just have to look carefully at the menu, because it's a bit scattered in its sections, which could also be grouped together for convenience. Yes, no way, Umai on food, the care of the rolls, always remains Umai. Good, tasty, varied, imaginative. It's impossible not to like them once you've found your favorites. When you find the gems, you never forget them. Personally, I love when they use lemon zest, a touch of class that is not obvious 🤤 The owner is always kind to us, so we really have nothing to complain about. Some useful tips: 1) Only one tablet per table is a bit inconvenient. There are now more practical systems, with QR codes and ordering via smartphone. There would be a need for modernization on this front. 2) At Umai you eat divinely and well, and of quality. But, I would say, try to go at times when there is not too much crowd. Otherwise it could be difficult to bring this quality to your table, and you risk the collapse of the service. We went at 8:00 pm, practically at opening and luckily there were not too many customers. This factor is important especially for the central lunch areas. 3) Yes, the cost can be a bit high, perhaps there could be concessions, for example increasing the cost on the weekend, and lowering it during. In short, balance everything. But when I bring you all the dishes, with that care, with that attention, you don't even look at the price anymore honestly. And whoever writes here is certainly not rolling in gold! :) Arigato!
