23/02/2025: We eat well. The pizza is good and the staff is very friendly.

22/01/2025: It's not the first time I've come here and it won't be the last. We are at the pizzeria of the Casa del Popolo in Calenzano; as you can imagine, the environment (a single large room with an open kitchen and oven) is rather spartan, crowded and a little noisy. On weekends it is absolutely recommended to book if you want to be sure of finding a place. The fact that it is full is already a good indication. For dinner on Friday for three couples: 1 potato gnocchi with seafood sauce (abundant, rich in fish and very good), 5 pizzas and 1 covaccino (good and well-leavened dough, medium to thin, well seasoned and perfectly cooked) ; 2 desserts (abundant and impeccable millefeuille), 4 small beers (the highway code also applies in pizzerias) and two bottles of water. Too bad they don't have coffee. The cost? We stayed under €25 per couple.

03/01/2025: Abbiamo preso un piatto tris io e i miei 2 amici abbiamo pagato apposta di 10 euro al piatto 50 euro tutto il conto che tra l'altro il mio amico non aveva preso neanche una pietanza che comunque glielano fatto pagare. Cameriera scortese in quel momento apposta di occuparsi dei clienti se ne andata a mangiare al tavolo vicino. Il gusto del cibo pessimo. Esperienza da non ripetere.

27/04/2025: Excellent bakery. Always well stocked with both sweet and savory items. The cream puff pastry is fantastic but everything is good anyway. Great for a late night breakfast!

25/04/2025: Attention to the disgusting public, I've already gone twice even if the pasta is good, after that attention it puts a bad taste in your mouth

06/06/2025: Every year during our Italian vacation, we go to Siena specifically to eat here. Why? The menu is fantastic, unlike the run-of-the-mill selection of restaurants around the square. The food is top-quality and the service is very friendly. The ambiance is also beautiful.

05/06/2025: Both for lunch and dinner we were able to taste very very good dishes, simple and genuine products! Compliments to the chef and all the staff!! I highly recommend and if we ever return to Siena we will remember you!!

06/06/2025: Nice and well-furnished environment. I found myself participating in a lunch with a group of friends and I must say that I had a great time, excellent food and good service, nothing to say. Definitely recommended. Normal expense compared to how much we ate.

03/01/2025: Per rimanere in tema natalizio il locale ha reso il nostro pranzo freddo e costoso. A nostro parere 16€ per una pasta al pomodoro mi sembra esagerato e un antipasto “leggero” suo 13€ imbarazzante. Per niente consigliato per il costo corrisposto al servizio dato.

28/04/2025: Personalmente nn so se ho parlato con il proprietario o un dipendente, pero persona poco cordiale con i clienti che si sono lamentati di una pizza bruciata. Lui invece di chiedere scusa fa il fenomeno mostrando un'altro calzone dicendo se andava. L'altro calzone nn so se x paura di bruciarlo l'impasto era crudo . Faccio la recensione solo xchè nn sanno rapportarsi con i clienti, xchè l'errore ci può stare ma nn fare il figo davanti i clienti seduti in sala . Personalmente nn mi rivedrà piu

03/05/2025: Small place and not particularly exciting, but good pizza, friendly staff and a fair wait. The sore points, at least in my experience, were two: 1) the microscopic cheesecakes with almost no base underneath (they had probably run out of ingredients, I don't know, but at that point don't even offer it) very different from how they appear in some photos 2) one person at the table with me got the pizza completely wrong. We didn't tell him because in the end he was fine with it anyway, maybe they would have made it again, I'm not arguing, but if someone asks (for example, I can't remember the specific pizza now) for a "4 cheeses with sausage" it's obvious that they mean the sausage PLUS the 4 cheeses; instead a margherita arrived with only the sausage... It was certainly a coincidence, but so be it.

17/03/2025: An easy-going place, ideal for evenings with friends, the pizza is excellent, but their pizza burgers are shocking, not to mention their wraps... in short, a taste experience worth trying!!

26/04/2025: Renowned local pastry shop to which something must have happened people at the counter without a smile without a SOUL ready only to point with their finger and not even to ask you something I don't question the quality but especially to the young, blonde girl and the bartender a smile and an explanation don't hurt never remembering that my money is the same as other people's but it will be a drop in the ocean but I will never come back also believing that I am doing you a pleasure......
