18/07/2024: we entered and the owner, angry, forced his friends to leave even though they had paid, dragging the chair with her on it out of the room. Sushi not very fresh and we all vomited as soon as we finished. Absurd casino and rude waiters with 10 year old children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13/08/2024: This is THE place to buy panforte, the delicious Tuscan specialty with fruit and nuts. Don't be lured by the beautiful wrappers on the factory-made panforte sold in all the souvenir stores. These folks make everything themselves, and you can taste the difference. Personally, I like the panforte pepato - heavy on the spices with a little black pepper for punch. BTW I found La Nuova Pasticceria by asking the woman in a souvenir store on the piazza. She said it's where her whole family shops.

27/07/2024: We had breakfast here every morning during our vacation, except on Wednesday, when the Pasticceria Café Janette is closed. Every morning I was greeted with a smile and my order was taken with great patience despite the hustle and bustle. On day three I was greeted in English when I entered the café. Large selection of sandwiches, cakes and sweet snacks, the coffee tastes excellent. If there wasn't a sandwich to our liking, it was prepared without further ado. Price-performance ratio is excellent, I can recommend it without reservation.

30/07/2024: I read so many positive reviews and I'm sorry to give such a low rating but I ordered a home delivery and all the dishes ordered were really bad, I want to think that the time was to blame. I will try again hoping for a better result...

27/06/2024: I found variety of food both fish and meat, rotisserie chicken and variety of vegetables. I purchased an excellent salmon with thin, crispy potatoes. I took the food home but the place also offers seating at no additional cost.

27/08/2024: We ordered 3 special pizzas, a coke and a beer, as we were leaving the waiter forgot about the beer. The pizzas were very BURNED and RAW, NO TOMATO sauce and very SMALL. Described as specialty pizzas and not gourmet, we were expecting large pizzas and were disappointed. The pizza crust was filled with PESTO bought at the supermarket, gray and tasteless (probably from a BARILLA SUB-BRAND), the dough GUMMY and DRY. The appearance of the pizzas was DEPRESSING, especially the one with mortadella and pistachios with a CEMENT GRAY color. Furthermore, the PRICE of the pizzas is too HIGH for the quality of the pizzas, only the classic ones have a good price. It goes without saying that such an experience is an evil joke for the customer. Once we finished eating the general comment was: INEDIBLE!

26/08/2024: A few weeks ago my partner and I had dinner in this wonderful osteria with Neapolitan charm and scents. We were welcomed kindly by the staff who immediately proved to be very professional, we had the pleasure of trying the cold cuts platter, different from the usual proposals and we particularly appreciated the duck breast, a real delicacy for the palate, we continued with a burrata and crostini with Colonnata lard which makes your mouth water just thinking about it, exceptional first courses and desserts with a home-made flavour. I highly recommend it, it's a place I promised myself I'd return to because in addition to the culinary goodness we felt strongly pampered by the staff, that kind of attention that only the south reserves... in short, a piece of Naples in the streets of Capoliveri!

20/05/2024: I discovered the Ni-Hao restaurant about a year ago and I have always had a great time. I usually always order Chinese, but yesterday I decided to try the sushi too and I was really very satisfied. The dishes are good, the portions are generous and the prices are low. Furthermore, the takeaway sushi is also very well presented. Home deliveries have always been on time. Advised!

04/08/2024: An amazing atmosphere with sooooo delicious food! Pizzas are really great and the drinks are well served. The thing that I liked the most was the place lighting and the whole atmosphere is captivating.

03/08/2024: Tried pizzeria a few evenings ago. Quick telephone reservation, we arrive and are seated a few minutes after the booked time. Few outside tables, inside I don't know because I didn't notice. The outdoor tables are adjacent to the sidewalk. Some of the tables, like the one we had, were on a slope and were constantly rocking. We order two pizzas, two beers and a dessert to share. Total cost €51. In my opinion, the pizzas are not as expensive as many people say in the reviews, because these reflect the prices of Florence and the area, but I found high prices for everything else, including beers. There are no appetizers or similar things. Basically the pizza is good and for the dough you can choose between the classic one and the multigrain one. Medium sized pizzas, courteous wait staff.

30/07/2024: The breathtaking view is just a calling card for this activity: in a week of staying in the area we returned twice, for the Monday braciata and for the weekend aperitif. A warm and impeccable service for excellent food, local and often 0 km raw materials, traditional local dishes but not only that. If you are in the area it is definitely worth an evening!

04/07/2024: We loved our stay at Torre dei Baratti Bio Resort. The staff, the rooms, and the location are all incredibly good. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us as if we were regular guests, making us feel right at home. There’s a magical atmosphere at the property and in the bay that is hard to put into words. It feels uniquely different from any other place we've stayed. Breakfast was a delight, with great food served by the ever-smiling and welcoming restaurant staff. The views of Golfo di Baratti are unparalleled. With no houses and very few cars, it feels like stepping back in time to experience what Maremma was like in the 80s.

24/06/2024: The best pad thai eaten outside Thailand. Very slow food, be prepared to wait but the wait is worth it.

25/04/2024: We entered at 9pm. They brought us water and wine at 9.50pm after we requested it. At 11.14pm we are still waiting for half the seconds. A very serious fact was that a boy announced that he was celiac, asking what dishes he could eat and was told everything except fried foods. When the dish arrived I was asked again if there was soy sauce as from the looks of it there seemed to be and was told no. The waitress came back to tell the boy not to eat it because there was soy sauce with gluten when he had already eaten several bites. We absolutely do not recommend it.
